Todd rebuilt the transmission on my 1991 Dodge D250. Did a fantastic job. The total job cost was actually less than he quoted me.

Service performance was timely. I did have to wait for my transmission rebuild, however it shifts like it did when new, what more could I ask. While parked waiting someone put a ding in the hood like a delivery truck like roll back or sharp metal. Parking area is not barricaded from drive thru.

I've only ever gotten full rebuilds with all the pulling mods recommended by the manufacturer.Sometimes, that gets pricey.Parts cost. I don't want junk in my vehicles. If I only need it freshened up. I can do that myself. When I see it's getting worn, hey what can I do?I let these guys right here handle it. I'm no slouch, some things I don't have the equipment for.But, when you get 300K miles out of it AFTER their rebuild... I'm all in!The secret? Do you services.Oil wears out and gets dirty.Thanks for always doing a great job for me guys.

We have used Todd on several different occasions,from new to rebuilding transmissions. He is exactly what small business is about. Excellent work, Honest, dependable, personable and fair prices. If there is transmission problems there's no other place I would trust.

If I can give more than 5 stars, I will. Todd is an honest and fair guy. I took my vehicle to Thomas Tire and Automotive to fix the problem I m having. I specifically told them to make sure to drive it because it makes noise and it jerks sometimes. After I paid over 5K for the job they did, well the problem is still existing. I took it back and they did miss checking the transmission. Thank God, they refer me to take it to Gary Transmission. My vehicle is in great condition now. I got a new GM transmission installed. It drives great! If you ever need a job done to your vehicle, I highly recommend seeing Todd. Don t go to Thomas Tire, unless you want to get charged an exuberant amount of money. I didn t know any better but the previous work they did to my vehicle was a very unreasonable high price. I will always take my vehicle to Gary Transmission place. Great customer service! After taking my car to a Ford dealership for costly repairs they performed that didn t fix the noise I was hearing and then returning to the same dealership to then be told I needed a new $5,000 transmission which they couldn t get for at least six months, I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out that I didn t need a transmission at all. Todd and his staff determined the problem was a bad motor mount. Todd took the time to actually drive my car to discern what was wrong and then did a thorough inspection at his shop. He also found a problem with a couple tires so they could be dealt with and when I picked up my car, it ran great and sounded normal again. I highly recommend Gary s Transmission if you want competent workmanship and kind, honest customer service!

Todd was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done with my f-250 after my transmission had a stroke he upgraded and replaced all parts needed to make my truck a pulling workhorse i have never had my truck run like it does now!!!!! Thanks again Todd you will have my business from here on.

It never fails when your husband goes away, something goes wrong. I ll admit I was nervous to have to deal with car issues on my own, but Gary s was honest,straight forward, and quick to get me back on the road. Todd explained what could be the issue and gave me several understandable options. When I walked in to drop off my F250, I was greeted by a customer who had just paid his bill and was leaving and get this, he was smiling, after mechanical repairs to his truck. He made it a point to tell me how he was so delighted to receive the best customer service and professionalism he has seen in many years. After my experience, I completely agree with him. Trustworthiness along with professionalism and great service in auto repair business today is hard to find but you will find that here. I left smiling and assured and that is very rare for me.

Todd bent over backwards to help me. Best customer service I ve had from anyone in a long time. This is the first shop my trucks have been in, in over 8 years, so I was REALLLLLLLLY nervous. I am so grateful the tow truck took me to Gary s Transmission!!!!!!

I highly recommend Gary's Transmissions for transmission replacement or rebuild. I had my 2002 Honda Civic towed to Gary's because their price to replace the transmission was half of the cost in The Triangle area. They replaced the transmission with one I had found at a junkyard and it was bad!! After that Todd worked with me on rebuilding the original transmission. Throughout the process of replacing and rebuilding, he was so patient, kind, and professional! I could tell he takes pride in running his family business and it shows in his service! I am very happy that I chose Gary's Transimission for this service. Car is running great now. Thank you, Todd!

HONEST. Went to Gary's for a diagnostic. Could have easily recommended that I needed an expensive overhaul. Had me in and out very quick and didn't charge. Will return for transmission work and recommend Gary's Transmission to everyone I know. Military friendly.

Currently driving a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica, 2 months after purchase the transmission went out. I was in Maryland at the time, called a local shop and had it replaced. Almost back to North Carolina my front end started making noise. Called up Gary's Transmission and told them the problem. They brought me in right away, test drove the car and found the issue and got to work. Got the car back and everything is perfect no more worries about the car breaking down on me and no more noise. Thank you so much for getting my back on the road Tod. I will most definitely recommend you to friends and family.
