This is my favorite one so far , I've been to a couple locations in Syracuse that couldn't find my transmission dip stick and sent me away to the dealership to buy one. These guys knew exactly where it was checked my transmission and sent me on my way. I really appreciate how patient and informative the visit was.

They put the oil filter on wrong. I am calling corporate tomorrow as the very next day the oil light came on and I want to have the dealer make sure the engine is not wrecked. Mavis took 5 guys to get the filter off because it was cross threaded. Oil was all over the under carriage.They may be quick and nice but go somewhere else.I called Valvoline Customer Service and both the manager and his manager continued to give lip service and the runaround. The case manager was rude and accusatory and advised there was nothing to worry about if there was no engine knock. Every reputable mechanic, including the dealer said an oil light is not OK to drive with on. When challenged the manager, who interrupted me constantly, became irate and even more rude. He refused to accept Valvolines responsibility and said I would lose if I brought this to court.The ineptness and arrogance of Valvoline is astounding. Because there is none in my home area they refuse to acknowledge that the correct and safe course is to not drive until a qualified dealer looks at the engine to make sure it's not wrecked, or more importantly about to be.There is not a reputable mechanic who has told me to just drive it 30 miles in heavy traffic to the dealer but have it towed.Valvolines mechanic supervisor disagrees. What does that tell you.Inept, rude, belligerent, arrogant and questionable. When a place that primarily does oil changes can't put on a filter correctly, you can see what a piss poor company you are dealing with.Needless to say all courses from the BBB to the CEO will be receiving complaints.Know nothing will come of it but it's another one for their files.

I had a great experience here with my oil change! Everyone was incredibly friendly and did a great job at breaking down the charges and what was or wasn t necessary for my car. It was super fast and I would definitely recommend!

The manager and staff at Thompson Road are key to my career as a Chauffeur and RideShare Driver. This will always be my first stop for oil changes as well as all the additional and critical services like the battery, head lights, tire rotation etc...All the things that keep my car in optimal running condition! I went in today and got a routine oil change as well as a transmission fluid change. Unfortunately, during the process my battery died.The guys tried everything in order to resolve the issue without me having to buy a new battery. I appreciate your efforts.I especially appreciated the efforts of Abraham. His communication, skills and hard work are certainly an asset to Valvoline. It is workers like him that encourages repeat customers.

Highly recommend for an oil change! They have coupons which helps with cost. I pulled in 15 minutes to close and they got me in and out with an amazing attitude. Abraham (assistant manager) and Brian (manager) are amazing quick and kind :) highly recommend!!

It was pretty quick. Once upon a time I'd do my own oil change but I don't feel like crawling around anymore. They did well and changed the air filter and checked my tire pressure too. Very pleased

They had two lines forming. Obviously I got in the shorter one. After waiting 20 minutes I was told I had to pull out my spot and give it to the person that was next IN THE OTHER LINE. Mind you I pull all the way out on the street and we're sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for this guy to pull his car in because he doesn't know how to back out one line to pull in the other. There's TWO lines for a REASON. Someone should NOT be pulled from their own spot they waited on so someone in the other line can go next. You learn this in grade school. If one line isn't moving as fast as the other maybe we should reconsider on who's working the lines.

Worst service ever! I came in for an oil change, what was suppose to be a 15 minute wait turned into a hour! Carzel went to go put air in my tire and broke my valve! I wasn t even informed on what happened until I asked what was going on because I seen two people by my tire. So when Jameire told me what happened I was highly upset because they tried to tell me it was because my valve was so rusted! That was a lie! So as my voice starts to escalate one of the men that was by my tire happened to be the manager Brian and he told me that i didn t need to be upset and yelling which didn t make sense because they were the ones who broke my valve. It s like the manager Brian was upset that I got upset for their actions. Then Brian said well if u have a spare you can put that on. I should not have to pay for something I didn t break! So Brian took my tire to get fixed because he didn t have a choice since i didn t have a spare. They say their customers are the most important ones to them and they did not show customer care AT ALL! The only one that did was Jameire thanks for your help young man. Brian has horrible leadership. Nobody even apologized for this happening except Jameire. And I will be calling corporate to complain!

I tell him I need to check my engine light he said okay then offered me a bunch of services which I denied to then he tells me that his engine light check equipment is not working this morning. Last time I will be back. His name is Alec & Ben is the manager!

Although the line was long they moved the customers at a timely manner. Customer service was great. Employer Tyi helped with oil change and advised battery needed to be changed. Came back next week for battery and new wipers. I would recommend this location to all and explain the wait is worth the customer serviceService: TransmissionService: Transmission

Very peaceful place to get a simple oil change, in peace... Sit in your car, listen to music/TV, or just finish your lunch, while they continue to work on your car.. Great, plus they offer deals and coupons before you can ask, or just to give the customer a heads up on savings.. great vibe , and good people.. Told me what my car filters actually do, and how to save on gas... only cost me $5 after coupon.. Thank uuu,,,

I had low tire pressure this morning so I thought I would try Valvoline's to see if they could check my tires for me. It was the first big snow fall of the year and it was really cold outside. They were a little busy, but they came out to talk to me right away. The woman who filled my tires was extremely friendly and professional. One of her coworkers brought her a coat before she started working on my car. I thought that was very nice. I highly recommend this location. Every time I have been here, they have done a great job!

Wow. I mean what else can I say? Since you [didn t] ask Brian the Manager is the epitome of professionalism and customer service. Due to the temp drop, I needed air before I got on the road very early the next day for a 200+ mi drive. Also needed an oil change and tire rotation but since it was 6 cars deep when I arrived an hour before close, I had resigned myself to just air. Lo and behold, I was next up at 4:59 (a reasonable wait all things considered), aka a minute before close, and Brian and his team - shoutout to Rosemarie too!! - did all the things (air, oil, rotation) as effortlessly as I could ve hoped. He also told the three cars after me they d be seen, which means he and his team of 5 or 6 worked at least an extra 45 minutes past close for their customers, to make sure we were safe on the road as well as happy. I plan on also calling Corporate because even though these are franchises, they still should know when a team is making them look this good.
