What can I say about the wonderful service that I received on my Subaru service visit yesterday at Thompson Road?Amazing and fantastic! It s great that you know you are leaving your Subaru in trusted hands at any dealership.Not only was the work done expertly and efficiently but it was completed earlier than stated! How often does that happen?I also treated my Subaru to a cleaning and was impressed with the expert detailing that was done.I left very happy and proud of my Subaru and the professional and expert service I received!Stephanie Brown

Website is very easy to navigate. I was able to find a few different cars I liked, and request times for test drives immediately. Staff are very friendly--everyone I met and/or worked with answered all of my questions. I was able to drive my new (to me) car less than 48hrs off the lot. Great deal compared to others nearby! Very happy with the sales and financial staff, and with every person I met. 10/10 recommend, especially for first time buyers looking for used cars!

Ernie Brown is the man! I was in a bit of bind in February; the short of it, I needed to sell my car due to moving country. He gave some great advice about the market and suggested we come back in a month for a better quote. We did, and he made good on his promise.Truly the best, most honest experience I've had at a dealership. If I was still in the US, and local to this dealership, I would absolutely be purchasing my next vehicle with Ernie at Bill Rapp Subaru!

I've never experienced an easier time purchasing a vehicle. I was met by Product Specialist, Sam Cerelli. Sam has a wealth of knowledge and made the purchasing simple and efficient. There were no hard pushy sell tactics. Sam first wanted to make sure we knew what we were looking for. Then went out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted for the best price. What I was really impressed by was his recurring statement, "And we're going to do this for you". We now have a new Subaru Forester for my wife, who had been a loyal Honda customer for the last eight vehicles. Thanks to all involved for making our new car purchase so pleasurable.

Our salesperson was Stephen Rudenis. He was very attentive to our needs. He was responsive during negotiations. After the sale, he has kept in contact and continued to listen and respond to what we were telling him. We were not happy with the dealership response to our concerns about the brakes. The brakes shuddered when decelerating from high speeds. The dealership wanted us to drive the car to see what happened. We thought this was a poor response to a possible safety issue. With Steve s help, we now have an appointment to have the brakes examined.

Wonderful, TRUSTED experience with the team at Bill Rapp, specifically Stephen Rudenis and Chris. They immediately took me in and made me feel welcomed and in good hands. They were open, honest, and I truly felt as if they worked their hardest to get me the best deal I could find.They even cared enough to call a few days after picking up my car to make sure everything was running smoothly. Can t recommend this place enough!

I had an emergency today with my car. I called to see if I could bring my vehicle in to have it checked. I brought it in for Express Service. It turned out that I needed a battery. They thoroughly explained that my problems were caused by a bad battery. They replaced it and even washed my car. Very nice and helpful. I will return again if needed.

Excellent for so many reasons! I wish I could give 10 stars because that is how pleased I am with Bill Rapp Subaru dealership. Matthew R. at Bill Rapp was very patient when answering all of my questions and addressing any concerns I had. I love my new car was not looking for a Subaru but after hearing about all the safety features the car has and test driving the car I was sold. I am very happy with my selection. Everything about my car buying experience at Bill Rapp Subaru was excellent! I had been car shopping at several dealerships in the area over the past few months while looking for my next car. I stopped in to Bill Rapp Subaru and met with Tony. He was such a nice guy right from the start. He showed me all the neat features of the cars that I wanted to look at, but wasn't pushy, like many of the other car salesmen that I had dealt with during my search. As soon as I drove the Crosstrek, I knew it was the car for me. When I was ready to make the purchase, I called Tony and he came in to meet me on his day off! When I picked the car up from the dealership, he spent extra time with me to go over every detail of the car. I would highly recommend buying a car at Bill Rapp Subaru in Syracuse!Thanks for everything Tony!

Clean waiting room. Service department doesn't perform courtesy checks like battery, tires, belts, etc. like other dealers do. Tech who worked on my vehicle took frequent phone breaks (I counted at least six). Did like they wash your vehicle but the service and communication really need improvement. Will probably go elsewhere going forward. Their GM did reach out via email indicating she would look into the issues but I never heard back.

I purchased a 2017 Outback here in late 2017. Buying the car was enjoyable (thanks Brian M) and I got a fair price. Since then, I've had three oil changes, a few minor repairs, and one recall. I found it easy dealing with the service department (thanks Rich) and everything was done correctly the first time. UPDATE-1: When you take a Subaru that was purchased at Bill Rapp's to their service department to have a New York State inspection, there is no charge.

