My husband and I recently purchased a vehicle from here. We were immediately greeted by Abdullah at the door. He went above and beyond to meet our needs and made sure we completely understood and were comfortable with each decision we made. He was extremely patient and informative and kind. We were overall very happy with our experience with Abdullah and the dealership.

Would not refund a deposit that I didn't even authorize as a deposit. I didn't notice the withdrawal until I checked my bank statement a couple weeks later. They slipped it in as a 'transfer' on a tentative deal contingent upon new tires, in which they put on the lowest quality tires and damaged the rims. I didn't accept the vehicle in that condition. The manager blamed me for making him lose money on the car and said, 'I'm not giving you your money back.'

Lamacchia Honda staff are cooperative, quick, friendly, and let you know when your vehicle is ready. Do not know much about their technicians/mechanics as never get to chat with them. Most times you will find a fancy newish Corvette in the showroom. Why does Lamacchia display a Chevrolet vehicle is beyond me? 1st time having 2022 Civic Touring serviced, they noticed an underbody cover fastener was over torqued and destroyed the mounting hole. They asked if I wanted to pay over $300 for a new plastic underbody cover. I declined as the cover shows no signs of falling off or sagging. So, they are in the business to sell you something you did not want or assume you want your vehicle to be 100 percent perfect. I had checked and to replace was about $130 and Lamacchia wanted over $300 to replace it. If you want a perfect car, take a picture of one, no sense of buying it and pretend you drive it. My car looks great every day, pretty as a picture. Wheel Rotation, get charged $30 to take off wheels with winter tires and placed into the car and taking the regular OEM wheels with all-season tires out of the car and put them on. Wheel rotation is supposed to be free, so why being are we being charged for moving the wheels around. Not balancing the wheel or performing a wheel alignment as it's just a wheel swap from Winter to Summer. Typical Synthetic Oil Change for Civic is $49.95, Lamacchia fee is $59.95 with service coupon $11 Off is $48.95. You are only saving $1. Yes! elsewhere cost be like $69 to $79 for Full Synthetic Oil Change. When getting expensive parts changed, please meet and greet your mechanic, get the opportunity to see what is replaced and shown the old part(s). Honda City aka Great Lakes Honda of Liverpool where I initially purchased my Civic Touring has terrible service so that is the reason I go to Lamacchia Honda. "Where buying a car is a Beautiful thing". Years ago, did buy a CPO 2011 Civic EX-L at Lamacchia, it was a good car. Lamacchia did not have a vehicle of my liking in its inventory and limited selection of vehicles on the lot, and I was in an immediate need of a decent car so went to Honda City where they had one available for purchase regardless of Honda City having a lousy finance manager.

We had an unfortunate deer strike on our car enroute to visit family in Syracuse 3 days before Thanksgiving. We called ahead to Lamacchia Honda hoping for a miracle. We provided our VIN and photos of the broken parts, hoping they could get the parts and squeeze us in during this busy holiday week.Anthony (the owner) personally made the call to order the parts, and his stellar service department came through! We had the car in to the shop the following morning. We received a call mid-afternoon telling us the driver's sideview mirror was replaced, the rear door handle was repaired, and the fuel door latch was replaced. Wow! What an incredible effort they put forth to make sure we could complete our family visit and return home to North Carolina.We can't praise Anthony, Ed (the service intake rep) and his tech staff enough. They all truly embody the values we expect from Honda...and we were not disappointed. We wholeheartedly endorse and recommend Lamacchia Honda for all your service needs.

My salesmen Abdullah did wonders helping me get a good trade in value and get the 2023 Accord Hybrid lease that I wanted with a lower payment and less months than what I came in with, alongside a brand new car with 75k less miles on it. Even helped me get to the bank to get the down payment money, which was above and beyond. Very great and approachable salesmen. If I m still in Syracuse when my lease is up I will definitely be returning to Lamacchia Honda to purchase from him.

In a world of sketchy and unreliable car dealers, Lamacchia is truly a gem. I am so grateful for my experience buying my used 2015 Volkswagen and working with Abduallah to seal the deal. The car was so well detailed and was presented like new. All of the paperwork was completed swiftly and diligently. What made this experience 5 stars, however, was the human touch.. the kind reminder as I cried in the driver's seat of the beautiful car I never imagined driving... "this car is worth xxx... you are way more valuable." I hope to never forget this incredible car buying experience.

