Great location, right next to subway stations, and great staff,Kobie was exceptionally nice, I had a small issue when returning and he resolved it quickly, and respectfully, he s a great person!Overall national car rental never disappoints!Thank you for being by far the best car rental on earth!!

We are shocked that National Car Rental, Edinburgh,UK, has tried to pass off a tyre scrape as a chargeable issue. It's a completely acceptable wear & tear on a car that's been used for 7 days in the Highlands in Scotland.It's daylight arm twisting robbery. We are from NY and have never had this kind of high handed overcharging or cuckolding the client in this way .We'd like our rightful money back. They'd charged us �250 , have reversed �125/-We'd like the rest of our money back. It's just highway robbery if you ask meAnyone can see from the video & pictures that it's completely unjustified. National, you can not charge us �125 for this. It must've been there BEFORE we even picked it up, who can tell. No one checks tyres this closely on picking up the car. We didn't. The staff girl who had to take the car from us , zeroed in on the spot even though it's dark & dingy in the car park.We have been using National in New York, USA, and we've been so well looked after by themWe feel violated and angry enough to take my complaint to the CAA, the appropriate consumer fraud departments in car rentals.Chris we sent an email with the rental agreement no. & claim details to the email id you have sent us

Staffs are very professional and attentive. This lovely lady at the front desk prepared paperwork while this other well-dressed gentlemen retrieved the car. Although this is just a small neighborhood location, they still recognized my status and gave me an upgrade to a fairly new Infiniti Q50. Returning the car after hour was fairly easy as the garage attendant is present overnight.Will certainly visit this location again for my next rental!

Theres bad teams, uneducated staff and horrible customer service and then there s this hell hole of a location that doesn t collaborate/cooperate with the customer.They legitimately have NO interest/empathy with the client; they would care more about looking at paint drying than offering any kind of help.Safe yourself from the headache, DO NOT go to this joke of a rental car location.

Nice and friendly staff, the whole process was easy and fast. Unfortunately, the automatic brake was explained, but not how the EZ pass is working. Also, the toll pricing was not very transparent, but this could be a website issue and there were no bad surprises.We had a Chevrolet Equinox in good condition, the cleanliness of the windshield and the dashboard could have been a bit better. Overall, it was a good experience and I can recommend this rental station.

AMAZING! It was my first time ever renting a car and this National Car location @743 Broadway made my experience seamlessly. It took less than 15 min to pick up where Sokho upgraded my full size reserved car to an SUV at no additional cost. The car was very clean and looked like new, gave me no issues on the road. Winney assisted me when dropping off the car, provided me a receipt and ended paying the exact price I initially reserved online. Zero hassle, one hundred percent recommend.

The nicest car rental experience i have ever had in Manhattan! At other rental agencies in the city the service tends to be slow, the cars mediocre ...but this place outshines them all by far!I usually rent with National but not sure why I've never tried to rent here.. will definitely be going back!A+ friendly service going above and beyond!

These guys are incredible, every single person in this office. Through an unfortunate event of having a truck side-swipe my car, I got the opportunity to see how awesome the representatives in this office really are and how far they will go to ensure customer appreciation. Pure quality, thank you! And their office hours are very customer-oriented.

Consistently one of the best rental car crews in the city. Long time counter reps and revolving managers are always professional and friendly.Pro Tip: The garage is open 24 hours, meaning you can return cars when National is closed. Just be sure to get a check in receipt from the attendant and hold onto it until you get an email from National that your car is checked in.Pro Tip 2: The entrance of Mercer Street is far easier to get in and out of than Broadway.

Enter into the garage next to the EZ-Car. If you're walking to get your car and heading north, the sign can be a bit difficult to see. The experience here has always been fast and pleasant, never with any issues with the cars. I usually get a choice of a couple different cars, all with the bells and whistles I have learned to expect from National, especially on long drives. Great customer service! Definitely recommend!

We rented a car to go upstate, the customer service rep, Winnie, was amazing! She upgraded us at no cost to a better car, that worked out 100 times better for us where we were going. Can t thank her enough!

The process of picking up my car was fast and efficiency. The car was clear. I can return the car 24 hours without additional charge from the parking garage. I used to got to Enterprise on Thompson street, but I will only go to National from now on.

Been renting from here for the last couple months and probably had 4-6 rentals. The first time was mostly positive though my gf had them adjust the initial fuel reading becsuse she thought it was lower and we were a bit worried we'd end up getting nickel and dimed. I can comfortably say now that this has not been the case at all and that they try to make things as smooth and low friction as possible.We now have no problem pulling in, handing over the keys, and just asking for an emailed receipt and not sticking around for the inspection. They also have after hours returns which is great. We made it in once with only a few minutes before close because of really bad Sunday traffic driving back to the city, but were relieved to find out if we hadn't made it, they can accommodate after hour returns.Logstics aside (this place is fairly convenient for us), we make a point of renting from this location now.

Cant believe it, so rude and the staff with his/her superior didnt stop making joke of me (cuz we only had a debit card). Go and rent in budget they had a better service and wont make fun of U. I wont enter in their office trying to rent a car again in my entire life, and will share this with everyone i knew. How is that possible? Yesterday, they had told me that there was no problem renting a car, and today his/her superior was denying everything with a loony smile trying to ruin my trip schedule. She was offering a amtrack...(if u, little chubby negra, had told me since yesterday i would have been taking an amtrack in the morning instead of coming to the airport (v....itch). My family and i went out and rented a car from budget.

I rented this SUV for the purpose of driving 3 hours to Montauk for a triathlon. Unfortunately, it wasn t until I was already on the highway that I discovered a loud screeching noise coming from what sounded to be from one of the tires. There were no lights in the dashboard alerting any sort of issue; regardless, I stopped at the gas station to double check as it did not sound right, but could not identify where it was coming from or how to make it stop. In any event, I had to drive both ways (6 hrs), tolerating the audible nuisance.

I rent from this location almost every week. Very professional team and the managers Luis and Chad are running this operation very efficiently. Highly recommended!
