Over three hours for an inspection and oil change. Said I needed Many things done ended up not needing. Brake pads should be replaced soon asked to have them done under warranty and now they didn t have enough personnel to do it. Dave I believe his name was let one guy leave early (hmm with not enough personal). I tried to get his attention Dave said one minute came back 25 minutes later from outside! One gentleman was very nice as he called me to be sure I got home okay. Wish I knew his name. Now let s see when I get back there if they do them under warranty. Not sure if I will be back after I have pads replaced. I h I forgot to mention that Dave said how, conveniently, the inspection machine was down. But never mentioned prior to me getting upset. I m sure it wasn t down just an excuse.

The manager for the facility was very rude and kept trying to add on more items to my appointment then when I mentioned I got everything completed the week prior and checked by other mechanics he said well it s not us in a very demeaning tone. Then proceeded to find anything he could to add on for me to pay more when I only came in for an inspection, he threaten to fail me for the inspection if I didn t buy windshield wipers when I explained my car is recently purchased so that shouldn t be a issue, he said either buy or you fail so I purchased overpriced windshield wipers in order to pass inspection on my car. I will never be coming back to this location again.

I come here because they are close and have worked on my vehicle for for a long time. They will call and advise if it's been 6 months ths since last oil change and have a opening Saturday at 10 am. Only thing is they won't have an opening and your car will sit there for 30+ min. And the oil change will take almost 2 hours while they inspect your entire vehicle for things to extra bill you for while you there. I do not expect a oil change and tire rotation to take 2 hours and then carry out my removed air filters to me in the lobby and add another 30 min and a additional charge to balance the tires which should have been apart of the rotation.

My wife brought in our car for a thermostat issue on our car with our two little ones in tow. With little ones everything is chaos and everyone was kind and patient with her and the boys. Paul was very nice and nobody was pushy when we declined some services which in the automotive industry is rare to find. This is our second experience and both were outstanding experiences to where we now consider Monro our go to for automotive service. Thank you and we will be back!

The people at this Monro have gone out of their way to help me with both minimal repairs and with complete exhaust repairs.Good people. Didn t feel ripped off like you can when you get your car repaired.

Although it was late in the day, I had a flat tire and was using the small replacement tire. They got my tire repaired and I was on my way home (100 miles away). They were great and I would recommend Monro to anyone!

I had an oil change done with them recently, and shortly afterwards when I tried to open my hood to put windshield washer fluid in the right side wouldn't open. I called them up to bring the car back in to have them look at the issue, and they proceeded to tell me that it would cost $80+ dollars for 30 min of labor to diagnose what the issue was. I was baffled by this seeing as how they were the last ones to have the hood open. I went to the place I normally go to and they popped it oped and fixed the issue at no charge plus filled my washer fluid up. Tried this place once and won't go back again!

Poor poor experience- the man that scheduled my appt scheduled it for an oil change and not the inspection and i got there at 845 and didnt leave until 11:15 for an inspection- and my paperwork said my car passed at 9:50 but i wasnt checked out until 11:15- UNACCEPTABLE

Made me pay extra 49 for wipers to pass inspection because not aligned or something. I don t even see any difference. And they passed it last year and nothing has changed. Only 9100 miles on my 2023 ford escape.Originally I had concerns from my last visit. So they said to come in. Dave explained things to me better and readjusted my wiper blades, which is what was in question on my inspection. All good now. And got my tires torked. Thank you

Great location with high quality work. Was having issues with fitment on my Civic and it's aftermarket wheels, and they kept me updated on the progress frequently. Very professional employees. Will return again.

Dave's amazing! Always super polite & knowledgeable. Super willing to assist and honest. He will get you in and tell you up front when he's got people there to service your vehicle or if he needs a specialist to look at it and give you an estimate in how long it should take. If he tells you he will follow-up, he does.Paul's pretty great too! Even though I have to remind him to smile more, he's always pleasant and happy (or seemingly so ) to assist! It's no wonder that this specific location is one of the BEST in our area. If you haven't, you may wanna go check David out he will get the job done and you'll be happy you went to see his team for your car/truck repair needs! No really, he's not bad on the eyes either ladies!!!

Drove in with a screw in my tire, looking for a plug repair. David had it in the shop within 20 minutes, looked it over and did the repair. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and saved the day!! Total time there was about an hour, time well spent. Thanks David!!

I went in for Diagnostic test , prices start normally at 20$ maybe 60$ they charged be 181$ for standard Diagnostic test. GO ELSEWHERE. P.S. I had an appointment for 8 am . Got there today they lost my information. Canceled my appointment. Guy working the counter was rude too me. I pay you're salary man and the mechanics salary if you don't want to work don't. My appointment was for 8 am now its 248pm paid the bill still no car

Excellent customer service! I d give 6 stars if I could. I m always humbled by the few good people left in this world. David Chapman at Monroe is one of those people! I had a nail in my tire and showed up 10 minutes before closing time at 7pm. Dave obviously had a long day and a lot on his plate after seeing there was only 2 people working the entire shop, and I m assuming he just wanted to get home. He could have turned me away, but he didn t. He fit me in last minute. Bennie fixed my flat right away. These guys turned my bad night into a great night by staying 10 extra minutes and helping someone out. Dave continued to hustle right up until close and mentioned several times, this is my job, we re here to help people. He did exactly that. Thank you Dave for being a great person and doing the right thing, when so many people in this world don t. Paying it forward.

We experienced some serious brake damage on our road trip and stumbled upon this shop in need of help! This shop got us in and repaired so quickly! The mechanic that serviced us was very polite, straightforward and nice. I would recommend this place.

I get all my oil changes here and am always treated professionally. As a woman, it's sometimes scary to walk into a car repair center. Sometimes we're given false information and led down an expensive path. This has never happened here - Dave and his staff are always courteous and I trust them. I come here for inspections, oil changes and the occasional nail in the tire and always leave happy.

Sheldon and his crew had this area looking clean, professional and well oiled machine. I've been to many shop before and always notice the cleanliness of this place, they're professionalism was above and beyond any other service shop.

Second time I've been to this service shop, first for tire replacement, then for inspection, oil change, and muffler. Both times I was completely satisfied with the work and customer service. The manager, David, is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Kept me posted about progress (fast!) and the price quoted was the price charged. Will go back!

I got my car inspection done yesterday and have nothing but nice things to say about the manager Dave and his crew. I needed the inspection done yesterday and they managed to squeeze me in. They were very nice and professional and I will definitely come back to Monroe for any maintenance needs on my car.

Munro in Mattydale Syracuse is absolutely my number 1 pick for auto repairs. Dave and the guys always do their best to make sure repairs are done correctly and quickly. They make sure to explain what is wrong and how they plan to fix it. Always professional accommodating and trustworthy. I have never had that feeling like I was being taken for a ride. Without question I trust Munro with my and my families vehicles.

I ve always had a fantastic experience working the guys at the Mattydale store. They go above and beyond to help me with my car and get me the best price at the same time. They ve taken great care of me and I ve been bringing my cars here for years. Dave and Ricky are amazing, and always do a great job!! They both definitely deserve a raise for all the good work they do!!

Told me I needed over $4000 in repairs. Vehicle sat for almost 3 weeks trying to get the money up to fix it and pay for a rental at the same time. Finally decided to get a second opinion and got it fixed for $175. Would never recommend going here.

Got a flat tire on a Saturday evening while out of town. Adam so kindly fixed my tire 10 minutes before closing time so I could get home. Excellent service.
