I needed the spark plugs replaced in my Toyota Tacoma truck. Maxx had the best price around. They worked me in that same day and had it finished in 30 minutes. They also topped off the fluids and put lubricant in the ignition switch, which it needed badly, at no extra charge! Maxx Used Tires and Auto Service gave the type of quality service that I haven't seen for several decades now. I would highly recommend Maxx Used Tires and Auto Service to anyone!Brad Nelson

If you don t need a beautiful lobby, this is the place for you. That s literally the only difference between this place and other chains .I ve gotten new tires, brakes, and oil changes here. Hard working and friendly people who do quality work at better prices. I ll keep coming back.

By far the worst service ever! If you have engine, transmission or problems of that caliber DO NOT take your car to this shop! I spent around $600-700 changing my clutch & told them to check if something else was not working properly. They told me the car had no other issues & was safe to drive, 2 days after it died on me. What if it would ve happened on a highway at 70 mph? They didn t take any responsibility in even helping me with the manual labor cost or any incentives to fix the problem. They now say I need a transmission without even opening the car back up.

The girl that answer's the phone is rude put you on hold and then turns the phone off to go to voice-mail they need a new receptionist one that is professional and customer courtesy ijs

These guys are NOT mechanics They don t know how to fix cars they only replace parts until problem is solved. They will charge you a ridiculous labor rate.I would say maybe just good for tires but even than I be cautious.

They was fast and gentle. On Tuesday noon, Nov 15th 2022. I got my tire flat in Cary and I called them to ask for my wheel model, they told me the price (fair price and good quality wheel). I was very satisfied and I recommend this store. I was alone, they saved my life Lol. Thank you so much guys.

I am a repeat customer and will continually be one. But this shop isn't for everyone. This is America not future socialist America where your forced to go where your peace keeper patrols assigns you. They sell used tires, if you ask for one and they give you a price, just hold them to it. Not in a mean way but just remind them. But 9 out of 10 times they remember, this has happened to me as well.. just be nice.. Also it's your job as a customer to weight the value. As 2 times the tire they showed me was too used. So I didn't buy them. But more times they are a great value. Example I drive like a race driver and burn through the edges of tires like a fat kid eating cupcakes. They are $320 new including install, or $65 for a used one. Now one the other hand you own a Saturn with 13" tires you may want to look at going new from the beginning. But that's your job as a customer to do that homework. Do you show up to the Apple store then jump online and complain about them trying to sell you an iPhone when you really wanted a Samsung Galaxy? P.s. they understand English well enough, may not speak it well. But the employee understand what your saying.

Had a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to accommodate the walk-in though it was closing time. Fast and good service.

Had what I was looking for and installed/balanced without waiting. Instead of the usual 4 new tires other places insist on selling I bought one tire for $60. Way better than $1000 when they have 75% tread still on them!

I asked for two used tires. At first, the guy said: I have $40, $45 and $50 used tires. After looking, he find a 2019 and a 2014 used tires. I was expecting to have a better price for the old one, but instead he charged me 100 for two used not perfect condition tires. Never going back.

I stopped by Maxx on the hunt for a good used tire set for an old jeep zj I keep around as a spare vehicle. These guys had an awesome set of tires mounted on my vehicle in 45 minutes! Price was awesome, service was friendly. Don't be fooled by the appearance of their shop. It's very obvious their focus is on the customer and a job done right. I will be back.

I don t write many reviews, but Maxx Used Tires absolutely deserves it. I was reasonably sketched out when I first went to them for tires, as I am with any new auto repair shop. But time and time again I have been pleasantly surprised. Sure, it s not the most beautiful place in the world, but their people are down to earth, transparent and trustworthy. They don t just do tires either! They ve replaced even my engine for me when the worst happened to my car, and it s been running beautifully. Their prices are unbeatable, they stand by their word, and I have yet to be disappointed. Thank you.

I pulled up last minute prior to them closing with a flat that was beyond repair. They were very friendly found a tire for me within a few minutes. The tire was a good price.

