2003 Jaguar S-Type, 3.0L V6Upstate tech and service manager, in East Syracuse, were amazing! This is my second visit.When you bring a car to them, they send you a report card, on-line with photos, and issues found. Then, after verifying my complaint, they quickly identified potential cause(s) and immediately provided cost to repair. And there s no pressure whatsoever to resolve all issues. After taking care of a couple issues, the tech faced a very difficult time troubleshooting an infrequent starting issue. However, he persisted and my Jag is 100% again. Their work is top notch, and worth every penny and not far off other shop prices. I should caveat that Upstate is the only place that will work on my Jag, so I consider myself lucky that Upstate is welcome hidden gem.Overall, I would recommend this place to any of my friends. 110%.

Tony and the Upstate crew were really great, they're total pros! They thoroughly checked out a used car (2008 Saab Aero), that I was considering purchasing and they did a very good job. They produced a detailed report on the condition of the vehicle and gave me options to do any, or all repairs needed, and with zero pressure.I had many conversations with Tony about my questions or concerns, that he happily answered. In the end, because of their thorough investigation and repairs, I bought car.Upstate took all the hesitation out of the decision to buy the vehicle. They also did a fabulously good job in detailing the car. Tony then connected me to a transport company who picked up the car in Syracuse and delivered in to me in CT.All in all, a very professional experience. I feel very confident in recommending Tony and his team at Upstate.

I have always had an excellent experience here. These guys are incredibly thorough and will find just about everything of concern with your vehicle in an easy to read and comprehensive report. They will not pressure you to get anything done. I'd take my VW here and nowhere else.

Every service I have had performed on my vehicle has exceeded my expectations and historical service from competitors. My air conditioning system on my BMW was once explained to me as well that s the best these 3 series cars can get. Had it serviced at Upstate and it works like new, colder than every before. These guys are great. Easy no nonsense service , I enjoy and appreciate.

The team did a great job getting my 1991 jaguar xj-s running again .they kept me informed on progress and cost .the car is running great after extensive diagnostics and repairing a very sick engine.I would recommend them

They offer great service, with quick turnarounds. I've received great advice, and the prices and quality of workmanship and parts are excellent. They had no issues with me showing up with my own parts.I highly recommend getting your BMW serviced here.

This is a Scammer shop!!! My fianc� went here, paid $900 for more oil cap and 2 other nonsense items they replaced saying it will make her engine light go out on her jag, her engine light was still on when we picked it up after the repairs, they told her she needed a new battery and $4k worth of repairs that were not needed, I fixed the battery issue myself by simply tightening the battey connections , after they charged almost $300 for a pre inspection which they didn t even bother to do a real inspection by even simply checking the battery connections, DO NOT GO HERE!!! They lie and don t do their job correctly, thankfully I m a mechanic that fixed my fianc� s vehicle without their help. I got her engine light off, not these guys, they ripped her off $900 for no actual repair, oil dipstick, oil cap , the filler cap gasket they didn t even replace, yet charged her that much, I feel bad for anyone that goes here to get scammed

Very good place. Been using for the past few yrs on several of our cars. Tony and Vinnie are real pros, easy to reach, and provide top shelf, prompt service. No more slow turnaround service time at the dealer for us!

Pricing was great. Work got done quickly. Made good recommendations and gave good advice. Spent under 4-grand with them and basically got a new engine (should ve gotten a discount with so much work!)

I was thoroughly impressed with Upstate Imports. You would think because they work on high end cars like Porsches and BMWs there'd be an air of stuffiness in the shop. Nope. The guys there were so down to earth. They had wifi so I could still work while they were doing their thing. They've got fresh coffee, water, and snacks while you wait. I went there just to get my car inspected and what I got was my car inspected. Thoroughly. They called me out because something was wrong. Great here's an unexpected $500 bill. Showed me a problem with my exhaust. Loose and missing hardware. Of course it had to get fixed. 15 mins later I'm up paying my bill waiting for the sticker shock. I was very shocked. They charged me for my inspection. That was it. On my car i would expect to be charged for every little thing. I asked about the repair and Kyle told me that it was such a quick fix there was no need to charge. I've read their reviews, good and bad. From my own personal experience I can tell you that Kyle and his team are professional, courteous, HONEST, and good old fashioned down to earth people. I would absolutely recommend him and his shop for anything they are capable of doing. Thank you Kyle and Upstate Imports. We definitely need more of your kind in the auto repair world.

Tony and the guys at upstate imports always come through. I normally head in every 6 months or so to tune up my RR sport. There was a fluid issue that was causing some knock in the differentials when turning. Tony took it right back in without any guff, figured it out, drained it, tuned it all up again for no charge and it s running like brand new. The nice thing is that these guys always give you such a great rundown on the vehicles they service. They are true import car enthusiasts - they know more about the imports they service than any dealership service department I ve ever dealt with, that s for sure. Hands down the best in central New York, I always know what needs to be done next time with very detailed logs from the service reports, along with guidance from Tony on exactly what s imperative to fix or replace, and what can go a bit longer. Huge help.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Terrible. Customer service is absolutely terrible. If you want to waste time and money, then this is the place for you. Both Brian and Tony are completely poor in terms of booking, managing, and addressing customer concerns. Be warned that they will take your car for a joy ride.... Totally unprofessional and will try and take advantage of you as if they know better.They also claim "they are not a charity" and gauge prices unnecessarily, again trying to take advantage of customers.Do not bring your vehicles here.We own a half a dozen vehicles and none of them will be serviced here again.Hope you enjoy losing clientele and money. (This only applies to the Erie. Blvd location)

Upstate Auto Imports worked really fast on repairing my old jags transmission. They had it done in a week and now it shifts like butter! Highly recommended!

The BMW mechanic did me dirty.Other than issues with the mechanic, the service manager was nice and the other techs seemed nice as well.I'm okay paying more if the work performed was quality...but it was not. I feel very screwed over.To clarify, this review is directed at Upstate Imports on Erie Blvd. and I have indeed had my BMW serviced at this location just not under the name Duane.

Today 12/7/2022 I was just charged almost $500.00 for removal and replacement .7 liters of fluid in the transfer case. Doubled the cost of what a BMW dealer would charge. First told me my car took almost 2 quarts of fluid when it actually took .7 liters. Service manager Tony called me at 9 am to let me know he was waiting for a price of the fluid from BMW even though they had the fluid in their shop? Then at 10 am text me a report that the transfer case fluid was done. That's 1 hour but I was charged for 2.4 hrs. of labor and $80.00 for the fluid.

Overall great experience!!! It was definitely worth the trip. We had been to several other shops and dealerships and no plane compared to this place. Kyle and family and the entire business were very professional and kind and most importantly HONEST! I am so happy with the purchase of my new Land Rover, it is everything I imagined and more Their shop is so nice and everyone was professional and courteous. They even fed us knowing we just drove almost 3 hours to get there!!! They ROCK! GREAT TEAM THEY HAVE!! Our next purchase would definitely be from there too. Thank you Upstate Imports! You literally made a dream come true!!
