My 19 year old son had a truck hitch fly into his front end while driving back to Long Island from upstate. He called to see if Village Auto could take a look at it and they told him, come on by right away. They made sure that the car was safe to drive it home and secured the headlight etc. I really appreciate that they helped him out. This was a pretty scary moment for him to have something come out of nowhere on a highway and Village Auto Center came through. Thank you!!

My sister and I were traveling from my son s wedding in New Hampshire when a caliper bracket bolt fell out. After getting towed to a parts store I was able to purchase a new bolt. Thank God for the tow truck driver as he had tools that we used. After staying the night in East Syracuse we went to Village Auto Service Center just to have them put it on the lift and make sure nothing else was loose. We fully expected to pay for the service but got a surprise when Steve said no charge. If I lived in the East Syracuse area this would definitely be my shop! I highly recommend them.

I was looking for a new shop after getting tired of my old shop and found Village auto service very close to my home. I m very particular with who works on my car but Steve and the team and been nothing but great! Very trustworthy professional mechanics with fair prices. They take care of your vehicle like it s their own and they do great work. I won t bring my Miata or Hyundai to anyone else anymore. Highly recommend Steve and his team at Village auto service!

We were en route to New Jersey and our check engine light came on. We were looking for a mechanic who could diagnose the problem. Steve met with us right away and diagnosed the issue and explained the root cause of the problem. He informed us that the issue did not require immediate repair and it was safe for us to continue the journey. He was honest, patient and friendly, and furthermore we were very touched that he didn t charge us for his services. We are very thankful for Steve s help, which gave us piece of mind, and we would highly recommend his shop to others. Thank you very much Steve for your great service. It was a pleasure meeting you. Village Auto Service was fantastic. Above all else, they were honest and forthcoming with their analysis as to what was wrong with my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. They were able to fit us into their repair schedule due to a cancellation and repaired the car earlier than expected. Their labor and parts were reasonably priced, and they did not attempt to "up-sell" us additional work on the car that was not needed (things I can't say about the Subaru dealership I went to). Village Auto Service replaced the Control Arm, the Stabilizer Bar, and the Axle Shaft Assembly. No one likes having to fix their car, but if one has too, Village Auto Service is the place to do it at. 10/10. Would recommend it to anyone.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment

Village Auto was able to fit me in super last minute when my exhaust broke in half and I can t believe how fair their repair price was compared to my quote from Subaru.The repair itself was fast and my car has been running excellent, I ll definitely be getting all my maintenance done here from now on!Service: Exhaust

My son attends a college in Syracuse, and was having problems with his transmission. I researched auto repair businesses and contacted Village Auto about my son s car problems. I set up an appointment with Steve who was prompt and professional. Village Auto repaired my son s car for more than a fair price. These guys are definitely decent, fair minded men who run a reputable business. I highly recommend them!Service: Transmission

Steve and his guys are great...they are attentive, and do not try to upsell you every time, they will make you aware of things that need to be done, and help you to prioritize jobs to best fit your budget and the well being of your vehicle. I have been in this business before, and appreciate the professionalism of this crew.

Steve and his team are consummate professionals. I know that isn't often used to describe mechanics, right? Here's another one: HONEST. My girlfriend and myself moved here from Florida 5 years ago. We are currently a paycheck to paycheck household. Thus far we've depended on "cash cars" for transportation; these cars are rarely in good condition, usually heavily rusted. Steve has always been honest about any problem we've taken to him, told us if a repair could wait a month or two so we could save the money for the repair, versus being flat broke until the following paycheck. These guys have integrity; if you go there, you will be a customer for life.
