I brought my v70 in for an airbag safety recall. I had a message on my dash that has been reading that I have an airbag issue so I figured I better get this done. Volvo did swap the cover on my steering wheel but I still have the message. They quickly dismissed my concern and said that I probably have another airbag issue.I would have thought they may have at least looked at it and advised me on it rather than not say anything and just send me out to my car with the same message on the dash.They would like me to make a new appointment so I can pay a diagnostic fee so they can tell me what is causing the error.It takes about 5 minutes to connect the scanner and see what it is. They got paid 1 hour for swapping the steering wheel cover which took about 15 minutes so you would think they would take a Quick Look.Just like every other dealer out there just thinking about making money for every word they say to you. So sad this is how they operate. It would have been much smarter to do the scan and let me know before I start to leave and then notice I still have the message on my dash.They sent me this survey hoping I would be ecstatic about their great service. Although I was happy to know if the airbag goes off I m not going to have a piece of shrapnel go through me but personally I got the real taste of corporate America and the auto industry just making the motions, not wavering in any way to be an upstanding company and do the scan on something that is clearly related to the airbag I just had work done to. Maybe it is another sensor. Sending me out to drive away without even saying anything is lame.It is a super nice car though. I will most likely find a friend that has access to a Volvo scanner and fix it myself at this point. I will also warn all my friends driving Volvo s to be aware that a dealership is a dealership is a dealership. Never think they are there for you. It is all an illusion. They just want your money and for you to be a bobble head.My service writer Tanya was very nice but obviously just doing her job.Thanks Volvo of the Hudson Valley

A great car shopping experience! I highly recommend Volvo Cars Hudson Valley!! Jim Mansfield patiently and professionally walked me through the specifics of buying a pre-owned vehicle, working within my budget. I never felt any pressure to spend more (something I ve experienced with other car dealers ), nor did I feel rushed in making a decision about which car to purchase.Mindy is fabulous when it comes to the specifics of financing. She offered good advice and she shopped around for the best rate. She was also very nice, very professional and very patient!And thank you to Tyrell for walking me through the mechanics of my new Volvo!Great, honest service from start to finish!

Volvo Cars Hudson Valley did not miss the mark. I had an outstanding experience at Volvo Cars Hudson Valley. It was my first time visiting this location -yet it felt everything but. Having endured recent inclement weather, I wanted to verify the health of our brake pads.Staff members were very welcoming, accommodating, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Hudson Valley s technicians did not disappoint either, they confirmed the remaining life of the brake pads and pinpointed another area of concern, for which they called me for the green light to correct the issue, the vehicle was ready for pickup by end of day.From appointment setting, to loaner, to driving home with peace of mind, the whole process was pleasant -thank you Sue & Candice. An absolute recommend.

I had such a great service visit today at Volvo of Wappingers Falls. I am new to Volvo and didn t know what to expect. The service was extremely thorough and timely. I loved my salesman, Perry. Kind and helpful and never gave up on me. I am not easy when spending that amount of money. Perry explained everything about my car and was really just a nice man. There were not very many options for a used certified Volvo in my area, but we found Hudson Valley Volvo online and they had a good selection of XC60's. We decided to purchase one at Hudson Valley Volvo and it was an easy and seamless process. Meaghan, Mindy and Terrell were all very professional. I would definitely recommend Hudson Valley Volvo, and I would go to this dealership again.

My car had a recall on the airbags, so I was instructed to visit the nearest Volvo location, and found myself here. Sue at the front desk was wonderful! She was quick to wave me over as I opened the door. She explained how long everything would take, and that they had a coffee station and waiting area around the corner. It only took 30 minutes and I was on my way. :)

A series of unfortunate events occurred when I purchased my CPO Volvo S60. I live an hour away but they were the nearest dealer with a good stock of CPO s. So I called to ask about a specific car listed on their website. I spoke with a salesman who answered the phone. Stefan was great. He answered my questions but also took the time to understand what I wanted in a car. We made an appointment for a few days later and he was waiting for me with 5 sets of keys. He explained the differences between each car and was ready to spend the time showing me each one. I asked that he pick his first recommendation and he was 100% on target. It wasn t the car asked for, but it was the one I wanted. I m in love with it and will buy all my Volvos from him. There was a miscommunication issue due mostly to my schedule and hour distance from the dealership. But here s the thing- things can and do go wrong. How a place and people respond to the problem is what counts. And for me they (everyone at the dealership) jumped in to fix it and work it out. They were always friendly and respectful even when I wasn t. That s professionalism. Great Salesperson- thank you Stefan. Great dealership. And a great car that perfectly fits my personality and driving style.