Update: I want to update my review based on lamacchia s response. While this was a thoughtful response, it does not reflect the actual conversation I had with them. There were no apologies or acknowledgments of my frustrations. I got an uninterested sounding phone call from a manager (my sales guy didn t bother to reach out at all) telling me I could buy new rims. He did explain the cost savings over time but didNOT offer me a deal on rims and did NOT offer to put them on for free in the first year. Had this actually happened I may have felt heard and cared about as a customer and not written a stinky review.I leased a vehicle here back in June. A big selling point for me was to lease a vehicle that would fit with my snow tires from my previous Honda so that I would not need to purchase new snows. I was told by my sales associate (Richard) that my new car would fit with the snows I had, in fact it was part of our conversation several times ( and you won t need to buy new snows! ). This was a major selling point to me, and something I learned I should have double checked myself. Come November I bring my car to get the snows on and am told the tires I have do not fit. I m unsure if I was purposely mislead by Richard/Lamacchia or not but either way I am extremely disappointed. I called Lamacchia to share this finding and was told I could purchase $450 rims from them to then use my own snow tires. Why I would do that on a vehicle I do not own makes no sense to me. I felt they just wanted to further take advantage of me at that point. And of course no call back from Richard himself. This has been a huge inconvenience to me and again, a major disappointment. I am very untrusting of this dealership now and absolutely will not be returning to them for my next vehicle.

Telephone technology has come a long way since 1876.So why can't Lamacchia transfer us to parts from their main number??Is this not a solvable problem? Have they not considered the customer experience as compared to the plethora of technology solutions available to them? And NO - I'm not going to memorize the "other number" as I don't need to do so for ANY other dealership. This nuisance hardship is unique to Lamacchia Honda, and they've made us do that since the 1980's that I can attest to, likely longer. I'll just write this two star review instead. And I'll raise this review once Lamacchia Honda moves forward to the 1960's in this regard.

I brought my car in April 2023 for an inspection and had 4 brand new tires put on which they had recommended. When my car was ready they told me I was all set and everything had passed.I took their word for it and left. My tires sounded like I still had my snow tires on. Upon looking at their inspection of my vehicle, I discovered that my rear brakes were marked in the red. No one said anything about it. How does my car pass inspection?? I have always had good service at this dealership until now. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for anymore service or to buy my next car.

Someone at the dealership decided it was a good idea to empty both my center console an glove compartment an throw everything on my seats an floor of my car. After having it for two weeks to do a simple ignition switch change. Also refused to put steering column back. When parts where right on the seat. Sorry your employee covered it with stuff he shouldn't have been touching or going through.So glad Honda was able to make right the wrong. Took no time at all and they were nice enough to put my steering column back no questions! Thank you Honda!

Lousy service and sales. Went in for recall just out of warranty would not help me even though vehicle was on the lift. I choose to take the drive to Rochester to garber honda where they actually help their customers.

I had a horrible car experience with another car dealership , I emailed Lamacchia Honda and within a few days- I had everyone wanting to help me . They went far beyond what they had to . This dealership does NOT push for you to buy a car from them , they do NOT push any of the paperwork onto you and they make sure you are comfortable with whatever decisions you make . The workers are friendly and inviting . I wish, I had went through Lamacchia Honda in the first place . I am forever grateful for all that they have done for me . Abdul, my salesman also went far beyond what he needed to . He came in on his days off and he offered friendly advice from "person to person" . I could not have done this without him .This place should be recognized for their efforts and genuine and honest sales they do daily .

In May 2023, I emailed Lamacchia Honda about financing my car, as the lease was set to mature mid-July. They told me that the person who handled that was out of the office that day, and would send me an email by the end of that week. Three weeks later, after no response, I called their main number about how I was never contacted about financing my car, and the receptionist gave me an attitude, said I must have not inquired correctly, and was told "I'd receive a call back eventually." It was then June of 2023, and I used the form on their website to attempt to contact them again. I received an email response the same day, immediately replied to them, and then never heard back. I called Honda Corp. because I was so frustrated, and was told they have no control/say in how dealers treat their customers. I had to extend my lease because I had run out of options.As a city of Syracuse resident and with an ongoing Honda lease, I get ads from Lamacchia often. Which is even more frustrating because I TRIED multiple times to give them my business. I wanted to support a family establishment, I know they have been in the community for decades. I also have heard many great things about the dealership, so I am disappointed to have had such a horrible experience.I truly understand that miscommunications and mistakes happen, but I have never had a business flat out ignore me after THREE different attempts to do business with them.

