Been here multiple times and every member on this crew is courteous, pleasant and efficient. They get you in and out as fast as possible and explain what they're doing every step of the way. I've done oil changes, tire rotations and inspections. A positive experience every time, from the moment you drive up to the wave goodbye. Keep up the excellent customer service!

All technicians were friendly and very efficient. They say oil change in 15 minutes and that's the truth. They make sure they show any and all filters that need to be replaced. Very happy with the service here.

Quick and Excellent Service! Reliable and humble staff. They don't push you to buy something that you really don't need. Excellent suggestions and more importantly, you don't even have to leave your car.Also, they provide discounts for students and millitary personnel.

Normally I have good experiences here. I've literally shown up 4 times to get an inspection and each time it's during the hours they tell me their inspector is there. Well guess what, he/she is never there!!!! I even called last time and they said that the inspector was there until 2. Got there at 12:30 and nope, not there. I work a lot and am gone every weekend so this is supposed to be my most convenient option. Guess not.

I usually do business here for all of my oil change needs, but today went for both an oil change and an inspection. I called first like required and they informed that they were doing them from 8am- 2pm. I went at 9am and there were a few people ahead so the guy said come back at noon and if the space is open we will do it. I said when I called they said they were doing them until 2pm and he said yes. So I go back at noon and the guy (a different guy) said how long is the wait for an inspection. A lady yells we are no longer doing them. If a business sets hours I think they should follow them especially since I confirmed the hours MORE THAN ONCE. The sign saying they were doing inspections was still out as well. They are good for oil changes, but they shouldn't offer inspection services.

Very disappointed in this place. I went 3 different times to try to get my car inspected. 1st time they said it was 2 and a half hour wait, mind you that there were only 2-3 cars at the time that were just doing oil change, just to come find out that it was because they stop inspection at a certain time. Did not mind it since I was getting oil change anyways. 2nd time I went the machine for inspection was down so i said ok just come back another time. Now third times the charm right? NO! Got to the location 30 mins after 9. I park where it says wait here for inspection, gentleman comes over and says it ll be about an hour and to park where I was. There were 2 ahead of me for inspection/oil change. 10 mins later another gentleman comes over and says I can t park there because there is someone else ahead of me who is doing a combo and needs to park in the same spot. Mind you this person is on the oil change line and has another car ahead of them, so give or take they would be done within 30 mins. I ask where can I park, gentleman says sorry there is no parking spots, spots are for employees only, while there are 3-4 empty spots rather than let me park for an hour at most to wait, tells me to come back later. If I come back later someone else would most likely be ahead of me and I ll be in the same loop again. A lady with short hair comes over and says this is the busiest location you can go to another location. I told her I live less than 5 mins away why would I drive 15 minutes when I am willing to wait the hour. She basically brushes it off. It s insane like they didn t want my business at all. Instead of accommodating me somehow basically push me out the location. I am a very patient person but after talking to the gentleman and lady and me trying to come up with a solution myself I decided to leave. Some of the staff are not in the same page at this location and its very frustrating. They have lost my business at this point at-least this location and it sucks because they are so close to where I live and would be very convenient. Will be taking my business somewhere else.

Very quick and friendly at this location.From my most recent experience...I forgot the techs name, (I'll add as an edit if I can think of it!) but upon showing me the air and cabin filters, I joked that I was thinking about it while waiting in line that I had forgotten to change them since last time. Now, usually I will replace them myself from the auto parts store, but be quickly reminded me that with the Groupon for the oil change, I got another 20% off (which essentially is the markup they charge) and I wouldn't have to worry about forgetting again!Appreciate the service and will definitely be back again!

Fast and excellent service! I went on a busy afternoon and was told 15-20 minute wait, while it ended up being only 5 minutes. The customer service here was outstanding. Shannon and Brian were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient! I appreciated their honesty in my cars needs, and didn't feel pressured to purchase extra services. I am from out of state and I was pleased to receive such outstanding service!

