Went here a few times for parts when I needed them and service has always been a miss, this time it was really bad. Myself and another man went in, no one seemed to be around, my remark was "is this a free for all"? Finally a person approaches the front desk. This woman (wearing a mask of course) cuts in front of both myself, and the gentleman I walked in with. The clerk, instead of helping those in line first proceeded to cater to the woman's every need which included getting an air filter and oil, while we both waited 10+ mins in addition to waiting for someone to even come to the counter. I did observe however, on the way out the same woman pouring the oil into a reservoir of pink liquid. Karma will hit!

Arrived to pick up an online order at 8pm on Thursday and they are closed even when they close at 9pm Mon-Fr. Terrible store and misleading, next time I'll just go to Autozone, they even took off the Speedperk coupon I would have gotten at AdvanceAuto for my inconvenience.

I love this particular advanced auto. They are forever friendly and helpful. Ive had full blown deep conversations with the employees there. They always have what i need when in a bind and if not they will search all their stores for me also if they dont carry what im looking for they point me in the right direction to handle my auto problems. All and all they treat like family

This location had very knowledgeable staff compared to some of others I've been to although it they can all be mechanics of course. But the manager suggested that I look at the clearance rack first before purchasing something that was full price and I thought that was really really cool and really appreciated that. So whatever supervisor or male manager was working on Sunday night late afternoon should get a little bit of props from upper management as well as the female working that night as well they were both great and in a very positive mood and a pleasure to be around. It's the same as AutoZone just some different brands but I have found that Advanced Auto sometimes tends to have a little bit more of the inventory I look for when I'm doing electronics and or exterior stuff I think it's got a better selection than the other stores. Just wish they had better incentives for purchasing goods from the store. Also wish they had more performance parts in stock although I do drive a Volkswagen so most places don't have it in anything in stock that will fit it. But can be there within the next day. If you never been to Advance Auto Parts it's an easy store to navigate and they're very helpful and the star in particular seems like it was positively run and the staff was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Broke my wiper blade on water to work stopped in a very sweet helpful woman not only assisted with the selection but did the install first thing after opening. Love this store not the location so much. Less desirable neighbors. But safe location.

With Shelly as manager this place is in good hands. The guys at this location were always( most of them) good at customer service, but Shelly is phenomenal! Also, as a woman going in to auto supply stores, I always brace myself for the condescension that is so common at auto supply stores, mechanics, Home depot, Lowe's,( really anywhere that is traditionally men's world) but when I walk in and see a woman at the counter, I feel very hopeful that things will be different here, and they were! Smart move hiring and promoting Shelly. SHE'S GOOD FOR BUSINESS.

I had a local garage tell me my battery was so low it wouldn't read on their machine but had a gut feeling something was fishy. I went to advance the next day and asked them to check my battery. It read just fine and was in the normal range. The worker explained everything to me in terms I could understand and printed off the reading for me. 5 stars for being honest and not giving me false information in order to get me to buy a product I didn't need. Thanks!

It's bad enough, they have a crime gate inside the windows. Says a lot. But in a time when every sale matters, they have the nerve to violate my eight with their mask rule. I will not give my money to any company who thinks this is OK. I hope they're aware that the fine for violating the civil rights act protections is a minimum of 250k

Their online catalog is the best I have ever seen. My vehicles are stored in my account and when I need a part it finds it for me. It tells me immediately which store has it and they ship to the store I chose if out of stock. I pay online and pick up in the store if I chose. It's just too easy.. I love it and they also have a great rewards system that adds up with each purchase.

It's hard to find good help these days. Both guys working were swearing about a service center calling for help again but not staying on the phone because of being put on hold. Fast forward to my turn, I ask for a hand on lugnuts to be sure that I snagged the right ones. Gave my vehicle and he said they don't carry ATV parts. I reply "A Jeep Glatiator is not an suv, it's a Jeep pickup..." His reply, oh down south they have an ATV with the same name. Nope, that's a Gator but nice try. I ended up finally extracting the info I needed and Googling the rest because no one wants to help. I won't be back.

If I could give no stars and write a review I would . This place customer service is horrible ! I came here today to purchase a glass for my side mirror . There were 3 people at the counter who work in the store not one came to ask me if I needed assistance.As I waked up and down the aisle they continued to talk and ignore me . My grandson told me he had to use the bathroom really bad . The worker looked up and said we don t have a restroom . The only acknowledgment I received was we don t have a restroom . I continued to look for the item and no one still came to assist me . My grandson again stated can I hurry he really had to go and he can t hold it . I understand not allowing public to use the restroom but a 5 year old little boy in your store who is sitting on the ground because he has to go really bad should be an exception. I was then told I can take him outside to go ? This is beyond disgusting !! If I was assisted in the beginning I could have been on my way . I still left with no assistance! Piss poor service no pun intended

Great products, great price, but the staff just seems miserable, talk down to you. Strikes keyboard like they are digging for gold because you asked for a part number. You ask a question about a part and are assaulted with "well it's your car you should know" "why are you asking me"

As many people below me have said, the employees at this store are incredibly rude. Every single time I've been there, I get treated like I'm such a waste of their time, like it's such an inconvenience to actually interact with a customer - even when I'm doing nothing more than buying a new wiper. On my most recent visit I had some questions about repairing a scratch on my car, and they were answered as curtly as possible, then the guy walked away from me before I could finish asking everything I wanted to know about. I left the store and went to Napa instead, where I received MUCH better service. The guy there was nice, patient, and answered every single one of my questions. The scratch repair product I was looking at cost about a dollar more than at Advance Auto, but I was happy to pay a little extra for receiving better service. I'll never give another penny to Advance Auto.

Great customer service working with Paul. Polite, friendly and informative. I left there with new and useful knowledge about my car. And he even helped me find the best deal on the products I was shopping for! 10/10 !

The simple fact that they check your battery for free is always a plus a lot of other places charge you for that but you could generally find anything you need for your car even if they have to order it you can get it depending on where you go the staff is more knowledgeable and friendlier but that's definitely part of retail unfortunately you have some people that like what they do and some that hate it but I like the store

This place has very rude people. Requested warranty info on Honda CRV transmission, I inquired about, he indicated there is no such info, but while I insisted to have the info to make a decision on whether to have it ordered or not (after all it was going to cost me $2100.00!!), the black young man so he sounded (not profiling!!, I am black too) simply hang-up on me. Mr Manager, I think you have some work to do on your staff, unless you are like them too!

Been going to advance autos 4 years & now they have a new return policy on electronics if you plug it in they can't resell it I never heard of such a thing . I won't be going down there buying anything electronic I'll stay @ Walmart & Best buy places like that!

I went into this store today. There were no please wear your mask signs and when I walked in, the manager and another sales person both did not have their masks on while handling customers. Other customers in the store also failed to have any sort of face covering either. I will never give this place my business again and will be reporting them to Onondaga County.

This place is horrible. I've been here twice and both times the employees were rude - when they could be bothered to stop looking at their cell phones and actually do some work, that is. They made me feel like I was bothering them by asking a simple question. I'll never go here again. I went to Autozone right after and they were nothing but friendly and got me everything I was looking for.

Very helpful staff. They explained how to check my transmission fluid and then did it for me. They change my wiper blades too.
