Shop was able to get me an appointment first thing on New Years Day. Was able to repair a tire that I thought for sure would need to be replaced. Did not try to up-sell on services or pressure me to do additional tasks that were of marginal need or value. Work was performed quickly and well. An all-around excellent experience.

Marcello was a great salesman from start to finish. He knew exactly what needed to be done to service my car and I was in and out in a timely manner. He was knowledgeable, polite and very friendly

The place was and clean, the staff was welcoming and friendly. I felt like I was being dealt with in and honest way, unlike other places that talk down to customers and try to sell services that aren t necessary. I was given choices, given a written copy of the estimate for repairs needed and given a chance to make an informed decision. I ll be calling them back to make an appointment. This woman is happy!

Great service on a pre-purchase inspection. We got the car there an hour late, having first gone to the wrong location. PLEASE DON'T REPEAT OUR MISTAKE, check which end of Erie Blvd East you need to go to.Once he found out that I'd be late for my DMV appointment Alec the manager inspected the car himself. He was quick and thorough, all while he was running the place. By the grease on his hands, he's a hands-on manager. The price was reasonable, I'd go there again.

Solid. Inexpensive. Treats customers well.I generally try to use indy tire places for my vehicles, even for my semi-beater VW station wagon, but I was in a hurry, and needed my Tire Rack tires installed before a trip.Over the phone, these guys agreed to put on the tires the day I called them, if I could show up by noon and leave the car 'til 7pm. When I got there a few minutes after noon, they were super-friendly, and promised they'd get it done.Because I rushed up there, my ride couldn't arrive until a few hours later. I spent a couple hours in the waiting room, and got to hear the staff interacting with customers. They were unfailingly polite, and seemed to treat everyone well, and, as far as I could tell, they were prompt about calling folks to give them details about on-going repairs, or when repairs were finished. I've dealt with many, many mechanics and service writers, who, though very competent, were not nearly this good about dealing with customers. My ride finally got there, and I spent the rest of the day bombing around Syracuse. Firestone called me back at 6:30pm or so to let me know that the work was done and that if I couldn't make it back before they closed, they'd be happy to stow my car indoors. When I arrived, they recognized me, gave me a friendly greeting, and charged me less than I expected to pay. They even gave me some advice on removing rust from my lug bolts (I'm still getting used to living someplace where they salt the roads all winter). The tires seemed to ride just fine, with no untoward vibration. I did get a warning on the dashboard about tire inflation after about 60 miles about (everything was fine, one tire looked like it was inflated to about 2 pounds less than the others). I'm not sure whether this was my VW being fussy, or whether they didn't get a chance to reset the tire pressure monitor on the dashboard after changing the tires. In any case, I think they did a good job, and for a low price. And, bonus, there are a variety of tasty restaurants right around the corner.

They were honest and straightforward. Oil change was a little more than I expected it to be but not outrageous. Recommended work that needed to be done but didn't push to have it done right away. They also got me in as a walk-in, and I was out in about an hour. Can you ask for anything more than honest people working on your car?

I usually go to the Firestone at 711 Erie Blvd east. I accidentally made an appointment at this location and went along with it. Very nice manager (Alec). I am very happy with the customer service I was provided. However, I got new rotors and a new caliper prior to a long trek. One caliper fell off on my drive. I had to get it towed and fixed at an alternate shop (no Firestone around). Firestone offered to pay for any fixing and towing. Even though the shop I went to charged me nothing, Firestone refunded me $100 for my troubles. This seems like it was an accident so I have no hard feelings. But I feel I was put in harm's way with both my rear calipers loose and one fallen off. Thanks Alec for the great customer service. I most likely will not get my breaks changed here again just for my own peace of mine. But I'll be back for oil changes because I really like Firestone.

I've been going to this Firestone location for about two years now and I've only ever had good experiences there! The staff and technicians are all very knowledgable, kind, and compassionate. I felt as though they cared about me and my car and that the care of my vehicle was a top priority. The store manager is also a technician that has answered my questions and talked me through different repairs/services that would help my car! It's not often you see a manager working on the cars and talking to customers, but that happens here at this store! I would recommend coming here if you need service or if you have questions about your vehicle!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

There very kind and understanding. I currently have my honda pilot. It has a snapped timing chain. And there being very patient and understanding with our delima with our pilot..were still going back and forth with the insurance company.. They say they wont cover it because there was no oil in the pan. But it sat at firestone for about a week n a half. Before the insurance guy got to it. By then atleast two mechanics had been in the engine on my pilot. And neather one of them said anything to me about there being no oil in the engine. And plus i had already changed the oil and filter myself. Two months before this happened.. What happened was

They treated me very well . I was unable to get the work done that needed to be done because the price was so much. They did understand that though and gave me options .

