My husband and I always go to our local Valvoline for our oil changes. It s so convenient to just pull up and stay in your vehicle while they complete the oil change. In addition, they also check your oil filter, make sure all your lights work properly and check your tire pressure. They re always friendly while also being quick. We will always go to our local Valvoline for our oil changes.Service: Oil change

So I went and got an oil change everything was good till the tried adding on alacart products without asking. And told me I had an oil cap seal issue when that was not even the issue. It was oil cap smudge. But when asking proper machenics the issue, its due to engine temp not getting up to where it needs to be or temperature was not adequate long enough to evaporate the water /condensation in the cooler parts of the engine. You may see an oily cream in the oil filler cap. This is completely NORMAL. Maybe they should learn there material better and not freak customers out thinking there brand new car will explode.

I had an excellent experience here the other day. I ve been having issues with my vehicle but went for an oil change. The guy showed me so many options of services that could be done because they were due according to car fax. He explained that all of them were optional, how they could increase performance on my car, and even explained that some are not necessary at this time if I wanted to wait awhile. He was extremely thorough, patient, and honest. He did not try to sell me things that weren t necessary. I did a few of the extras and hoped it would help some of the issues I ve been having with my car. I am SO excited to say my car is running beautifully and I and very very happy!! Thank you so much guys!!!!! I will definitely go back when needed.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I am very upset I waited for 50 minutes and that was fine with me totally happens but I was never told if I needed a filter or if it was ok.They never checked my lights at all . Yet checked car in front and behind me.The guy said ok it is 120.00 .Then after I pd he said pull forward my car was off and now my turn signals don't make sound. I never got a receipt to see what they did and never got a sticker on window. They were in too much of a hurry and one side only open. They were closing .I never was treated like this before and always had a good experience there, but I am beyond upset. And I know nothing will be done but 120 pd and nothing else was done and they just can do things like this and don't even care and know they can get away with it.

I can see by your recent poor reviews that this store has problems. I unfortunately had to experience it myself today. I arrived at to find several cars in line and was put in the right side with 2 cars in front of me and one in the bay. I expected to be out in less than 30 minutes which has always been the case previously. Only wanted oil change and filter. I was told by employee that I would be in soon. Two cars proceeded to get moved thru as expected. The one in front of me went in at 10:25am. At 10:45 an employee can out to check my lights to which I said I didn't need that. I asked why the car in the bay hadn't moved yet. Was told it had an oil pan safety cover that was very difficult to remove. Now, this cover on that model car is a piece of plastic or tin with a few screws in it. Doesn't take long to remove. Was told I would be in a few minutes later. I could tell they knew I would like to get going. At this point it was clear they were intentionally taking their time as I was becoming upset at having to wait longer than expected. There was no communication about the delay. Had I known about delays, I would have left, but your store didn't want that. There were approximately 4 employees standing around, didn't appear to be doing much other than talking. 11:00 am came around and the car was still in the bay. They came out again to tell me it would be a few more minutes. Went back inside and I could tell they were yucking it up about me wanting to not waste anymore time. Now they were moving slower. Just talking to each other. They could tell I was unhappy and I said I would leave. Was told, not to as the car was leaving in minutes. At 11:10 am, 45 minutes after the car in front of me went into the bay, it left. It was very apparent as I had told your employees I only wanted an oil change and to leave that they couldn't upsell me on anything. They were then slow walking the process with the car in the bay. More talking with the car occupant and themselves was occurring than work. My own service work took about 10 minutes. They opened the door and told me to go. I ask for a receipt before I left, and was told very rudely they would bring it out to me. I told them I would wait for it in the bay were I was and they yelled at me to get out. Again, harassing me as a customer as no one else had to leave the building to get a receipt. It was another 5 minutes before an employee came out with the receipt. I told him this place sucks and I would never come here again. He laughed and cursed at me, which confirmed they were screwing with me. All in all I was there over an hour for 3 cars in front of me to get serviced. This is not normal and speaks an unhealthy environment at that store. I will never go there again nor will the dozen or so people I've told this to since I left. That store is terrible. Needs a new team or be shut down.... And now there's a leak under my vehicle at the oil plug that was not there before. I expect that they stripped the plug.....Terrible place.Service: Oil change

The people are friendly, professional, and work as a team. I have yet to be disappointed in their services. There is a bit of a wait, but the price for an oil change and convenience is worth it. There's always a coupon available in the app, too. I've paid $50 more where I live for the same services! It's worth the drive and wait time. The longest I've waited is thirty minutes, but I had eight cars ahead of me.

