It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust and who does good work. Manhattan Alignment fits the bill on both counts. They're honest and they do great work.

Amazing service!!! Aaron and the staff at Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic Center had made my experience in dealing with car maintenance a breeze. The team was understanding and easy to work with. Additionally, Aaron was honest and straightforward with costs and reality of the situation I faced with my cars maintenance. If you are in the city and need any level of repair, I can t recommend them enough!!

At Manhattan Alignment, you get quick, reliable and honest service. They are thorough and don t let you go out on the roads with anything unsafe, but they will not oversell you on something you don t need.

I rarely drive into the city but was in the city one day and my car started to overheat. I came across Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic Center and was met by Aaron upon my arrival. He was very friendly and quick to help me out in my time of need and panic. He got his guys to look at my car, diagnose my problem and come back to me with my best options going forward. Aaron was such a big help and really eased my panic at the moment. In the past, I have dealt with mechanics who in my opinion would have taken advantage of the situation I was in but not this place. I would return here for all my auto needs and recommend their services to family and friends.Service: Electrical repair

5 STAR EXPERIENCE. Top tier service! I get anxiety going to car places because I am a woman but Aaron was very nice. He explained everything thoroughly to me and was patient with my barrage of questions. I was in and out in an hour on Saturday morning for an inspection. This team really has respect for their customers and everyone I came into contact with had a polite and pleasant demeanor. Definitely will be recommending to all of my friends and family!

They stand by their work! A rare thing these days. They did my brakes and rotors a few months ago. The other day I brought the car in for something else and mentioned that the brakes were pulsing again like they were before the new rotors were put in. Aaron said we'll replace them as they are guaranteed. And they did! Terrific!

Nathan handled my car's issues from start to finish and was great to work with. I had broken tie rods and a stolen catalytic converter (unrelated). Nathan worked with me and my insurance company to get my claim filled out, and had the car repaired and running perfectly the next day! He gave me a great deal on the labor costs as well and was very understanding of how frustrating it was to have a piece of my car stolen.Fast and trustworthy, I highly recommend these guys!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair

I've been coming here for 6 years after reading the glowing yelp reviews. My experience with all the folks especially Aaron has been fantastic!Aaron is HONEST & an excellent car diagnostician with the fairest prices we've found in Manhattan.Service has always been efficient and with excellence.This visit was for a car inspection and our 2005 car passed but I believe it was because Aaron gave spot on advice in years past to be sure the car was maintained well.Thank you Aaron and all the great staff esp. Nathan saved the holidays this year! Just as we were about to leave for the holidays, we noticed the engine service light was flashing. On the advice of a friend, I brought the car to Nathan who quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it in time before they closed for the holiday weekend (This was the day before Christmas Eve). We were able to visit family for the holidays thanks to him. His prices were also very reasonable. Knowledgeable, honest, and there when you need him. What else could you ask for in a mechanic? This shop is great. I came in for an inspection and failed due to a dangerous brake issue. The owner got me back on the road same day, called to follow up to make sure everything was running ok, and proactively dealt with a warranty issue. Good customer service - friendly and accommodating. They ve definitely made me a loyal customer.

I had a pleasant experience at Manhattan Alignment and Diagnostic Center. My first time at this establishment. I read online reviews and decided to give them a try since they are located at a convenient location for me. I arrived with no appointment. Although calling and scheduling ahead is encouraged on their website.One of the store owners received me and asked what services I needed. I explained my car had a slight vibration around 70mph and that I wanted to find out the cause. After examining and test driving my car he suggested the wheels needed re-balancing. I left the car close to midday and it was ready by 2:45pm. Price was reasonable and service was professional. My car is back to running smoothly on the Turnpike highway! I totally recommend this business.

Best place on the planet, have gone here for 5 years now after living in Washington heights and moving around the city, I am downtown more and will always drive here for any repairs, oil changes, concerns, or anything. Prices are always great, they are straight up with you, Will fix your car quickly, and accommodate you anyway possible. Aaron, George, and Nathan are amazing. As long as I m in the city I ll 1000% be here for anything.

I really appreciated the great service at the Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic Center. I went there based on the good reviews I read after having a negative experience at another nearby car mechanic center. For my first visit, I went for just an oil change and George took care of me. His professionalism was apparent from the moment I met him. He did a full examination of my car and was very thorough explaining to me some of the other issues and my options. During my second visit, Nathan took care of my car with equal professionalism and friendliness. I really appreciated the great customer service plus it seemed they were genuinely concerned with making sure my car was safe for me to drive! I'd recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood.

