Great customer service and attention to detail!! I had a small job I wanted to get done and Hillcrest Carstar was the only one that would even look at it. They did a phenomenal job! Paint matched a difficult color with no code and it came out terrific! Very quick and thorough. Corey was super helpful and made the whole thing easy!! Thanks!!

Carstar Collision is a TOP NOTCH repair shop, there needs to be a 10 star rating for them, five stars isn t enough, EXCELLENT WORK with GREEEEEEEEATTTTTT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Carstar did an amazing job fixing up my car. They color matched it perfectly and kept me updated on every repair they were making! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. I had a great experience thanks to their hard working staff!

From the front office staff through the garage, everyone who assisted in repairing my Jeep was knowledgeable and helpful. Anna was a great asset in keeping me updated throughout each step of the process and I was pleasantly surprised when she called to tell me that the repairs were finished ahead of the expected completion date! I can t thank you all enough! My Jeep looks brand new and I love that your staff took the time to clean the interior for me as well

Great service, friendly people, conveniently located close to the Vestal Parkway East. Only had my rental 8 days as my vehicle was finished 3 days sooner than expected. Top notch - car looks brand new for a 2016.

I ve never experienced this before but my car ended up being a total loss, but they referred me over to enterprise and they helped me to get a rental car. So between both places I would say they were very helpful. Here are pictures I was hit from behind where my trunk would not close & as you can see it was the driver side that got hit & all underneath was rusted out & the suspension break was hanging down so when the appraisal guy looked at it, that s when he said there was nothing they could do and again it was a total loss and I only had the car for two months. But all in all between the two places again, they were very helpful.

They did a great job fixing up the car! They were nice people as well. My issues were the lack of communication. I was told it would be done in 4 days which then was changed to a 10 days, then 11 then finally got the car back 12 days later. And I get it they have been extremely busy but I was the one that had to keep calling and asking for the updates. Just bad costumer service if you can t keep your clients informed. Especially since your clients are either working with having one car for that amount of time or a rental.

Had a person back into my car and left a huge dent next to my drivers side door. Carstar got me scheduled quick and arranged a rental. When they were done they let me know. It looks like it never even happened. My BMW they took excellent care of it and brought it back to pristine condition. Thanks Carstar excellent job.

They staff were courteous and efficient and were able to work around my crazy schedule to repair my vehicle. What had the potential to be a very stressful situation, actually was not. I am very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend Hillcrest CARSTAR to my friends and family.

Extremely happy with my truck repair, the workmanship and quality of the repair is impeccable. The status alerts throughout the process was a pleasant surprise, especially the one saying my repair was complete well ahead of schedule. Anna was great to work with and I will be returning for all future repairs.

They did a beautiful job on the body work of my car. Looks like new again! Gorgeous job. Thank you!!!! However, the car was not driving properly, pulling severely to the left because of the deer impact by the drivers side front wheel. I told them when I initially called, my husband told them when he took the vehicle there to leave it, I asked about it several times when I called for updates and was assured each time that they would look at it during their repair process. I even asked about it when we picked it up. We were told they didn't do an alignment, but if there was any problem to give them a call. Fast forward to pickup, 5 weeks later, it looked amazing and they even vacuumed out the inside! I was delighted to have my car back..... For about 10 minutes until I got on the highway and tried to go 70 mph. The car immediately pulled severely to the left. Again. Nothing had been fixed with that. Called the next day and they said to bring it back and they'd take a look. They did and did an alignment which greatly helped!!! I appreciate their willingness to do that, but if they'd just have done that when I asked, my husband wouldn't have had to drive another 45 miles one way back up there or take another 2.5 hours of time from work to wait for them to do the alignment. Again beautiful work, Anna was very helpful with updates by text and nice when I spoke with her on the phone. Just wish they would have fixed everything while they had the vehicle there the first time. Then I could have given 5 stars. Thank you for making my car look wonderful again!

This place has terrible customer service! I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone unless you want to be scammed. They would not let me view the estimate for my truck until I repeatedly argued with them. I was told to pick it up on a certain day, returned my rental car and then my truck was not finished at all. Nobody had contacted me to let me know that it was not finished. Then they called me a week later to let me know it was finished, but it still was not. They never fixed my exhaust issue and we're not going to tell me until I brought it up. They tried to steal my tonneau cover, and didn't replace the rim like they were supposed to. I would suggest that if you're going to take your vehicle here that you bring and experienced person with you to look over the repairs or you might almost get scammed too.