Purchased a vehicle in early spring. Purchased the extended warranty to go with it as well, unfortunately got into an accident and totaled the vehicle. There was a balance left over from that warranty and owed a refund from the warranty company as well as from Bill Rapp. Alpha, the warranty company was awesome and refunded what they owed but Bill Rapp did not. They felt that keeping 500 dollars from a repeat costumer was more important than refunding what s not theirs. We contacted them several times and the sales manager was always out of the office and never returned our phone calls. Did little to nothing to help(more nothing). Garbage customer service. Wouldn t recommend them for anything.

My experience with Bill Rapp was awesome! This beauty has finally arrived and is all mine. It would not have been possible without a fantastic sales man Matthew Rabbia. He was so patient and did everything he could to help us out. He explained everything in detail and didnt leave anything out.I would highly recommend going here if your in the market for a new car!

August 22, 2023In May of this year, I bought a previously owned 2018 Subaru Outback from an outstanding car sales person - Julie Rotella Moore. I met her a decade earlier when she sold me another outback. I have owned several Subarus and found them to be reliable, safe and easy cars to drive. So, I was back to find my next Subbie. From the minute we met again until I drove my new car away, Juie made the whole process so easy. She gave me information on the car and helped me look at the trade-in value of my old car and financing for my new one. She really listened to me and answered all my questions. After a test drive, I knew I had found my next car. It needed a few cosmetic touches and then a trip to Rapp s amazing cleaning team. When I picked up the car a few days later, it looked like I had a brand-new car. Julie helped me sync my phone to the car and walked me through all the features on the dash that were new to me. She even had MY radio stations ready and waiting for me. To top off this excellent service, there was a candy bar inside the car what a sweet touch! Once again, Julie had guided me through the scary! process of buying a vehicle with expertise and confidence which all helped me relax and leave the details to Julie! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great new car. Thank you Rapp Super Store and thank you Julie!

Make an appointment to see a renegade and get there and look at it only to be told that it was sold.A call would've been great but apparently they don't know what they are doing. The guy took our keys and didn't even know he had them!Get your act together!!!

Went to Bill Rapp Subaru with the intention of offloading a heavily depreciating SUV I had bought not even a year prior. I worked with Matt Montoya on the sale and he was amazing. They were able to (unbelievably) give me positive equity on my trade-in and a very good deal on my new 2021 Outback. Matt was a pleasure to work with, answered many, many questions, some even after hours. Sean in the F&I office was also a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend!

This is our second Subaru purchased through this dealership. Our 2012 Impreza is still on the road now joined by our 2020 Forester.Transactions went smoothly and maintenance options and car features were explained clearly. The friendly and knowledgeable staff make a car purchase very comfortable.

Very sketchy. I looked at a car here in 2015 and got a bad vibe. Can't remember specifics. Ended up buying from Five-Star in Oneonta instead. This past summer I needed another new car, gave them a second try. Still very sketchy. Tried to get me to give my credit card to hold the car before I even made a decision that I wanted it. I ultimately purchased from Romano instead two months ago. But Bill Rapp employees have been calling me nonstop since. What about the fact I keep ignoring your calls makes you think I want to hear from you? I will never go back.

I just bought a 2024 Crosstrek here a couple weeks ago and it s perfect! The drive is smooth and exactly what I needed for our unpredictable winters. Ulas worked with me to help find exactly what I was looking for. Whether you are looking for new or used, I would highly recommend Bill Rapp!

Parts department quoted me roughly double the Subaru MSRP price for some exhaust parts I was looking for. Yet another case of a car dealer behaving badly. I had Romano Subaru do the same thing - jack up parts prices well above Subaru's suggested price. Will be ordering all parts online or getting them from NAPA in the future.Edit: Note that in Bill Rapp's response, they do not deny jacking up the prices above MSRP.

Brian Milkbeck is the man you want. Though a veteran in the business with years of experience, he doesn't use any old school pressure sales techniques. Just straight info to help cater to your needs and will work hard to get you the best deal possible.

I took my car in that is only one year old for uneven wearing on my front tires. I was rudely told that it was due to my driving habits and that nothing was covered under warranty and there was nothing they could do for me. I left went to Romano Subaru and they told me this was a common issue and worked with Subaru customer care and got me new tires at no charge. Needless to say I will be going to Romano Subaru from here forward