Very friendly, knowledgeable/ well trained and detail oriented, professional, safe and gentle with my investment on 4 wheels.Had us in and out in under .5 hour for a routine oil change and offered us coupons that gave a decent discount for it. Will return again.

During an oil change the ac line in our car was nicked, causing a small hole and damage (after investigation from our mechanic). Upon filing a claim we were told, with no proof, the cars oil was serviced elsewhere thus denying our claim. Truth be, without asking us why the car had gone months between oil changes, its because my daughter was going through Army Basic Training and the car wasn t on the road. When I confronted them we were given the run around, backing us into a corner and not taking any responsibility thus closing the claim. What a great way to treat your customers, and our service members for being so loyal to Valvoline. No longer will we be coming back if their mechanics can t be trusted.Service: Oil change

Absolutely ruined night. This business closes at 6. It says NOTHING about taking their last cars at 530 ! I literally raced out of work and have to be on a flight the following morning. My oil change alert on my car just came on. The day before I have to drive three hours to the airport. I was really counting on the business being open until the time it says it going to be ! Literally thanks for nothing.

Had a very unfortunate experience at this location which is a shame because the employees all seem to be very hard-working nice people. Arrived to get my oil change in my truck and waited for 2 hours just for them to tell me that the truck won't fit in the door with a snow plow in the back. Completely understandable should have thought about it ahead of time and came back two days later without the snow plow in the back. I talked to them before waiting the second time as there was a long line and asked them to confirm that they were able to complete the job and they said yes it will not be a problem this time. I again waited for 2 hours only for them to tell me that they are unable to loosen my drain plug because it is stuck and appears to be too rusty. Very disappointed that I had waited two hours both times. The second time I was very annoyed and went home and the drain plug came loose with a regular 3/8 ratchet and 19 mm socket. The threads were in excellent condition and there was nothing wrong with the oil pan or drain plug . I took a video of this to show the incompetence of the employees. They really should go through some sort of training in order to understand the basics of mechanics. The company should look into some sort of training class for the employees so they are better prepared for oil changes in the future. Ended up changing the oil in my driveway which I should have just done from the beginning . Really is a shame I wasted four hours and two trips to this place. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for the employees.

Guy that was at the computer was just plain creepy. Wouldn t stop trying to flirt with me even after I said out loud that i am very uncomfortable. The other men in the shop were clearly trying to get him to leave me alone and let me leave when the service was finished, as he just continued to attempt to flirt and lean into my car window.Service: Oil change

So from my understanding I was supposed to get my tires checked with air being put in. My tire light pressure is still on and there s no air in my tire.. that will be my last visit and I ll make sure I ll let everyone know.

The staff was friendly and professional but the amount of time I needed to wait was totally unacceptable. I sat in line for 45 minutes before the one employee came out and told me it's going to be an additional half hour becase the car infront of me was getting transmission work done. I was definitely annoyed but said okay that's fine I will wait. If I didn't need the oil change I would have just left. After waiting a total of 1hour and 34 min I was finally brought in. Oil change was completed in a timely matter but in total I was there for 2 hours for an oil change. I had a coupon but even after the coupon it was $60. In all of there advertising you hear quick oil change, but that clearly is not the case. I personally think they should set one bay for quick oil changes and one for other services. I honestly don't know if I will be back just due to having to sit in my car and wait 2 hrs for a service that takes 20 min.Service: Oil change

Tried to get a state inspection, they only do them until 4 pm, which people work until 4 generally. Absolutely terrible policy. I got out of work at 330 and showed up at 3:45 and got in line, there were 6 cars ahead of me. I called and they said they were 2 hours behind. And since I was in line and there were cars behind me I had to get out of my car and ask the cars behind me to back out so I could leave. All around a bad experience.

I went there for an inspection as I've done each year since getting to NY. Unfortunately, they no longer do inspections for whatever reason. Just something to beat in mind if going there for that. I did not get an oil change.