They were excellent t with communication about the process. They kept me in the loop about where my car was in the process all the way. When I picked up my car it had been detailed inside and out. It smelled and looked brand new. We will definitely use th in the future if we need to have any sort of auto body repair.

The more you look at the repair, the worse it gets. 2019 WRX was in to fix a cell phone size scrape on the bumper.Upon return of vehicle, the bumper was poorly fitted, leaving gaps and wide seams between bumper and fenders. While inspecting, found old fasteners re-used and a bolt cross threaded and not fully fastened to hold the bumper in place.I immediately addressed this, and Anthony Oleksza instantly denied any responsibility, and claimed pre-existing damage due to some scrapes beneath the bumper he saw - at which at no point of service was this ever mentioned.The entire experience had been poor, lack of communication, no attentiveness to job procedures, additional repair time from 2 days to 8 days, use of aftermarket parts instead of OEM Subaru.Vehicle wasn't ready at scheduled pick up time, and they had to "Find someone to put on the bumper, because they didn't know where their tech was".I arrived at the scheduled pickup time 4:15pm 10/7/2022 to find bumper was not on the car, however, Anthony found a few techs to quickly put on the bumper and rinsed off the car within 40 minutes before handing me the keys.The paint work is lack luster as well, looks like they simply painted over all debris on the bumper.The owners should be embarrassed that their team delivered such lack luster work quality and ethics to their customers.Stay.away.from.this.place.

Hillcrest Carstar is the best place to go for car repairs. My car was dealt with efficiently and in a better time frame than expected. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. They kept me updated on progress so I knew daily the status of the repairs being done. I highly recommend this establishment.

Staff was very courteous and professional. We were kept properly informed of the progress, and when it was finished. With white being a very hard color to match we were very pleased with the end result. Based on what we see, we would definitely take our vehicle there again for repairs if needed.

I had an amazing experience using Carstar s services. My car had been hit pretty hard in an accident which crushed in my rear driver door and made it unusable and needed to be replaced along with the frame having to be cut and a new piece welded in. Carstar s repair services kept me in touch throughout the entire repair process and was easy to contact them about any concerns. My main concern before repairs was about the soul red crystal metallic paint on my Mazda and whether or not they would be able to match that 3 stage paint well. The end results looked like nothing ever happened to the car and the paint was matched perfectly I also appreciated the cleaning they did before I picked up the carServices: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

I was very satisfied with all the work that they did. It took a long time to get apart for my car which was a quarter panel. That wasn't their fault. It was just very hard to find a quarter panel. Once they got the quarter panel they had my car back together in no time. I want to thank Tommy and anybody else that kept me updated through Messages on how close it was to the finish. I would recommend anyone that needed work done go to Car Star's. The only thing you have to consider is parts. They are hard to come by. So if you think that they are not doing their job, it's not the case. They are looking for parts for your car. Some people have been waiting 6 months to a year or more for a part. So I can say if they can get your part they will work 100% to get it done. And keep you up to date.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Hiklcreqt CARSTAR did a fantastic job on my vehicle repair. I especially appreciated the text option for updates as to where the vehicle was as it moved thru the repair process. All staff were also extremely polite and went above and beyond. I am so glad we selected them for our repair job! A+ !!

Horrible experience. Used aftermarket parts to fix new car even though factory parts readily available. They did not fit properly and popped apart. Insurance company made them fix it. Chipped my windshield in the process and did not fix it. Had to file another claim to get it fixed separately. Took longer than expected by several days to put the poor quality parts on then days to fix it when I brought it back. Found pieces/garbage in my car when I picked it up - broken plastic, metal stripping, and a piece of metal. They didn't even clean up after themselves. Will never use them again. Another family member had similarly poor experience with them.

Very happy with my experience at Hillcrest Carstar in Vestal. Easy drop off procedure. They texted me every day about the progress of my repair and finished in a reasonable time. My door looks brand new!

After waiting a month to get an appointment, we were told 3 days to replace bumper. We dropped our Jeep off as scheduled on October 3rd. We picked it up complete on November 10th. On October 23rd we were told they forgot to order some parts.We spent $994 on car rentals on top of a deductible.I will never go back.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My truck was horribly damaged on the pass side as a result of someone running a red light and I didn t think it would ever be the same again, but thanks to Anthony and a great team of body shop experts, I am happy to say that I have it back and I am so excited that it wasn t totaled

I took my vehicle in for repairs after I hit a deer. :(. After receiving the estimate, they kept me updated every step of the way on the progress. And, they had it ready to go FIVE days ahead of the estimated completion date! They did a fantastic job, it looks absolutely perfect.
