We recently bought a used 2019 Keystone Hideout and were very happy with the entire experience. Our sales associate Hope was wonderful! She listened to what we wanted and more importantly what we didn t want. She responded to all questions and concerns in a timely manner and took great care of us. We are excited for the camping season to begin!

During our meeting with the finance guy @ Camping World of Syracuse my wife & I were recommended to purchase the extended warranty! Both of us directly asked Bill if the ext warranty covers damage to the awning. He looked at us and verbally stated yes, if damaged by weather it will cover the Arms for the awning, however not the cloth material.Fast forward a few months later to this weekend (14Oct23) upon returning to our camp we found one of the awning arms to have been damaged! Obviously upon contacting service department we were further informed the extended warranty does not cover any damage to the awning and was not sure why we were told this. I was told to make a claim with the insurance instead.After messaging corporate of Camping World I received a call back stating again they do not cover damages to the awning and apologized if I was misinformed. However, stated they could do nothing about the misinformation due to a customers word against one of their employees! I was told corporate doesn t deal with HR so nothing they would do. I was advise to call the Syracuse Camping world and cancel the extended warranty if I don t like it.We understand Camping world not covering damages to awnings as it s probably the #1 claim for campers. However, to look us in the face and straight lie in order to us to pay extra for a extended warranty is shady! The fact corporate wouldn t even entertain looking into this finance person and say I could be the lying is even worse!! I will never buy a single item from Camping World nor recommend anyone to do so either! If you choose to buy from them, please make sure you are not getting scammed when it comes to the warranties!!

Shane wheeler had delivered exactly what the customer ordered from my experience this last week during my purchase. He was able to deliver on all promises effectively and efficiently. He was able to maintain a clear line of communication via email text and calls. Pretty sure he did all the footwork and I just had to make a few phone calls as usual to insure blah blah blah. He linked me to a referred insurance company and I got killer coverage for very reasonable price, competitive interest rate, exact payment I asked for, took my trade off my hands an was genuine from the handshake, which was most presentable immediately. Bottom line exactly the professionals I anticipate working with when purchasing and will return for future services. A huge thank you from my family to yours

Our salesperson Hope was amazing! We weren t really sure what we wanted, and she patiently went over all our options until we figured out what was important to us. Finally settled on a model we wanted and the purchase process was seamless. Would definitely recommend to anyone out there looking, go see Hope if you need your questions answered!

I just purchased my 4th camper, but my first time buying from Camping World. This was my first purchase on my own and I was a little hesitant about my vehicle s capacity to tow, the necessary set up, and overall weight of the RV I chose. I needed something that would accommodate me and my kids, but was also safe and easy for me to tow. Our sales rep, Hope, was so patient and helpful and Erin in the service department put my mind at ease as well. Such a great experience!

What started out as some repairs turned into a 6 month nightmare. Instead of telling us from the get go they couldn t fix our RV, they charged us for things they said they did that they did not do. They tried to get a deposit from us for a repair they knew they couldn t do. In the end we were stuck with a large bill which we paid. The receipt showed things were done and we assumed they were. Go to get in our RV to travel and we had no heat, no air conditioning, no electricity and no water. Heat wasn t even hooked up on the roof. We were told it was working. Couldn t have been working when it wasn t hooked up. Tried several times to contact the manager in charge of repair and never received a call back. I will admit we didn t go back in to talk to them mostly because i had tried to get a hold of her many times and she didn t return my calls. I wasn t going to waste the gas only to be told she already left the building. Very unhappy with the service, others should be aware of our experience.

Had an interest on a toy hauler advertised,called about it and it was available. I was informed there was an issue with the floor. I asked for details and photos of the actual unit. All of a sudden it was at auction. Skylar was glad to up sale me to something else...the classic look at the deal and come buy the upsale, classic bait and switch. Note of you get this reaction or if they are ever hesitant to show you the actual photos, chances are you are about to be robbed...be very careful with this company especially Skylar

Drove up there with the family looking for a RV and was handed off to salesman Scott. I asked Scott 2x if they pull a soft credit inquiry to run numbers. I was insured that they pulled a soft inquiry and not a hard Inquiry. While Scott was in the office with the guy who runs the numbers I get a notification that a hard inquiry has been pulled. I confronted Scott with this and he says oh I'm sorry I didn't know they did that and that he doesn't know how they work things. I'm very well trained in reading signs when people lie and I knew right away that he was lying to my face which from that point on I knew I wouldn't deal with this establishment unless I found exactly what I was looking for . Very unprofessional in my eyes and they definitely lost a customer.

We had an amazing experience purchasing our Fifth wheel camper! This will be the fifth camper that we have bought from camping world. We have never had a bad experience with them and our sales rep. Chris Raesky did an amazing job putting us in the camper we wanted! I highly recommend camping world and I highly recommend asking for salesperson Chris Raesky!!