Last year I went to Valvoline to get a scar inspection. On the right was a car being worked on and another car was waiting behind it so I pulled up on the left side where one car was being worked on. A woman came out and asked me to trade places with the car on the right that was waiting. I expressed that I had never been asked to do that on the past and would not trade places. She got the manager who insisted move. He and was very rude.Je told me he would not wait on me.We argued and then said he was not going to wait on me even after I moved.

Update: the man I am talking about. His name is Tom. Very rude to the new employees infront of customers.I m not one to write reviews but I hope this one gets noticed. Iv gone to this location quite a bit and have typically had a nice experience. This time there were some people training. I m patient, it s not a big deal. The man working on my car was named Rob in bay 2 with blue hair, he was training and doing a fine job. I over heard the other men talking about how they are training and I saw who was maybe the supervisor standing at the computer, doing nothing, signal at Rob aggressively saying he needs to go. Like quit. I wasn t very impressed. That s very poor workmanship and I m embarrassed for Rob and the maybe manager . I felt bad immediately and feel like there is bullying going on at this site.Service: Oil change

Let me start off by saying that the employees here are awesome. Very kind, very helpful and very sincere. My issue was apparently a previous oil change with them. I pulled into the bay today and after about 20 minutes of them working on my car, it became clear that they could not empty out the old oil because during the previous oil change I had done with them, one of their employees stripped the bolt so badly, it would not release this time. Again, they were very nice and even told me it was their own doing by checking when my last oil change was and seeing it was recent enough that it was consistent with them being responsible for it. They stated that they also didn t have the proper tool to release it since I was driving a Mazda and it would need a special wrench or key, which they usually have but tend to lose.. They were only able to change my oil filter and let me go afterward with an apology. Now I have to hunt down a place that will take care of the situation, which apparently was their fault..Mixed feelings about coming back. I need new parts for my car because of this and It s obviously going to cost me..Service: Oil change

This is the first review I ve ever left on google but just had to. Went there on a Tuesday with my Santa Fe which takes some type of special oil. They said they didn t have it in stock and to come back Thursday ; that s fine I totally understand . Thursday comes and I get there; the first thing I ask is do you have the correct oil and filter for this vehicle bc when I was here Tuesday you did not ; worker comes back and confirms they DO have the oil and filter and to proceed. I wait for 45 minutes and get to the front of the line; a worker says pop your hood I gotta check on something i pop my hood oh sorry man we don t have this oil I ve already had to turn back 2 cars with the same issue doesn t offer me a discount on a future service or anything just sends me on my way. I then proceed to call afterwards and discuss with a manager about the situation. I call give a worker my number and never receive a call back. I would STAY AWAY and go to a mom and pop shop that will treat you right and actually care.

I want to give a higher rating, but a cannot. I am currently in line, for the second time today. I checked the wait time through their phone message. 20 minutes. It was not 20 minutes on my first trip, as I drove off an hour an 15 after arrival, with at least another hour of vehicles in front of me... oh and with no service! So here I am in line again, 20 minutes have elapsed. There are still 5 cars ahead of me. The low rating is because totally because of the "estimated wait time". It is a bold faced lie. I ask a technician if they (at the local business) had the ability to change the wait time response. They don't! It is controlled at their head office- in Kentucky. Seriously, how does the Kentucky office know what the wait time is in Endicott, NY? Twenty five minutes have elapsed; a technician was kind enough to inform me that I have another 45 minutes of wait time. Wow!

Stay away. $575 headache. They won't pay for damage.Had an oil change and they stripped the pan. They tried to put in a larger plug but it still leaked.Sent me to Binghamton store and they put in a bigger plug. Still leaked and went back to the Vestal store and the Manager told me to go to Monroe Muffler over by Wegmans they have a bigger plug.Went and they put in a plug and still leaks.I put in a claim to Valvoline corp and was just informed by the different co-manager in Vestal that his notes show it was fixed when I left the Binghamton store. They watched the Camara and the tech didn't do anything wrong. Reading other post they use this a lot. No way the Camara saw the oil plug through that little opening in the protective coverHe said that by going to Monroe they were last to touch my van and Valvoline isn't liable.Crazy they sent me to Monroe. I didn't pay Monroe, was told that they would bill Valvoline.

What a great place. The people are really polite and so helpful. My car is how I survive. I was devastated when I found out my car would never pass inspection. They were so helpful and kind that it really made the experience a little better. I could tell they felt really bad and offered me some discounts on the other work I was having done to make it a little better.. So glad there are still places like this.