I found this gem during an emergency while traveling for work. They were so professional and fast! I only lost about 20 minutes in all, and after they asked where I was traveling to, they gave me an alternate route that kept me from being late!... I will be back for my next set of tires. (They also do servicing on vehicles) To me, their customer service, pricing, and expertise, more than compensates for little travel! Thank you so much!!!

I've used these people for years! Great group of people friendly and courteous. I've probably bought 100 tires from them. No one is perfect, but these people and the owner come closer than anyone else I have encountered in the car business.

I reached them over the phone to see if they have a used tire available instore for my car. The front desk lady passed on the call to another person who responded back saying that they have two tires available. I then requested for the thread size on those tires and he responded back in a very rude tone that I need to be at store in order to find out that information and disconnected the call. I am unsure what triggered him, since i spoke with him for less than a minute. With such an initial impression, no one will even try visiting the store and face these people directly.

Didn't take credit or debit card, only cash. Took about 20 minutes for me to get cash. Once I got the $70 in cash to pay for my two used tires the service was pretty fast as it was a Friday at 10am. This place is okay, they need to be able to take card that would be much more convenient.

Expensive surprise Price .. Im buying for my car used tires 2 1=$50. I thought 35 but they changed price surprised. Me $50 used tires i was check it in online Walmart $45 & U see differentIm just to know buy new its better than used Expensive shop . thanks.. Online good deal just looking u will find...

This review is only for their used tire service. If you are in need of a quick cheap used tire this is the place to go in Apex. The guys there always get the job done fast and I've never had any problems. The used tires aren't bad by any means but certainly don't look new. For 35% though you, as well as myself, probably wouldn't have been complaining.5 Stars cause if you need a used tire they're the place to go. Never had any issues. Just be sure to bring cash because they don't take card.

Took my car because was acting up... Left it there since early this week, they never called me, I had to contact them. I had previously taken another car and had a bad experience with them, they broke a sensor. I thought they would do a better job of I gave them a second chance... I was wrong. Spend your money elsewhere. I would only recommend this place to get cheap tires that's all. They don't work well when it comes to other services.

I've been to this place of business twice this year to have new tires installed with no issues, but today wasnt the best experience. I have nothing negative to say about his employees that installed all 4 tires, but the ower, that's a different story. I waited roughly 30 minutes to have the service completed. No problem. However when it came time to pay for the service rendered, not only did he try to overcharge me, but the cc machine is down. Wow! So me and one of his employees drove up the highway to the nearest atm for me to withdraw some cash. He asked the brother that installed the tires to ride with me because he assumed I wasnt trustworthy enough to return and pay for the service.Truthfully....I will not be returning nor will I give a recommendation.

Do not get your car fixed here! Fixed his car in April then had a heart transplant in May and now in July and this happens randomly. I could of been killed and my boyfriend could of as well. They did not care and said only 30 days! Didn't even bother to take any responsibility and just want cash! Its time this company gets sued. Its sketchy how they do not accept card.

Brought a tire from there it had holes I did not see. I got a flat two days later. Instead of showing good faith, I had to pay another 21 dollars to fix the tire. They are a rip off. I will never get a tire or anything from them ever again. A big disappointment. Should have taken a male with me.

Have been here now a couple times. Both experiences have been excellent. Knowledgeable and fair with prices. I have gotten used tires from here and service on my Lexus. Great staff and I highly recommend.

These guys are awesome. I'm a regular to get tires mounted both for my personal car and also our race cars. Probably had 40-50 tires mounted over the past few years and not one issue with balance on any of them.

I love these guys. They work fast their prices could not be less. They went out of their way to make sure I had a tire when I was in trouble. Go there and be impressed. They always open!

Came in at 4:15 pm today here it is 5:30 pm and my tires aren't on my car yet. I just came for four used tires. Not to mention it's freezing and they don't have a waiting area. They also tried to sell me a set of four tires one having a hole in it for $200.00 The credit card machine is down so I have to go get cash after and come back since I wasn't notified before my car was lifted up on a jack . Worse place ever wouldn't recommend them I wish I could give no stars
