It's nice to find people who stand behind their work. I had tie rods replaced and a wheel alignment done. However I had a bent ball joint that was undetected to the naked eye so a week after the alignment was done the vehicle started to pull to the left. A little upset thinking he did something wrong, I maintained professionalism without showing my emotions and he pointed out after an hour on the lift that the ball joint was bent from an old Staten Island pothole about a year prior and I remember it. Anyway I had him replace the ball joint and he realigned the vehicles caster and camber adjustments for free. I tried to pay for it because I knew it wasn't his fault and he said he gives an unconditional warranty on his wheel alignments 90 days

Very pleasant and such wonderful service. Did a great job with my car and are honest which to me is so important.. would definitely recommend this place. There prices are also cheaper then other places because I did shop around for new tires and the quality of the tires they got me are excellent. Very happy and will go back to them 100 percent..

I was very happy with the service and the gentleman who took care of me. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I recommend ship ahoy auto and tire to everyone. I will definitely go back when I need tires or anything else

If I could give zero stars I would!! I would never recommend anyone get work done here. Initially everyone was very nice I went in to get control arms replaced on both my driver and passenger side. I left after the work was said to be completed. The following day I was driving on the garden state parkway. The car started going crazy my speedometer stopped working and the car was so loud I couldn t focus. I pulled off to the side to see if I had a flat because that seemed like the problem. It wasn t. I continue to drive and the vibration becomes worse. I know nothing at all about cars so I call a friend who s a mechanic. He suggested the lug nuts were loose. Just as they told me this BOOM my car spins out and I pull the emergency brake to stop. I lost my driver side tire and the passenger side was on by a thread. I could have lost my life!!! I call to tell them and they say well your ok right. Ok???? No I m not okay I could have been killed due to the negligence of this company. Who forgets to tighten lug nuts and bolts!!!!! After a tow truck and new screws and bolts I also had a cracked tire rod and hub and they said it wasn t their problem. Do not go here unless you want to lose your life !!

This shop is great. The guys there are quick and get the job done. The prices are fair and you never pay for what you don't need. You are never surprised to get your bill they are very accommodating.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!Just went today to have 2 tires replaced and I'm very disappointed. They scraped my rims and bent one of them than the guy who did the job tried to tell me my rims were scraped already and I had original tires on these rims. If you have nice alloy or chrome rims avoid this place because refinishing and straightening will run you at least $150/rim. They have old equipment which won't do good job on 18" or bigger rims.

Just got my car repaired at SHIP AHOY AUTO REPAIR. Anthony did a fantastic job on my car and I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs mechanical work on there car.He is an honest and reliable mechanic and does excellent work!! JAMES

The owner is nice but gets upset if asked too many questions, and got rude towards me and misunderstood what I said and them ganged up on me with the rest of the workers, intimidating and verbally abusing me for no reason when I didn't even say anything out of context.

They nice guys but "offer" extra services. Simple tiny crew removal lead to internal patch installation... Never will go there again...

i wish there was a -1000 rating. charged me five dollars to check and fill air into the tire. wanted another 10 dollars to figure out which tire was punctured.

Had a power steering leak, Ship Ahoy fixed it faster and cheaper than I expected. Have been there three times now and have had a good experience three times.

Every time I go there for a tire plug it s a different price first time was 10 $ second time 14 $ I guess they can charge for whatever they want .....

Do not use this shop. �Do not use this shop. �Yesterday they did a rotation for me these stupid guys did not tighten wheels bolts on 3 of 4 wheels. �I was fortunated to find this today, imagine what could have happened if i didnt.

Came here for a flat, they were quick, but prices is expensive ( $12) to just patch a flat. Seriously?