Good, quick, service at an affordable price depending on how knowledgeable you are with cars. They're always friendly and inviting but if not careful they'll try to take advantage of you. My first experience I had speedy dry put in my cabin air filter that I just replaced and offered a replacement for 3x the cost that I payed. I cleaned it out and gave them the filter back to put in and gave the business one more shot. The next time I went and showed them I knew my way around a vehicle they, again, did a good job but I found things that troubled me enough to give a 4/5. If you need an oil change or inspection that you didn't plan ahead for, this place will help, but I would strongly recommend finding a mechanic you trust. While hard to find an excellent mechanic, it saved me money heartache over the long term. #GoodInAPinch

You can't go wrong with this Valvoline. The service is great. Very prompt. They'll check whatever you ask them to and you'll be off in no time.I've only been there for brief checkups. Their garage is pretty big though so I assume that they can do all sorts of things. Probably whatever you need done.Plenty of workers there who will immediately help out and do what they can to get you going.Overall I would definitely recommend it for basic vehicle upkeep at least. I assume that they do far more than that what as I said, I haven't used those services so I can't confirm.

*woman friendly auto business*I can t explain enough how important it is as a female to have other women working on my car. There s been many points in my life where I felt that I was being taken advantage of the auto industry, in contrast to when I m being taken care of at this garage and there are several female employees that are very considerate with their communication style and considerate of my knowledge base of my car (or lack thereof). When I leave this garage I feel very respected and well taken care of.

Slowest workers ever. Laughing, talking, standing around. Not working. Line builds up to west genny. Get paid for working faster?? ooooooo. People look hung over. Slurring his words. Can I check your vin??? Wow just wow. Fairmount looking and acting more like Syracuse, straight trash service. Go to a local mechanic. Price is the same and better faster service. Actual real service. You lost 20 year customer. Good job great service. The thing is mangers and owner doesn't ever care. This is a true embarrassment for yourself.

Awesome customer service, the crew were attentive to their profession. Great sense of humor and great savings on oil change hope other maintenance services prices drop or have promos to use. I love to save money.

Some time ago I went for an oil change , and then a month or so later found out that oil cap is missing, I went back to the shop and they did not want to take responsibility. More recently, did a normal oil change and then discovered that my car is leaking oil, it took me awhile to realize it because the car is relatively new, I did not expect it. I went back to the shop they did not want to talk to me, all I wanted them to do look at oil filter and see if may be the gasket is leaking or something simple like that. In addition they waste your time taking apart your filter and other things trying to sell you something.Service: Oil change

Expensive but fast. Time is money and they save you time. Unless there is a line then you don't save time or money. They try to tell you you need an air filter even if you replaced it 5 seconds ago. Overall it's quick and I don't like dropping my car off at places or going put of my way. The price is worth the convenience factor.

Very fast and efficient place. They also gave me discounts since they had to do more work on my car and a student discount on top of that. Very knowledgeable about their jobs plus some. Highly recommend getting your oil change here, especially if you are a student (bring your ID!)

Maybe I just have bad luck but I ve had 4 consecutive negative experiences at this place and I do not plan on going back.Visit #1 (11/18/2020): Asked for a state inspection. They said they ran out of stickers so they couldn t do one. I decided to just get my oil changed. They offered to fill my tires as part of the service but managed to actually deflate one of my tires and lose a cap on another tire. I had to go back that same night to fill the tire and replace the cap on the other tire.Visit #2 (11/23/2020): Asked for a state inspection. Wait time was over 1 hour so I left.Visit #3 (11/30/2020): Asked for a state inspection. I was told there was a glitch in the scheduling system and that their only inspector was scheduled to leave within the next 30 minutes... but that they had too many cars ahead of me needing an inspection that by the time it was my turn he would ve been gone. Was told to come back the next day at the same time because the inspector will definitely be here and I should have no problem at all getting an inspection. Visit #4 (12/01/2020): Came back at the same time as the previous day and asked for a state inspection. I was told the inspector left at 12:30 today and might be in tomorrow but I don t know. The idea of this last minute instant service is a great one but this specific place doesn t do a great job of executing it. Unless you have literally no other options, I would recommend going elsewhere.Services: Tires, Oil change

