CarStar did an amazing job at repairing my vehicle back to the way it was before the accident. They do quality work and do not rush the job but are very conscious about returning your vehicle as soon as possible along with it being safe as it was before accident. I would recommend this shop to anyone especially if you re in the Syracuse central NY area. I also would like to tank Jeff who is the person that stayed in contact with me through the whole process from start to end!Services: Tires, Painting

This place was recommended to me by the AAA agent I spoke after my accident. While my vehicle was on their premises. An entire set of vehicle detailing and car cleaning products were stolen. My vehicle has been there since Feb 18. I've spoken to Jeff a handful of times on the phone and once in person. I had stopped by Saturday and found my vehicle unlocked, I locked it and closed all 4 doors. Yesterday when I went back a door was left ajar and I noticed my trunk had been ransacked.When I brought this issue to the lobby, I was told that nothing could be done and that it wasn't their fault, and that also it's happened to other people before.I don't doubt that they can do a great job repairing vehicles. But if you're like me, and you're going through your first car, first accident, you'll suffer unnecessary losses.

The staff at Carmasters Collision are wonderful Chelsea was very helpful and Jeffrey was fantastic great guy and they do excellent work. I'm very happy with the work they did on my car,and I highly recommend them. I give them 10 stars. Thank you guys for excellent service.

They looked at my car and took pictures of damages quickly and sent them onto the insurance company for repair approval. I'll add more after I get my car repaired.I received my car back, Carstar staff were incredibly efficient and professional during the entire time my car was being repaired. The end results are phenomenal, great job and the car looks fantastic. I highly recommend Carstar Carmaster to repair your automobile in the Event you should need it. Solid 5 from me.

I had a fantastic experience with this company. Dropped my 2013 kia off with front end damage at 10am on Thursday, Jeffery had the parts ordered and installed by 430 pm the following wednesday. The car looks and runs great! If I find I need these services again I'll go to Carstar.

Me and my sister really appreciate how fast y'all got finished with her car even though there was a little bit set by because of the battery you got it now you finish the car and call and let me know that you was finished and you didn't keep us in the dark about the battery you let us know there was that problem that you was trying to get a battery through the insurance company and with everything going on with all the other cars I really thought we wasn't going to get the car back until around by February but we really appreciate everything you guys did and you did it at a very good timing because of the situation with me not being able to rent a car from her or Enterprise this car came in good time we really appreciate it and let us know how we did with the battery thank you very much and we really appreciate it you guys did a wonderful job and made things work out thank you very much and may God bless you

Worst service, poor communication skills, would not recommend. Took 4 months and the car wouldn t even pass inspection. All my safety equipment stolen. I took it to Chevy, never going back here. The one star is for the body work and paint. My fender bender was repaired by CarStar and I could not be happier with their service. Tim was super friendly and explained exactly what needed to be done. My car looks brand new again. Literally the best experience I've ever had with any car repair! Everyone was friendly and had a good sense of humor, and they gave me constant updates. I was surprised to find my super gross car was sparkling clean inside and out when I picked it up. It's never been that clean since I bought it! Our car was taken here after it was hit by a drunk driver while parked in front of our house. The staff was great with us - even after our frequent calling for updates. Unfortunately our car ended up totalled. We will definitely use CARSTAR if needed in the future.

This shop was chosen by our insurance company. Jeff was great about keeping us updated regarding all details about the work and timing. Being in an accident and not having your car for repair is not fun. Jeff helped make this experience ask good as it could have been. Highly recommend. Thank you !

Jeffrey called me today to let me know my car was ready to be picked up. He told me I needed to pay cash in the amount that my insurance company had pre-paid me. I specifically asked about this when I dropped off the car and no mention of a cash payment was made and I did not have the cash on hand. I spent 2 1/2 hours dealing with my bank and insurance company, the insurance company called the repair shop and both Jeffrey and the owner. Sam insisted that I had been told when I dropped off the car. Even the lady that took my money today understood that this was not true. I certainly have no problem paying by cash, but I was put on the spot because I wasn t told when I asked over a week ago , the business doubled down on insisting I had been notified when I dropped off the car rather than work with me. I was treated very shabbily on the phone by Jeffery, and I have to assume he didn t furnish Sam with an accurate account of our conversation.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took my car in to get a mirror replaced, only to find there was more damage than originally thought, they took care of it in a timely manor. They also cleaned my car inside and out, and they followed up after I got my car back to make sure everything was still doing good. I am very happy with the service. I had taken my SUV in for a couple dents in the back. I had it back within the timeframe they said I would and the pricing was extremely reasonable. And to my surprise the inside of my car looked like it was completely detailed! It came back cleaner then when I brought it in. Hopefully I won t need to have any more repair done in the future but if I do I will be using their service again and would highly recommend them. The staff is also very friendly and great to deal with.

This is everything that an excellent should aspire to. They are kind, professional and the work is absolutely top shelf. I interacted with the manager Jeff who was always patient and explained everything meticulously. In addition the young woman at the front desk Reese is personable, professional and really knows her job backwards and forwards. Having been in a motor vehicle accident this is a stressful and anxiety-provoking situation. These very kind individuals understand this and go out of their way to be decent and caring, in addition to that job. A deer ran into my car and did some pretty good damage to it. After I filed a claim with my insurance, Jeffery got to me right away and everything was handled so smoothly, quickly, and easily. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but Jeffrey and his staff explained details to me thoroughly. I would absolutely come back to Carstar for future auto troubles!Service: Body & Trim

I am very pleased with everything about Carstar Carmasters West. This is the second time that I have had to use them in the past year and I would highly recommend them to anyone. I was able to get a quick and complete estimate, I received an appointment to get the work done in a timely fashion, I was kept abreast of the progress of the vehicle, and in no time I was back in my car that was looking brand new. I have used this Carstar Location for years, and I have never been disappointed in the quality of their workmanship or service I have received! This time I was in to have my front bumper repaired from a hit and run incident. Upon initial inspection it seemed like minor damage, but after getting into the job it was learned that there was unseen damage beneath the bumper. Although this was all Insurance related, the representative of this location (Sam's Auto Body/Carstar Carmasters) worked with my insurance company to complete my service to PERFECTION!