This is the best Honda dealer there is! They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and will do all they can to ensure that you leave their dealership with the car of your dreams. My salesperson, Abdullah Albadari was not only kind, but went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Finance person Mike Forrester was also amazing to work with. because of this incredible team, I am driving the car of my dreams. I can't thank you all enough!

Finance department make me die because of interest rate it s too high 4.99! When I go there I told Sell counselor how about interest rate he said they ll let you know but they didn t. If "0 rate have it I will give them.

Lamacchia Honda was a great place to deal with. They took care of me beyond expectations. Camron Waters is a great sales rep. for this company. Camron answered every question I threw at him. His communication was great and I am looking forward to future business. Walking into the dealership was very welcoming and the people were friendly. I drove over 2 hours to go see these people. It was a great decision I had made and you should also check them out in the Syracuse, NY area.

Brought car in to have part installed. After 2 hrs, told part was too short on one side, they would have to order another. They were going to remove residue from failed install then have software update. After another hour trying to upload software they were not sure if it worked, so gave me guidance to try and complete process from home. If that didn't work, then I should TAKE VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP I BOUGHT IT FROM to have them do it! REALLY? (1) Part install issue was a lie and I can prove it. (2) Take it to dealership I bought it from....WTH! Honda is Honda. Sorry I didn't buy from you but apparently that makes a difference??? Extremely disappointing experience.You want me to contact you? I would think Lamacchia would contact me to discuss this, not the other way around.

I puchased my 2001 Honda Prelude from them back in the day and loved how quick and easy it was to deal with. I live in Florida and found the Prelude on Autotrader and contacted them. We negotiated over the phone and flew up the following weekend to pick it up and drive it home. Very easy to deal with and the car was just as described!

I just purchased a CRV SPORT HYBRID that was ordered in October. It is my seventh car from Lamacchia Honda over a 35 year period. During that time I have had the GREATEST service on all of my vehicles, and it would be an almost impossible sell for me to go elsewhere. Mr. Abdullah Albadri kept me informed of the status of my order over the months that I waited, and also made me aware of other Hondas that might interest me, always being courteous, considerate, and honest. EVERYONE at Lamacchia has ALWAYS extended this most professional and civil business etiquette; it is why I have dealt with them for decades. Though prices have changed ( my first CIVIC was $5400) , dealing with the Lamacchia family has not. It has been consistently rewarding dealing with a family owned business.

My 2017 Honda Ridgeline needed a new transmission. My local dealer in Yorkville was not only $3500 higher for the same procedure (used transmission, labor, parts, etc.) but wasn't very forthcoming about information related to the service other than "you need a new transmission". I wasn't pleased with the service there so I had the vehicle towed to Lamacchia Honda and spoke with Ed in the Service Department. Ed took the time to listen to my truck's history and spent at least 30 mins on the phone talking over the issue, going over options, and trying to find multiple ways to save money. In the end, it took them less time than my local dealer quoted and their parts/fluids/hours were far more reasonable. I just got my truck back and it drives perfectly, and I have a 3 year unlimited warranty on my transmission. Ed constantly kept me in the loop with phone calls and messages along the way. My local dealer is very Corporate, Lamacchia has a personal feel - service was understanding and communicative and even casual conversations with the sales people while waiting was very pleasant and unexpected.

This is my third experience with Lamacchia Honda. I have had the same salesperson whose name is Abdullah. I have to say he is an exceptional sales person who works diligently to be not only fair to his employer, But fair to his customers as well. He saw a passport that he felt I would be happy withAnd worked relentlessly to sell me the car while keeping me at a comfortablePayment. Great service here. I started my service with them since 1997. I had no worries knowing my car was well taken care of at a very reasonable price. The advisors take time to answer your questions and make suggestions. Never once did they try to up sale my anything. I moved out of state recently. I really miss their service. I have not been able to find the same elsewhere.

Whether it is the sales department, service department or the administrative group, they are there to help me as a customer to take care of me needs in the most cost-effective way.
