They really need to take better care of this place. I understand that it has recently undergone a new management change with the new owners don't take much better care of it than the old owners. You never see them around and I've never seen any maintenance completed on the buildings and machinery. Half the time when I drive by the car washes are out of commission especially the automatic wash. Even though we live nearby we never go there because the car washes don't seem to be maintained. Oftentimes the trash cans are overflowing and there's people hanging out nearby.

It really says something when this place has a mere four reviews, when the one down the road by Buffalo Wild Wings, likely owned by the same entity, has hundreds of reviews, but that's not entirely the point.I think this place might need a bit of an overhaul and upgrade. Anyone else notice that the Gatorade machine is out, and probably has been since 2002?Why does this thing take $2.25, and why only in quarters? I just think that $2.25 is kind of odd, and maybe $2.50 or just $2 would've been alright. Not to mention that I had to scrummage up some quarters from the nearby Food Lion. Not like I was broke. I did have enough money on me, and I DID have two one dollar bills on my person, but not only does this thing not take cards, it doesn't take bills either. What the what? And it's not like there's a machine that can give you coins for your bills either. The automatic car wash track has a garbage can, or something, blocking the way. If I had to guess, that doesn't work. This isn't a particular issue, as manual washing can be fun in its own right, right? As for the actual wash itself: In what land does the owner of this world think you can do all the steps listed on the signs in a mere four minutes and some change? For $2.25, only in quarters if I need to remind you, you only have about four whole minutes, and quite frankly, I don't think that's enough time, and it certainly wasn't for me.In fact, I had to skip the part with the foam brush out of fear of not having time to rinse the soap off with the water part, as I certainly didn't want to leave with soapy suds streaks or anything of that nature. Now I can say that once the car dried out, it did look nice, or at the very least no worse off than when it started. As far as the basic mission of getting the thing clean, it served that rather nicely. But given how it's so awkward to control the squirt gun and how you have such a limited timeframe and have so many steps involved in said timeframe, if NOTHING else, I suggest you extend the time limit. There is a way to insert coins to extend the time, but if one's already hard-pressed to find nine entire quarters, I doubt they'll have a tenth. So in conclusion, extend the time limit, and accept cards and bills.Thank You!This is the first of my series of car wash reviews that I will be posting throughout 2022, as I attempt to go to every single car wash in Moore County, and to my knowledge, there are twelve of them. One down and eleven to go!In case this post is the reason Google institutes a character limit, I humbly ask for humanity's forgiveness.EDIT 2/24/22: OK, so I drove by there again, and it seems like the automatic track is working again, but I'd be weary of it anyway. As it turns out this place DOES have a machine that gives coins for bills, but I still stand by everything else I've said.EDIT 7/4/22: Well, look at THIS! Someone must've totally revamped the automatic wash, as it is not only still open, but it looks pretty different! My experience with the now-confirmed-to-be-working was very pleasant, but I do stand by everything else I said about my January experience. Maybe I should give the manual stuff another go since the automatic one is different? Anyway, I'd give the manual experience here three stars, but the automatic one at least four!

I watched maintenance service the facility twice before I used both the carwash bay and the vacuums, all change machines were operating for customers.Great sunrise experience with no fear near other businesses!Smart investment someone made!

The truck got washed. However, how come there were no air blowers to dry it after you pull out?? $7 is a good deal compared to the competition in the area. The basic begins at $5, which is a bargain.

Automatic car wash accepted my payment and never started. There is not a contact number posted anywhere to reach the owner, manager or anyone about getting my money back...This will be my last visit to this place.
