I came to them to replace rear struts in my 2011 BMW 328xi. Owner and his team were knowledgeable, courteous and respectful to deal with. Not only did they beat the price at the BMW dealership they did the work so quickly. I had mentioned nuisance alarms that I had and they cleared them at no extra charge. I didn t think I d feel a difference with the ride but I was wrong. My 2011 BMW now drives like it s brand new with all systems working (no more alarms). I couldn t be happier and glad I went to them to fix my car. They will be the only shop that touches this car moving forward.

I had an excellent experience at Verazzano Motorworks. I brought Luigi my 2011 328i and he was able to diagnose its problems immediately. He had me come into the shop so I could visually see the defect parts before work started. It was an extensive job to change the oil pan gasket and he sent photos as the job was progressing. He was actually good enough to give me a lift home. All his parts are BMW , therefore excellent quality. If you want professional, quality work this is the place to go. I actuall received a text from them weeks later to see if all was ok

Highly recommended shop if you have bmws. Owner and his team are very knowledgeable and they knew how to repair the issues with my 2006 330xi. They were a bit busy but repaired mine while i was waiting. I have been looking for a shop for my bimmers since I moved to SI and this place seems to be the one.

Luigi, Eddie, Pete and the business at Verrazano Motorworks are top notch. They do reliable work and are 100% trustworthy. The guys are real car enthusiasts themselves, trained BMW techs (one is a master tech), and are working on their passion as a job - that's the kind of shop I look for and am glad I've found them on Staten Island. They stand behind their work with dignity and pride, and are good people to be around. They'll have my business and the business of my friends & co-workers.

Luigi and the rest of the staff are good, honest and reliable people. I went in with a problem with my Audi and it was fully resolved within a few days. They communicated the issues clearly and did everything they said they would. I will be using them in the future.

I Brought them my 2017 e300 mercedes benz for no start. On Monday 2/21/22 . I have already diagnosed my self and I knew it needed a starter. They ran there only diagnosed and came to the same conclusion. So we agreed it needed a starter they wanted 600+ for the starter it would be there by Thursday..then 3 1/2 for labor to replace it. Price is high but I ignored it. I told them I can order my own and get it sooner. They said ok. By Wednesday they call me telling me if u can't get the starter there by the end of the day they would start charging me storage fee. The car has only ben there for 2 days and they couldn't get a starter sooner then Thursday but want to charge me storage by Wednesday and they couldn't even finish the job If they wanted to cause they couldnt get a starter.. I took my car and had the starter out on the side of the road in 30 mins so how did u get 3 1/2 hrs labor.. place is a rip off and money hungry

My 2004 BMW X5 4.8is needed to have Valve Stem Seals replaced, and Verrazano Motorworks did a great job. They were very communicative throughout the entire process, and it was clear were very knowledgeable about BMWs. I would recommend them to anyone needing work done on their BMW.

I called early for an appointment and was told i could bring it in whenever worked best for me. Customer service on the phone was great - respectful and personable. When i brought my car in, I was offered an espresso which was much needed. I had an oil change done which was very quick. I heard my brakes squeaking so they checked it out and said that they were fine. I had a vehicle inspection done as well and had them check my tires in general. Overall, I had a great experience at Verrazano Motorworks. I met both owners who were also very personable. Would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone who needs any mechanical work done.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I don t like writing negative reviews because I know what it s like owning a business but I ve had a headache ever since I took my car here. I took my 2005 BMW X5 here because my car would start but after moving about 20ft the car would just die, I also has a check engine light. The car was fixed and it cost me $1,800. I was happy and was on my way. About 3-4 days later my check engine light came back on and I was confused why bc I had just spend all that money in repairs. The car was brought back to the shop and they told me they would fix it for a additional $800. I said absolutely not. This is the only shop I ve been to where I paid almost 2 grand in repairs and my car was still not fixed. I m not sure if they just didn t feel like fixing all the repairs the car needed or what the case might have been but that s that.Service: Engine repair

I found Verrazano when I googled BMW mechanics. I highly recommend anyone with a German made car to go here! Luigi and Ed , along with the rest of the crew there are highly skilled and trained at their craft. With over 30 years experience working on foreign cars, they were able to diagnose my vehicle and fix the issue quickly and efficiently. Verrazano Motorworks is a very professional establishment and was recommend by a friend . I went in to have rear brakes changed. Sent an email explaining what I needed and received prompt replies and transparent pricing. No bait and switch. Dropped the car off and picked it up a couple of hours later. Upon arrival, they showed me the parts replaced, paid and was on my way. This was one of the easiest dealings i've had with a car repair shop.The staff was very friendly, communicative and highly knowledgeable . If you have a foreign car and need a trustworthy mechanic, this is the place to go to.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brakes, Oil change

They have my 2008 Volvo xc70 running like new! I brought it in for scheduled maintenance and I was able to drive off with my car THAT day. My car doesn't have that obnoxious squeaking noise anymore and it drives much smoother than it used to. You guys have a customer for life! be careful when doing business with these guys. They told me that it was gonna take 10 hours and 2500$ to get my car fixed. I went to another place to get it done and it took 1 hour and only 150$. I don t recommend doing business with them, they are money hungry and don t deserve anything but 1 star.

