Shane and his family are hard working, honest and genuine people. I can't say enough good things about my experience at The Polishing Pad!I was unfortunately involved in a hit and run just before the holidays but these folks took care of me and had my car looking good as new. The paint matching was excellent despite the challenging color of my BMW. They have some extremely talented techs there that were able to repair and repaint all of my damaged panels - which went a long way as I was paying out of pocket. Simply put, Shane and his team are quick, communicative and produce high quality work.Happy Holidays and thanks again!

I never leave reviews but for the experience my parents had we have too. They were recommended by my mom s friend who has been using them for years. Shaun and his staff were amazing. Always kept in contact with them to inform what was going on with insurance companies. The car came out perfect and my parents were very happy. Omggggggggggggggg talk about good they are so phenomenal, honest and reliable. I refer them to friends family and anyone who have gotten into a auto incident,accident or has a dent or scratch. I will never go to no other auto collision or Bodyshop ever even if I was to live all the way across the world thank you!!!!! Had some body work done by this place. Shane handled my situation with care and concern. Took care of EVERYTHING from calling the insurance company to setting up my rental car. Even put me in a uber to go down the block to get the rental because it was faster then waiting for them to come get me. Beautiful work they did. Even detailed the car after they worked on it. On top of all that, one of the cleanest body shops out there. 100% recommend.

I never leave reviews but for this experience I have to. I highly recommend the polishing pad. Shane was amazing throughout this entire process. I was so upset with how my car looked BEFORE I brought it in and when I got it back today it was like nothing happened. I am so impressed with their communication skills and not once did they make me feel like I was bothering them. As busy as they are, they never failed to answer the phone. So genuine and honest, can t thank you guys enough!!!

I recently had to take my car in for repairs due to an unfortunate accident where my car was hit on the side. I was a bit nervous about the whole process because of prior auto body shop experience. I was recommended by Thomas and Eric to have my car repaired at The Polishing pad. This is where I met the gem of the company-Shane.Shane and his family, at the auto repair shop put all my worries to rest. From the moment I brought my car in, they were incredibly professional and friendly. He took the time to thoroughly inspect my car and give me a clear understanding of the damages and the repairs needed.Throughout the entire process, Shane kept me updated on the status of the repairs and provided me with timely progress reports. Shane was always available to answer any questions or concerns that I had and went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the repairs.When I finally got my car back, I was amazed at how great it looked. The repairs were done to perfection, and my car looked like it was brand new. Eric, thomas, and the team had done an exceptional job, and I couldn't be happier with the work they had done.Overall, I would highly recommend Shane at The Polishing Pad auto repair shop to anyone in need of car repairs. I highly recommend the POLISHING PAD for any type of auto body repairs! My daughter s car was involved in an accident in January after sliding on ice. They came to New Jersey to tow car back to Staten Island and within a couple of weeks the car came back like the day I drove out of the showroom. Shane, who owns a family run business was more than helpful and an expert in the field. They handled everything from A-to-Z, including dealing with the insurance company. This was a painless process that was dealt with ease. I ve dealt with many body shops over my over 40 years of driving. Polishing pad is obviously the best one I ve ever dealt with. On a rating of 1-10 I give them a 25!

I was recommended the Polishing Pad from a dear friend. My Tesla was involved in a head on collision. And needless to say I was upset. This Car is my baby.Went to the Polishing Pad where I met Vaughn Dr/ Jr and Shane. This is a family business. First and foremost know this. And honestly I felt like Family meeting them. I apologize going on about the ownership and not the vehicle but this is very important.The attention to detail. The communication. The ability to work with you through the entire process. And the final product. Better than Tesla's own factory. My Model Y Hood was never lined up properly by Tesla. Even took it to service center to adjust and they didn't do anything. They said it was as good as it gets. Clearly they never heard of Polishing Pad cause THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS.Trust me. I am a first time and life time customer for these guys. I was impressed the moment I got there.Trust that you're in the right hands. They restored my Tesla to better than factory perfection. And once again they're the most awesome, kind hearted and sincere people. Gentlemen I would even say.Thank you Guys for what you've done. Thank you for restoring my car. No one wishes to see the Autobody soon cause it's under bad circumstances but I wouldn't mind seeing them again ! The service that polishing pad offers is above and beyond. Shane and JR make you feel like you are a part of their family and guide you through the whole process flawlessly. Got a small scratch on my brand new Acura Type S. Took it to them and I saw the work they had done on another NSX and I was sold.They are family driven, honest, friendly and fast I got my scratch fixed in 2 days and car looked better than new. Vaughn Junior even gave me a discount since they did not have to do both doors.I m glad I found this spot

My Lexus was hit front bumper I knew where I was going to go for my repair. With a previous accident with my vehicle took it to another shop was a mistake I didn t want to make same mistake again. so researched the polishing pad and I was blown away with their service top notch both Shane and vaughn were amazing and were very through and awesome my car looks amazing and quick in return from them this is the place for any of your auto body needs look no further thank you will in the future definitely return .

