INCOMPETENT IMBECILES! Don't trust these CLOWNS with your vehicle. Mechanic FAILED to secure oil pan after oil change. I witnessed another customer return to shop to secure his Registration. Dud mechanic had mixed up Registrations & given him the wrong Registration. I'm reporting this shop to the DMV!

Used to be really good station to do change oil and inspection, but a new employee missed up just by his attitude. for 4 years i have been coming here to inspect the same car nothing changed on it. To failed me on window tinting that has been the same window for 4 years even after showing them the history of the same test.I Took the car elsewhere and got it done with no problems or even asked. Wow

Fast reliable service at a fair price. I've been a customer for years.Recently I moved to a nearby town. I needed an inspection and tried three places local to where we now live. Nobody could see me in a reasonable timeframe, even after scheduling an appointment. Southern Services was able to get me in and out, and I didn't need an appointment. Easily with the extra hour of driving I had to do.For inspections, oil changes and the occasional tire rotation, these guys can't be beat.

I ve been bringing my car here for oil changes and just found out they do motorcycles too. It s always quick and easy and the guys are pretty nice. Got my bike inspected and the oil changed for a reasonable price.

On the phone arrival I was greeted with a smile and asked of my service. I told them I needed oil change to make it home, and I was giving knowledge of the services and oils that they provide. They also noticed that I had an exhaust leak and proceeded to fix it. Even though spur of the moment, if they can't fix it, I'm glad that they were concerned. I'm from GA these guys are great.

Went in for routine oil change and came out with 'synthetic' at a premium price. Not cool. Vehicle has had conventional oil for many years and all of the sudden this establishment decided that it required synthetic. Or did the establishment desire a few extra bucks... They do not do motorcycle inspections anymore. :-( But they have great service.

Had my motorcycle inspected there and they were top notch. I was in and out in about 10 mins. The guys were friendly and working hard, managing the few customers there at the time.

I've been taking vehicles here for close to 15 years, including my work trucks. Always great service, never a long wait and have never had problems. Place is easy to get in and out of, and they focus on what they are good at (oil change and inspections). Don't have to worry about them trying to sell you tons of extras. Of course over the years the employees change quite a bit but owner or manager always seems to hire good people, always pleasant to work with

I've been a customer here for years. Last Wednesday I pulled up at 5:30 for an oil change. One car in the bay and one car ahead of me. They close at 6:00 but a guy I've never seen before it came out and told me they can't get me because they close at 6:00 - it was only 5:30! They lost my business, I'm gone. And I encourage everyone else to be wary, if they don't care about staying till 6:10 to satisfy a customer, they don't care about their jobs and could do shabby work.

Went out in to have car inspected. Tez informed me my tint was too dark which I've had this car since 2020 with SAME tint since 2020. Really felt like he was being racist during the encounter as well as on the phone.. I'm a NC Dealer and expected better service than was received. It's a NO for me for a return service

Update: Visited again on 05/Jun/2023. Another pleasant experience. Quick and friendly service. Again went the extra mile; this time informing me (and showing me proof of) a stripped oil drain plug. They replaced it for me. It s not common these days to get that extra service/touch. It s something I greatly miss and am extremely grateful for.Went beyond normal service to note a couple of areas of concern: worn break pad (metal on metal causing damage to disc) and fuel smell which led them to discover that it was a minor leak caused by the rubber fuel filler tube leading to the gas tank being a bit loose, so they tightened for me. These are a couple of safety concerns they really didn t have to mention to me, but they did, which I m grateful for especially since this is our main family vehicle. Thanks Tyler and Jonathan!

Had a great experience here when getting a state inspection. Matt and Justin took great car of me and my truck and even alerted me to a slight seeping from the rear differential that I had just noticed the day before. They were both very cheerful and friendly and let an impression even though the entire visit took less than 10 minutes. I will happily continue to use Southern Services.

After spending more than $500 at another place and giving up on them I brought my car here and they had me in and out with my inspection. Great place and the workers were absolutely professional and Devine. I'm incredibly happy!!!!

Excellent quality service! I went in for an NC state inspection, oil & filter change. In and out in 20 min, no waiting. Very professional service, clean and sanitized waiting room and rest room. Employees were very efficient and attentive. Will definitely return!

I was a loyal customer until my last two oil changes. I don't know if it's the change in owners, untrained technicians or the nonchalant attitude observed by the employees which lead to my disappointment. An oil change I assume to be a straight forward process, therefore to experience puddles of oil underneath my vehicle didn't set well with me. When I inquired about the owners and I was told they have day jobs, I suspect this is more than likely part of the problem. After being a satisfied customer for years, I will never take my vehicle to Southern Services Again.Service: Oil change

I didnt know anything about cars and when I went here to get an oil change and a car inspection they were able to do both in less than 30 minutes. They also asked me what oil I wanted in my car, no other place has gone to this level of detail before.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

This used to be our first choice for state inspection but I will no longer use or recommend this business. My wife took her 2018 vehicle for the state inspection and came away with several grease smears on the car and on the dash and seats inside the car. We also found a small scratch in the exact same spot of the hood that 2 employees were observed leaning with their zippered jackets. The car had just been looked at by our detailer 10-15 minutes earlier as we were preparing to have the car waxed and no scratches were found. We immediately complained to the manager about the careless neglect of their employees but they just argued that it was unlikely a zipper could have scratched the paint. They could not dispute that they were careless because we have photos of the grease marks they left but they refused to accept that a person with a jacket zipper could scratch the paint. We asked to elevate the situation and was put in contact with someone from their insurance dept but again was told that it was unlikely that a zipper could have scratched the paint. Any Google search will find several websites that show how zippers can easily scratch paint but this business refused to take any responsibility. We were not asking for the car to be re-painted, we just wanted the business to take some responsibility but not even one person bothered to take a look at the car or reach out with any resolution. The car was an expensive vehicle that was very well maintained and we left the business with grease smears and a scratch, that is totally unacceptable! It doesn't matter how nice of a vehicle you have, or how much or little damage they do, you should not have to worry that your vehicle will be handled like this. You should expect that your vehicle will be handled with care and if there is a problem they take prompt actions to resolve it, not look for excuses to get out of accepting responsibility. My recommendation is to stay away from this business!

I wanted to get an oil change here but Tyler Burns scalps oil. He buys for a much cheaper price then sells for a much higher price. This isn t very good business practice they should sell at cost or for a loss as any good business does. Scalping is not ethical Tyler.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

This is the only place I take our vehicles to get inspected. The staff is fantastic, I've never spent more than 20 minutes here and there have been times when it's packed. Service is always quick and reliable.

They do Motorcycle Inspections, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. 2 shops down the street could not inspect my bike. Friendly guys and exceptional customer service.

It's the only place I've taken any of my vehicles to get oil changes and inspections for the last 8 years and I've never had an issue. The place isn't fancy, but doesn't need to be because they're wicked fast and have as good or better prices than anyone else around. The mechanics are straight shooters and will tell you if they see legitimate problems, but they don't try to sell you a bunch of nonsense. I couldn't recommend them more highly.