If 0 was allowed they would recieve it. The first time I came in here there was not really any issues and I got a quote on what needs to be completed about 2 months before I decided to go back. Not only was the other stuff not listed to be done but something entirely new. So someone is being dishonest. Then on top of that I am supposed to get a veterans discount and even showed this guy my verification card and he still didn't apply it. So not only can I not trust the report because 2 completely different issues withing 2 months time but was also about to be over charged over 400 dollar to replace the front to brakes are you crazy. Never again.

They're very good at what they do. Alec and Dustin and the crew do great work and are pleasant to deal with. I just wish I didn't have to spend over $1500 almost every time I go there. But, car manufacturers can't build a car that will run for even 7 years without needing SOMETHING replaced!

These guys and gals are great. I bring my work truck here knowing that they'll do an excellent job repairing and maintaining it. The turn around time and hospitality can't be beat. Pricing is also reasonable for the service they do. Cheaper than the car dealership shop, maybe on ocassion a little more than an independent shop but it's worth it for consistent, dependable and quality service with fast turn around time. Plus it seems like they are always running a promotion to take advantage of for even a better deal.

Dustin could not have been nicer when we pulled in with a flat tire late in the afternoon, after having had a blowout on I90. He estimated an hour wait before they could look at the car--totally understandable--but 10 minutes later they pulled the car in. As we sat in the waiting area, I heard example after example of great customer service, both on the phone and in person. They had us on our way in about an hour. We were very fortunate to have ended up here.

Manager Eric was so helpful even before I decided to buy tires. What a credit to the company. I decided to purchase tires there based on my interaction as well as what I witnessed with others. He was as pleasant to them as he was to me. Tires are tires but the service was excellent.

This place is just trying to get as much money as possible out of you. Also, went there for oil leak when they finished and brought my vehicle out before I drove away I noticed the battery and brake lights were on which means alternator issue, they weren't on when I brought it there. I told them they said probably cause they had to wash the oil off everything from the leak and alternator got wet but the lights should go off. We'll they didn't and the vehicle stopped on me that night. Had it towed back to them, they changed the alternator no charge and said it must of shorted some how. When changing the alternator on the vehicle you have to remove some ac parts. So summer came I tried using my ac, air was hot took it to another shop they said the ac compressor wasn't plugged in. I would never recommend going to this Firestone, ever!

I have been searching high and low since I got my first car for a shop like this. I got ripped off for years and didn't know what to look for in a shop. My car wont go anywhere else. From the beginning I've delt with the store manager who has excellent customer service. But most importantly he's honest. They never over charge and they never tell me I need something right this minute that I dont need. They are quick with repairs and communicate through the whole thing. Alec always goes above and beyond to get my jeep in for service as soon as they can which is always appreciated

Alec always takes care of me at this location and it's the reason I keep coming back for the last decade. When I lived in Florida, we came up to visit and I made sure to make an app while I was here because the service is truly that good. Keep up the amazing work everyone.

I walked in for a last minute alignment appointment (3) hours before closing and they took me in without a problem. There were comfortable chairs to sit in while I waited. They got to my vehicle only to find I needed a new part (it was minor) but they explained it very clearly, looked up the part # at a local NAPA, and suggested another shop I could go to that was open on Sunday. Very resourceful people working there and a pleasure working with them for my brief experience there.

Quoted over 3 hours of labor and ~$400 to replace a single lug nut stud, something that normally is under $100. This is apparently due to my drum brake even though I could get the entire brake drum replaced for around that cost. I find it very hard to believe that a reputable mechanic could spend 3 hours replacing a lug stud, and I wasn't satisfied at all with the explanation. Recommend avoiding.Local mechanic R.G. Hence & Sons is fixing it for the appropriate price of $100, I recommend them.

Called here for a quote on new tires for my truck. Alec quoted me 3 different ones and explained the pros and cons to each. I decided on which ones I wanted and set appointment. The next morning when I dropped off my truck they had it in the garage before I left the parking lot and got right to work on it. Alec called and updated me throughout until it was complete. I definitely recommend calling them for tires, alignments, oil changes, & NYS Inspections.

My car was getting off the highway ramp when it suddenly began to make a loud rattling, grinding noise in the driver's side wheel. It shook the steering wheel and worsened on higher speed, couldn't even get back on freeway without feeling my wheel was going to break off. Called Firestone at DeWitt by my house and they gave me an appointment the next day afternoon on a weekday. They were going to charge me diagnostic first then go from there depending on what they found. Was a busy day and waited 1.5 hr but turns out it was just a piece of plastic that was stuck behind the wheel. They took it out, drove around and noise was gone. They waived my diagnostic since they said they didn't do much. They noticed I was due for state inspection and said if I gave them another 15 min they can get that done instead. In the end, I got my car fixed and only payed $21 for state inspection. No hourly rate labor charge. While it took a long time, I really appreciated their honesty and generosity. Also liked how accessible they were. Did go to Pepboy first but the mechanic there didn't even want to take a look at the car because it was close to closing hours. Was rude and said "there was no point", and they were booked out for several days when I had to keep using the car to commute to work. Wish I had known about this Firestone location sooner, and wanted to share my story so more people would choose to go there.