Luigi & his staff were very professional & knowledgeable, but more importantly was his honesty & his willingness to explain the diagnostic results. I rolled in from out of town with minor car issues. I got a recommendation to take my car here so I did. I listened to them lie to me for 10 minutes about what was wrong with my car before telling me it would cost $3500 to fix. Unfortunately for them I've been working on my BMW for 4 years so I asked for my car back and drove straight to the nearest autoparts store where I spent $700 for parts AND tools which I used to fix my car in under 3 hours.I gave two stars because at least they didn't do additional damage to my vehicle and they were understanding when I requested my vehicle back.Service: Battery

I've been using Verrazano Motorworks for a number of years now. Luigi is the go to guy, he takes his time with your vehicle, keeps you inform about every step of the process, he treats your car like it was his own. I trust his inputs and recommendations. There are not many BMW professionals around like him. I came across this place by reading the reviews and everyone was correct about what they said . Lugui was very knowledgeable and honest about his diagnosis about my BMW X5 . He repaired my coolant pump , thermostat and battery and did an overall inspection of my car. I m very satisfied with his service. I will definitely return for all my car maintenance. My car is a 2013 Audi A7 and needed a new exhaust system and motor mounts, they did the job quickly, efficiently and professionally and showed me the old parts as well. I was very happy with the job and am grateful to find a professional Audi Car repair shop and highly recommend them for Audi repairs.

anybody that has had a bad mechanic knows the value of great foreign car mechanics. i have a 2000 BMW that needed a lot of front end work. i got it fixed near my house and it was a nightmare, costly and not fixed right. i had an issue with my blinker and i went to Verrazano Motorworks and they were able to repair it for 40 dollars! They also fixed all the front end work that my previous mechanic messed up. Luigi knows BMW s inside out. since then i have gotten my headlights fixed up, for years my fianc� has been trying to get the cloudiness out of them, they came out wonderful! i recommend Verrazano Motorworks for any bodywork or suspension issues!

Let s just say even if it s the most simple job as much as a radiator replacement these guys want a $1000 or more per job and I gotta say they are not very good at trouble shooting I hate to leave a bad review due to the fact that I own a business take it there at. 5 stars for these guys, my brother brought his 328i to them a while back and got it fixed for a wet battery connection or something and then after buying my car from a terribly incompetent dealership that ultimately sold me a car that died, and bringing it to another shop on hylan and leaving it there for over a week with 0% progress I asked what shop it was my brother went to, it was Verrazano!! I brought it to Luigi at Verrazano Motorworks, beyond amazing service! Found my main issue within the first day they looked at it, also fixed a few other things that needed replacement aswell as installed a few cosmetic things I requested, had it fixed and ready to go for me in no time, very transparent and has no problem showing or explaining any concern you may have. Now I m back to work in my car finally! Thanks so much again guys!BMW X5 E70

Found VMW on Google. Read the overview and reviews decided to take my 20 yr. Old Mercedes slk 230 there to have a new ECM INSTALLED, had almost lost hope until I met Eddie & Luigi. Man they diagnosed the exact problem, told me what's required , how long it may take and assured me it could be done no problem. And man were they right! These guys are amazing, professional and welcoming. I've found my mechanics for life. Don't drive by this auto repair shop, foreign car experts at their best. P.S. the cost was on par & fair for the work needed.Service: Electrical repair

Had trouble with the wiring of my passenger side mirror. I had went to another shop where they did a terrible job and the features of the mirror ended up not working after they "fixed" it.Luigi and Eddie were able to help fix my mirror quickly and were very professional throughout. After visiting numerous mechanics due to a check engine light on my Mercedes that would keep coming on, I finally found this establishment and boy am I glad I did. Luigi is a highly skilled and very professional European car specialist. If you have a high end European car, this is the place to take it to. I was treated professionally, everything wrong with my car was explained to me, and after the work was done I was shown the box of parts taken out of my car to complete the repair. Had some miscommunication with a former employee which is no longer with the business. Luigi did everything in his power to make it better! He is a great guy and an amazing mechanic! Family run Business, highly recommend in NY NJ area, perform and specialized in All Engine work, If you need Engine Work, have money and can leave car for few weeks this is your Surgeon. Any negative feedback that you see are from people like that 'certify mechanic' below that went to the autozone to buy 'BMW Parts "AND" tools...... and "perform" the job! Forgot to clean his hands because he was in rush to leave bad feedback...My Car is smooth, engine is sharp better than new, BMW PA, BMW NJ, both of them diagnosed my Engine as not repairable, Maybe they should send their mechanics to Eddie&Luigi to get Training how to fix engines instead of selling new cars.Service: Engine repair