Drove 265 miles to buy a car and I was not disappointed. I bought used car and conditioned of the car matched exactly how Hunter had described over the phone. He took care of all service needed on the car as promised. The whole team Andrea, Stephanie and Terrell were very easy to work with and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely buy again from them, even if that means to drive 4 hours.

The experience I received from Volvo yesterday was absolutely wonderful. My car got a flat tire in a friends driveway, at about 11:30am. Called Volvo, and the girl I spoke with immediately put me in touch with Volvo on call. My car was picked up, brought to the dealer, and I was called by 2:30pm to say it was ready for pick up. I couldn t have asked for better service!

Volvo dealership, what can I say? The staff is great, very kind and welcoming. However l, as a company I m very disappointed that a place I purchased a car from and recommended my sister to also purchase would provide such a terrible service experience.First to call and try to sell service items that are not needed, it s sad. You are Volvo stop trying to up-sell, clearly you didn t check my wiper blades or my air filters before trying to sell me new ones. Then upon paying try to charge a 3% fee if you want to use a credit card? The service is already expensive because it is a dealership we all know but wow with the nickel and dime game. I m buying my next Volvo elsewhere, sorry guys. With such nice staff I m surprised the protocol is to gauge their customers. Unfortunate. Good luck everyone.

I had a 40k mile service, new battery, software and winter tire swap done here and when I drove home I felt like something was wobbly with the car but it stopped after a bit of driving. I let them know the following day as my partner felt the same thing the next day and immediately they drove over an hour to come get the car, leave me a loaner and brought it back later that day after checking and fixing the balancing and realigning everything. It is running very smoothly now. Dan and his team were very professional and courteous and I will continue to have both my cars serviced here for years to come.

Welp, I was leaving work to go to my favorite Volvo dealership sales associate, Stephanie, for an estimate on a trade-in. Now, this next part is the funny part. My car? Yeah, it passed away on the way to Volvo.I had a new car in 20 minutes with the help of Stephanie, the manager (forgot his name, sorry), and the woman who did all of the finance work (forgot her name, sorry) I m awful with names.So, if you re looking for a Volvo, go there, they ll take great care of you! Wow. The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism of the current sales manager, manager, and sales associates. They wasted 6 weeks of my time because they lost the sales manager who was handling my case and never informed me. I only found out when I called a few weeks later to touch base. The sales associate is always giving inconsistent information and rambles on instead of listening to my questions. Every time I called to speak to these salespeople and left a message they never returned the call. They really need to better train and vet the staff because they are extremely disrespectful and will seemingly go out of their way to lose a sale. I went to a lesser brand and received immensely better service. It's a shame that this Volvo and Danbury have gone down the drain.

When the engine seized in my wife s minivan, I was dreading going out car shopping. Hunter and his team were absolutely amazing. There was zero pressure and they gave us an incredible deal on our new Pacifica. I highly recommend them and Volvo will be my first stop when I m looking for my next car!

Greetings! I thought that the service from the Volvo Cars Hudson Valley Team was excellent and an overall 5 Star from start to finish. The team provided excellent customer service before, during, and after by doing the following: reaching out to me by text (an appropriate number of times) to inform me of the need for an oil change; professionally working with me over the phone regarding my schedule and assisting me to finalize the date to drop off the vehicle. Additionally, during the service for the oil change the team noticed that my 60K mile service would be coming due soon; in turn, they reached out to me to ask if I wanted to take care of it right away and I agreed. This saved me time and money. I was so happy about being able to get things done so efficiently. Finally, when my husband picked up my car and brought it home, I immediately noticed that the team ensured that my vehicle was immaculately cleaned inside and out. They even took the time to seal my eZpass device to the dashboard. All points of service was excellent from face to face customer service, vehicle maintenance, and appointment availability. Contacted dealer to put a deposit on a vehicle listed for $27,494. Andrea Pico was unsure how long they would hold the car on a deposit and would call you right back . Never heard from her again. Sent her an email hours later, told the car was on a test drive and she was unsure if it was being purchased. Following day vehicle price was changed to $38,927. Sent an email unhappy about bait and switch. Hunter contacted me, said it was a mistake, said he d work with me and sell me the vehicle for $36,000. Anyone who makes a mistake , should own it and not ghost the customer. Response only came when pressed by email.