Not sure if they were having a bad day today, but the team members I interacted with today, particularly in the middle of the day, were very rude. My colleague has left her car at this location multiple times to be serviced; we work right next door. I myself did this last year for a NYS inspection. This time I was told no, we don't let you leave your car here. I pointed out that I work right next door, and that my colleague does this, and they were not willing to take my car in for a drop-off inspection. Fast forward to mid-day, I went to take a place in line, and a gentleman(? he was not gentle) asked me what I wanted to have done. When I stated I NYS inspection, he said they aren't doing any more that day, to go to another Valvoline or come back another day. Somehow I think that this is inconsistent with the business model of this chain. The way I was treated makes me not want to patronize this location again, even for an oil change. Also, I was in 3 weeks ago for an oil change in this location, and despite all the safety checks and the attempts to up-sell, no one mentioned the expired inspection sticker. I was told today that they do not inform drivers about this - I think this is silly in light of all the up-selling the associates do.

Went in today for an oil change and was really impressed with the level of promptness and professionalism. There is a good, young team working here and they are very friendly and helpful in explaining different options and service needs. I was in and out in 15 minutes and I will absolutely be back again.

Not complete on giving recommending other services. Don't grease your grease fittings. On the back of your receipt there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee. They never mention top off policy 3 months 3000 miles etc.

Before going to this location I called and checked the wait time. The machine said there was no wait.. upon arriving (5 minutes later) I was in a line. I was advised after already waiting roughly ten minutes it would be an additional ten minutes. Thirty minutes later it was time for me to pull in.. I have a modified and lowered car. The tech told me it s not gonna happen because my car is to low, I asked if I could pull in from the other side because I have enough clearance in the front. Rather than trying to work with me I was told to go to a different location. At this point I ve invested about an hour of my time and didn t have time to wait in line again at the other location. Most of my frustration from this stems from not being made aware that I might not be able to get into the bay. If you have any question of ground clearance don t even try, they won t even attempt to work with you. *Note that I have enough clearance to go over any speed bump I ve encountered.

I've always gotten my oil changed at the dealership however today I was in a hurry so I decided to tryout Valvoline. It was a fantastic experience and I was in and out within 15minutes. Morgan was great and the other staff was awesome as well I had a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Waited to get a oil change for over a hour. Watched the guy inside put some rims in in the incorrect pattern when bolting them back down. Seen him punch the tire to take it off and run it against the car when he tried to put it back on. Crazy. After I seen him doing the bolt pattern all wrong I left. I don't need my car tire falling off down the road and killing my family. No thank you!!

Went twice for an inspection and oil change. Said, "they ran out of inspection stickers and we don't know when we will have them in." How do you not know? Also, they said I should call ahead. I did that and surprise, surprise...THEY DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE! But the lovely on-hold message that I listened to for 20 minutes reassured me that Valvoline was a place that you didn't need an appointment. Which was exactly what I was told to do. Don't offer inspections as part of your list of services if you have no intention of honoring them. Don't say call ahead if you you have no intention of answering your phone. Don't say call ahead when your on-hold message is going to repeatedly say that you don't have to.

Flat out liars at the Fairmount location- only want to do oil changes and upsell on air filter nothing else. Lied to my face about not being able to do an inspection-Always issues at this location and not the others. Left and went to the Erie Blvd location in Syracuse- they took care of my inspection and know customer service. I m frustrated with Fairmount and will only go to Erie boulevard, I suggest you do the sameService: Oil change

These guys are always so helpful and friendly! I was embarrassed to go here just to get my tires filled with air. But they were very professional, filled me up and sent me on my way.