Update 3-28-24After receiving our camper back AGAIN after them having it all winter to replace the rear wall and a bunch of other various things that were supposed to be addressed 4 times ago. I finally get the sun to hit the rear of the camper just rite and surprise surprise they just tried covering up the patch holes again on the rear wall. STAY AWAY from these people!!!And them posting to reach out to corporate directly is a joke. Worked with 2 people from there and you would receive better help from a dog--- ---------Purchased a new keystone cougar through the syracuse store back in February and just now getting it from service 2 months later which I get that everything can be delayed from the distributors and that there was a good 20 things wrong with the unit however after finally taking delivery of it disappointed would be an understatement. Especially after I call weeks prior to receiving it to double check that a good amount of things were not on the work order and was told after double checking that it was all set, whats the point of a walk through if your only going to fix 1/3 of the issues no less all covered under warranty. Now after countless phone calls to the service manager with no response I'm stuck with a lemon and a Shi* service department along with a sales lady that doesn't have a care in the world. Stay clear of this place and keystone, this is our 6th camper and both experiences have been the WORSE!Update:Day 2 of looking the camper over and being outside with the sun finally being out I noticed the ladder was swapped since all 24 old screw holes are visible and a botched paint job in the rear. Where the re attached it to the roof they left the membrane bubbled up and did a poor caulk job. Now it all makes sense why they brought it inside with poor lightingAgain STAY away from this placeUpdate 6/23:Still only 25 percent if the things have been addressed even with it being in the shop close to 3 months. Found out through another camping world that the damage that was done to the rear was covered up by the syracuse store. Even with all the calls we make to get things resolved we only get a call back half the time. We even said we would still work with camping world on getting into a different unit and was told from Mat the manager that we would have to take a $20k to get out of it. Not sure why we have to suffer for a junk camper they knew about and sold without disclosing the issues

Came in due to an emergency Received superb service. Steve at the collision centre was ultra helpful, patient and generous. The front desk staff was also extremely pleasant and helpful. Will definitely return.

I recently was in the market to purchase a camper van. After many many hours of online searching thru many units at all different establishments I ended up at Camping World. Soooo happy I did. I was given the option of initially communicating thru email...text....phone. My decision of texting was respected and I did not receive multiple unwanted phone calls which other place do unrelentlessly. I set up an appointment and was greeted with smiles and positivity from all. Shout out to Hope who was my sales gal. She was an absolute joy to work with!! I highly recommend if you are ever in the market...visit Camping World and Please....ask for Hope. You won't be disappointed!!!

Camping world was at the Hershey camper/rv show. I did a walk through of the camper my wife and I liked, we asked if the way the camper sat, is the way we would be buying and receiving it. We were told yes. After a month of waiting for the camper to be transporter from the Syracuse store to the Harrisburg store, we went to pick it up. The camper did not have everything the on at the show had, it was missing the living room tv, the electric stabilizing Jacks, and the rack carrier for the back of the unit. I had camping world hanover look at what was missing and they quoted $3000 to get the parts and install on our camper. They were told by Syracuse that they would only cover $1k of the $3k needed to get the camper back to the way THEY said it would be upon signing papers at the show. I'm not very happy with how this is going down, and I need it addressed ASAP. I will drive this camper back up to Syracuse and drop it right in front of the store until it gets done if I have to.

Last week I realized I needed a stronger hitch!*Daniel Murray*ordered me the hitch called me when it came in they really took good care of me at camp world in Syracuse N.Y *Steve Miller* knew about the hitch situation squeezed me in an appt took care of me today!!!So we can make our last camping trip on October 22nd these guys are great!I really appreciate the service & how they take care of me & my family!

Tried to upgrade to a nicer camper,third one from camper world. Tried to nail me 17.99% interest. Outrageous. Guess what got a way better deal elsewhere. There finance system is very deceiving do your homework

It has always been a dream of mine to own a camper and my father and I have never missed going to see the Campers at the New York State Fair and thanks to Ramon Tosca and his team at Camping World one of my dreams came true we were greeted as soon as we entered we were catered to tremendously Matt r asked me what I was looking for and what I was interested in and thanks to a wonderful team of people the camper is now in my driveway I'd like to thank everyone that helped out down the line all the way down to Melissa in customer service where we were handed the keys for the camper. I am so beyond disappointed! We bought a 2023 camper and since the first weekend we used it we have had nothing but terrible problems! Our AC didn't work, our thermostat didn't work still doesn't! We were taking on water bc the seals to.the outdoor kitchen were not right! We have had multiple pipes break and FLOOD OUR CAMPER! 4 months in the microwave no longer works! The outdoor shower was broken! Our water heater had a terrible smell full of bacteria all the trim is popping off. Our camper was delivered dirty with saw dust all over and screws just rolling around! They told us they would send us a gift card to make up for these things NEVER did. $40,000 dollars for a NIGHTMARE!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We WILL NEVER USE CAMPING WORLD AGAIN I will also NEVER recommend them!

Very satisfied with Shane in sales, the technician who described coach operation, and with the clear explanations provided by the finance manager. The Thor Freedom Elite 19R, with so much off-grid solar capability, easy maneuverability and up-to-date safety features should sell like hotcakes in 2024.
