These ppl are the worst, falsely diagnosed the car, took car elsewhere and car was able to get fixed and pass inspection, requested refund cause they charged crazy amount never fixed the issue, owner called and started yelling, very poor customer service 0 stars, don't go here waisting your time and money..

Maugeris is the place I always go because of the friendly atmosphere and when they work on your car you know it will be done right. Mike the owner is the greatest because he is always willing to help you

I do not recommend this auto repair shop. I had called to make an appointment to have my vehicle worked on and told time and date to drop off ( 9am) which I did, advised it would be 1-2 days before the vehicle would be looked at, which I was fine with. However after five days of no update no return calls, I returned to pick up my vehicle as it had not even been looked at, it was parked across the street from the repair shop. Both times that I called to check status I was told that parts were being reviewed/ backed up?? No clue what that meant not good business practice, if you need work done on your auto I strongly recommend you read the reviews, which I failed to do so.. AAA listed them so I went with that. Great inconvenience as I went 6 days without an update/ car..

My dad is a mechanic of 40 years and when my truck suddenly wouldn t start while he was many miles and states away we both kind of panicked. (Me much more than him) Luckily I was able to get it towed to Maugeri s and they were amazing and super helpful. It was a minor fix and in reality didn t take much work to get started again. While they could have charged for having my truck for a few days and for taking a look at it at all, they didn t. The owner Chris is a really great guy and his employees are great too. They re super honest and he said he wouldn t want his kid to be stuck in a situation like mine without help so it was no problem at all. I appreciated this so much and I know if I have any issues in the future I d be in good hands here. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. You have been forewarned. Your car can be perfectly fine. They find clever ways to cause damage so it's not noticed right away, people bring their car right back. Very good at what they do!! Iv brought multiple cars there to get fixed, excellent painters!! Tommy always fits me into his busy schedule when I need to get in, always available when I need my cars detailed as well! Keep up the good work, nice to have a garage you can trust!

These folks are awesome! Our windshield wiper stopped working on our first day of vacation. The first place we stopped couldn t be bothered. These folks took us right in and had the job done in record time, even though they had to order the part. Very friendly. We are very thankful to be on our way so quickly!!

We've gotten tires patched here before and were thrilled about pricing and location (5 minute walk from our house). So when we heard a noise, our 1st thought was to take it here. What a joke. #1 They did an initial inspection and declared it was the bearings giving us that problem. We said ok, brought it it in. After opening her up, it was discovered we needed brakes and rotors, but the price they quoted was not feasible at the time. After many calls and negotiations, we agreed to brakes and bearings, and we'd have to come back for the rotors. They gave us a quote that was mutually agreed upon. Lo and behold my wife goes in to pay and its OVER $130 more than they quoted us. Not because complications or extra work, but because the guy who quoted didn't know what he was talking about. They charge a flat rate apparently of $80 per job so bearings plus brakes meant $160 in labor plus parts. Another older gentleman was there to pick up his car and was ripping the staff a new one for apparently the same "misquote".As if that wasn't the icing on the cake, here we are 2 weeks in and our radio has been fritzing since day one. Never had an issue a day in its life before, yet now it won't stop scanning our presets, switching between AUX and AM, and as of this morning its stuck on the display of "TELEPHONE " and won't even power off. Do NOT go here.Service: Brakes

save your money, please don t go to this place. They are very greedy and always over charged the customers. I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy Mike is one of the most dishonest people you'll ever meet money hungry. I had my car there from November of 2019 to October 2020 just sitting there couldn't fix it but kept BS me around long story short he did nothing to it except removing axles and a part that i paid for that wasn't even it and ended up charging over $500 stay away from them.

Complete rip off. Took vehicle to repair oil pan and diagnose a sputter. They had it over a month. Finally called to inform that it was fixed . Paid over $1,300 to drive down the road and 3 miles later it broke down and shut right off. Call the shop and they informed it would be another $200 to tow it back to their garage.

They are a total rip off, Mike one of the owners is very unprofessional! I had my car towed there for a diagnostic and they charged me 1,300$ and still did not fix the problem my car still does not start and but says they did engine repair for 16 hrs and the job only calls for 8 hrs. I m in the process of filling court papers now. I highly recommend you Do Not Go Here!Service: Engine repair

awesome customer service. Called in to get a price on a tuneup and he was such a sweetheart and provided me with all the information. Another thing I love is that he actually took the time to dive deeper into making sure that a tuneup is what was needed. I love it. Great job:)

Best mechanic experience of my entire life. Everyone is helpful, informative, and knowledgeable while keeping a friendly energy going. They know what they're doing and they're upfront throughout the whole process. I'll never take my car anywhere else!

This is the place for all your automotive needs. I cannot say enough great things about this place and if I tried it would take days to write them. Prices are incredibly reasonable and most of the time inexpensive. No matter the work to be done from a light bulb to a valve job they have you covered. We have had both our cars here for serious repairs and they both came out excellent and price is shocking for amount of work they do. Definitely recommend this location for anything your car or truck needs, and they also have a collision shop to fix those dents and dings. Well I've said enough I mean hands down best automotive repair shop within 50 miles of Utica hands down. Don't wait get on down there and get that car repaired.

We are deeply grateful for Marguerite's and John's caring and swift repair of my three-week old tire.We were in Utica to clean out my Dad's house for sale, and were ready to return to Boston with a completely packed vehicle when we discovered a screw in the rear tire - we would never have made it home. I was also worried about damage to the tire since I had only bought the 2018 Sportage three weeks earlier. Although we no doubt sounded panicked when we called, Marguerite was terrific explaining the location of Maugeri's Auto Repair, and John immediately worked on the tire when we arrived and quickly repaired it.We are so thankful!

Mike and Tom Maugeri are the best. They care about keeping you on the road, and at a very fair price. Some of the techs working at Maugeris have been with them for decades, unheard of in the auto repair business. Try them out for your next repair, you will be glad that you did.

Do not bring your car into these guys. I brought my car in for a clutch repair. My AC sprung a leak shortly after. Brought my car in to get AC fixed. Two days later a hoose disconnected from my turbo. Dealer said someone did not tighten the turbo hoose. I asked around people in Utica they have had similar problems with this shop. Rushed in after work at 3:45 without an appointment for a mount and balance of 4 winter tires and they immediately made accomodations for me! Fantastically prompt and willing to go the extra mile.

This place is a complete and utter ripoff. One of the employees here, a Mr. Richard Beckwith, sold my husband and I a vehicle from this business with a guarantee and in good faith only for it to break down three weeks later and for us to find out it is literally unrepairable. These men are con artists and will do anything to take your money and charge you the most unbelievable prices for subpar work. There is no guarantee behind their products and their labor and you will find yourself in a worse position after handing over your cash to these men than when you started. I have never had such horrible customer service nor met such questionable employees in my entire life. This is the definition of a scam and these men are anything but honest. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS.

So glad I could wait over a week after calling and talking on the phone and being given a day to drop it off that I can be denied upon walking in even after all of this. I just wanted a decent auto shop but I guess thats not happening.