This is the only place I will bring my car. Finding a mechanic you can trust is hard enough, but one who can also give you great service at a reasonable price is absolute gold.These guys will be thorough, and also 100% honest -- if something can wait, they will let you know, and if it can't, they'll tell you that too. Every time I leave my car runs like a knife through warm butter, you can FEEL how much better everything is.And, to be honest, they give you a piece of mind in many ways that others won't -- you never leave thinking, did I really need that, or did I just get ripped off? I always feel extremely confident about everything they have done, the way they communicate it, and their willingness to go the extra mile. Soo soo kind!! Came here on a humble, I live upstate and I forget that I need an inspection sticker because where I live no one is walking around giving out tickets. I really forgot. They took me after 5pm checked to make sure the car was in good shape for NYS standards and sent me on my way. Professional with a smile, I felt so good giving them my business. The owner lied about what was wrong with my vehicle - trying to charge me $1300 to fix something another shop only charged $300 for. Then he called my personal phone number twice to harass me after I left my last review so that I would take it down. He repaid me the $40 charged for the fake diagnostic that they clearly didn't do so I would take it down. Honestly people should know to not trust this shop, period.For more context: my car had a busted radiator hose. It was immobile. He didn't expect me to get a tow to take it to another shop. He tried to tell me my whole radiator was busted and that my thermostat was out. None of that was true.

This place is as good as it gets. Everyone is always skeptical about mechanic shops taking people for a ride (no pun intended), but these guys are as honest as they come. I have taken my car there now a couple of times and each time they have actually insisted on work that does NOT need to be done and recommendations on how to save money. Aaron, Nathan and George are courteous and respectful. I also like the fact that they called me and updated me on the status of the vehicle and time frame in which it would be ready. Their shop is also very well organized.

Dashboard lights were lighting up like a Christmas tree. Brought the Toyota Highlander in on Tuesday afternoon and it was fixed by the next afternoon. Aaron and his guys did a great job fixing the problem and doing a excellent tune up. A really neat and clean operation. Fair price also. I have used Manhattan Alignment for many years. Sadly we are no longer car owners and will miss bringing our car here for service. Nathan and Aaron and George have always provided excellent service. Could not be better! Friendly, affordable, easy-to-find, and efficient.I needed a state inspection for my car and didn't want to, yet again, go to the dealer where I seem to wait all day and have to deal with traffic to/within/from there. I did a quick search and found MADC, checked the reviews, called, and got an appointment the next day. I asked if they could do an oil change as well and they said no problem.Everything was easy and reliable, I drove right up, met with Nathan, asked how long it would take (he said an hour), and hopped over to Fairway for some breakfast and sat by the Hudson. One hour later, back at the shop, my car was ready, as promised.He even asked if I wanted to have the car washed. I spent a fortune at the dealer for my car, did they ever wash it? Nope. Even though I was already thrilled with the pricing and efficiency, this was a wonderful bonus. And they did more than wash it, it was like they detailed it.Seriously, I didn't want my shoes to touch the now-spotless carpet.

To begin in short summary, I will never have any auto work done by any outfit other than Aaron & Nathan, brothers & owners of Manhattan Diagnostics !I don't know much about cars (I actually travel exclusively in Manhattan by bike) but I now know mechanics! Recently a vehicle I use for travel to my mother's home in Fl. needed work - serious work, as in "too risky to drive". After 3 separate mechanic shops work and their promises it was "good to go" and each followed by subsequent tows (nothing worse than a break down on a long distance road trip! ), I was one step from calling it scrap metal. That's when I brought it to Manhattan Diagnostics.The entire experience with Manhattan Diagnostic Center was top quality: warm professionals, communicative, offering insights & suggestions, thorough diagnosis of the areas of needed work. I green-lighted the work still with trepidation (3 times bitten, 4 times shy), but they proved the other mechanics for the inferiors they were.I drove with a heavy load 1200 miles and back a week later and the vehicle handled as if it was new. While driving on the interstate, I kept blessing the dash board and Aaron & Nathan, and their shop. I will only have auto work done by them ... indeed, I'm thinking of bringing my bike repairs to them too. :)

What you most expect out of great service center is honesty and reliable service. The safety and well being of your vehicle is priceless. But even then price point matters and because this location worked with my budget and was honest about what I really needed the most, I m more then happy to give them 5 stars. My ride has never felt so good!