Been coming here since I was a kid crashing my car every month. The reason I come here first and foremost is the people. Vaughn Sr, Vaughn JR , Phyllis and Shane have become family. Never a dull conversation and they ALWAYS do right by everyone. My car is a very specific and custom vehicle and they always handle It with the upmost care. I have been through some pretty rough situations in my life and just seeing these people and hearing don t worry man it ll all be alright we will get t back to how It was before this allowed me to sleep at night.. this shop has the most high tech equipment that I ve ever seen. The spray booth is 300,000$ alone just to give you an idea.. they Installed It not because they needed to, but because they wanted to upgrade from no dust particles getting on the car during painting to a machine that literally filters the air quality Inside let alone dust. On a 1-10 their work is a 20.. I m not affiliated with this shop in any way I have just been very fortunate to find then and be able to turn to someone who treats these crashes cars as if they were the r own. They do It all, from body work, wheel refinishing, custom paint, you name It, they can skill It. I genuinely love this place. Thank you guys for being so awesome! How anal am I about my cars? I have the shop by my side and really happy that fate brought me to them - AutoBody shop @thepolishingpad Why I chose them? There work only qualified and professional people. They paint the cars only with expensive and high-quality paints. And it 100% it match to the color of car (I have hard color Ruby red. But for them it s not a problem) Repairing machines without future problems.and they were advised to me by a large number of people (!) who are also pleased with their work. What else I like about them - is their professional approach to each client. Amazing job, fast terms, excellent price, high-quality (!!!!) and proper work!

The Polishing Pad never disappoints! Picked my car up today and it looks brand new! My car came out immaculate, and that wasn t even the best part of getting the work done at this shop. The way Shane and Vaughn run that shop is amazing. Dealing with the two of them is such a pleasure. Shane was extremely helpful with everything, from being extremely responsive to dealing with my insurance company to helping me deal with the rental car, Vaughn helped me out in the beginning explaining the whole process with me and made sure the little details that I didn t even ask for were done. They run this shop like a well oiled machine. Can t say enough good things about this shop and again they do amazing work!

The Polishing Pad is hands down the best shop I ve been to in New York. No shop even comes close to the service they provide. From handling insurance, communication and getting the car fixed, it was a very seamless process. I would highly recommend anyone to go to them for any type of Bodywork.

I AM THE OWNER OF 2017 BLACK EDITION HONDA RIDGELINE. THE TRUCK HAD A FEW DAMAGES. I WAS LOOKING FOR A BODY SHOP TO GET THOSE DAMAGES FIX. I SHOPED AROUND, SPOKE TO A 5(FIVE) DIFFERENT BODY SHOP BRFORE I FOUND THE POLISHING PAD. I DECIDED TO GO WITH POLISHING PAD. THAT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION.VAUGHN AND SHANE, TWO BROTHERS, THE BEST OPERATORS THAT I EVER MET.THEY WENT EXTRA MILE FOR ME. THEY KNOW THE BUSINESS; THEY ARE YOUNG, PROFESSIONAL, SMART AND HONEST. THE QUALITIES THAT ARE HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS.THE GUYS DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON MY PICK UP TRUCK. THE TRUCK LOOKS BRAND NEW. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND POLISHING PAD. DON T GO TO ANY OTHER BODY SHOP! Exceptional customer service, outstanding work. Can't recommend them highly enough. The entire rear quarter panel of my car was badly sideswiped while parked. Shane and Vaughn worked with my insurance company to make what could have been a miserable experience as effortless as possible, and left my car looking showroom new.

I was involved in my first (& hopefully last) MVA via rear-end collision. I was referred to The Polishing Pad by a good friend of mine and I m beyond grateful to have had worked with them. Prior to this, I had 0 experience dealing with insurance companies, understanding vehicle adjusters / appraisals, and rental agreements. Thankfully, Shane walked me through the entire process and gave me complete reassurance with my claim. He was professional, always gave prompt responses, and made sure my case was well taken care of. 10/10 recommendation

I'm not one for reviews, but when I receive truly outstanding service it feels necessary to share with future potential customers.My Mercedes suffered an unfortunate massive rock chip high up on the drivers door - right down to the steel. I do my best to make sure the car is pristine and it was painful to have a scar in such a visible location. I hemmed and hawed as having the car painted seemed like a massive risk. The pain of seeing the marks each day outweighed any potential risk so I went looking for the most reputable shop I could find.I followed the reviews and landed at The Polishing Pad. I had such a great experience with Vaughn and Shane - they completely understood my protective nature and were extremely transparent about the process and how they would handle the vehicle. As some of the other reviews have mentioned, it did feel like they were treating me like family.Once aligned on the work and pricing (extremely reasonable) I dropped the car off and was told it would be 3-5 days depending on their workload. 15 hours later I received a call from Shane saying the vehicle was done and ready for pickup around 5. One day turnaround! Given our conversations and the obvious level of care they said they didn't want the car stay on the lot exposed to the elements any longer than it needed to be. The paint job was impeccable and I'm extremely happy that such a anxiety ridden process went so smoothly. The cherry on top was that when I got in the car all the surfaces had protective plastic - steering wheel, shifter, and floor mat.Can't recommend Shane, Vaughn, and their team enough. Top notch service!Service: Painting
