These guys are great. Very responsive and polite. Will answer any question resulted to your car. Reasonable pricing too. I needed a transmission fluid to be replaced and they did an outstanding job. Sometimes it's better to call beforehand as they get busy. Overall, definitely recommend this shop

I've been getting my cars fixed here for 2 years. Their customer service is helpful and attentive. The service is great too.Update! it s been over a decade. I used to go because they re local to me, now I travel a distance for the great service and affordable prices. I started using them when I was a new car owner. They schooled me on where I can save money on parts and where cutting corners becomes costly.

A little expensive labor rate but these guys are good and trustworthy.I once heard the owner tell a customer that he wasn't going to look into a part the customer insisted was broken when he found the root cause problem in another part because if he wanted to be fair to the customer instead of charging more to replace a a part that didn't have a relation to the issue.

Shockingly Negligent Service and Dismissive Attitude Towards Customer ConcernsMy recent experience at New York Tire Company and Service Center for my first oil change was an absolute nightmare. I entrusted them with the task of servicing my brand-new car, only to discover that they had not actually performed the oil change despite their claims. The consequences of their negligence became apparent when the low oil level warning light flashed on while I was on the highway, posing a significant risk to both my vehicle and my safety.Immediately realizing something was amiss, I contacted New York Tire Company and Service Center to report the issue. However, instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, the staff vehemently insisted that the oil change had indeed been carried out. It was utterly frustrating to be met with such resistance, especially when the evidence clearly demonstrated the contrary.In an attempt to verify their claims, I promptly pulled over and inspected the oil myself. To my dismay, I discovered that not only was the oil level significantly low, but it was also visibly dirty. This confirmed beyond any doubt that the oil change had not been done, despite their continued denial. It is deeply troubling that a reputable service center would stoop to such dishonest practices.In the hopes of finding a resolution, I returned to the shop to address the issue and request either a proper oil change or a refund. However, what awaited me was an even more disheartening experience. The staff at New York Tire Company and Service Center not only refused to acknowledge their mistake but also ganged up on me, dismissing the overwhelming evidence of their negligence. Their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior towards a concerned customer was completely unacceptable.As a consumer, I had placed my trust in New York Tire Company and Service Center to perform a basic maintenance task on my new vehicle. When we moved to Staten Island, I was warned about the likelihood of getting a flat tire - giant potholes, nails in the road, broken curbs and more. And indeed, I have had several. Until now, I would waste several hours waiting in one of the local national tire chains to get a new tire, even though I pass New York Tire Company every day on my way to work. With the latest flat tire, I decided to give them a call, expecting a high price. I'm DELIGHTED to report it was a great price for a top line tire, with quick, friendly service. Mark even showed me how they tested the destroyed tire to make sure it could not be fixed. I hope we don't get another flat, but if we do, this is now my go-to place. I also noticed they do auto repairs, alignments and more, which I may try in the future.FOLLOW UP: Another nail, another plug. In and out in less than 30 minutes for $15. Been taking my 2005 Chrysler 300 to the place for a decade; the guys are professional, courteous and fees reasonable. In fact taking my car in for annual inspection tomorrow.

This service was absolutely great to start. All the workers were extremely kind, fast and reliable. I told them I was in squeeze I had work soon and needed my tires fixed ASAP, and they were able to do the job perfect and at a faster pace. Even when I canceled my appointment for them twice they still treated me awesome. I ll definitely return for services I need. 10/10!Service: Tires

I was totally ripped off here. The owner kept insisting that I needed to get all these repairs done to be "safe" and they never even fixed the issue that I really was concerned about. If you run into any issues with the business, file a report at the DMV. If enough people complain, they will revoke his business license.

I knew this was a great place to bring my car being that they're trusted to work on Enterprise cars. Brought my car here for its latest oil change and got an excellent price of $60 for full synthetic. My car is now good for 6K miles. Definitely will be coming back next month for inspection and to have a few issues fixed.

Had my car serviced here after a really bad accident the owner Samer helped me a lot and walked me through the insurance process. I got my car back in just a week. I left Firestone and have not looked back. I have been coming here for years now. They are very friendly and kind. Getting a car fixed can be very pricey. They don't rush you into getting everything done at one time. They try to work with you. Mechanics tend to take advantage of females or people in general and I don't feel that they do.They aim to get the job done and done right and to satisfy the customer. I must say I am very satisfied What more can I say but check it out for yourself !! Thanks for taking care of Smoothie...

Although I was only there to have a simple flat fixed, I was treated great. Their customer service is awesome. While waiting for the flat to be fixed I asked about tires. He answered my questions with absolutely no problem. I will definitely recommend & will be stopping by when it's time to get new tires. (Which will be soon. lol;)Rich Colon...

The guy told me my car had a extra shake which it didn't he told me I needed tires but did not offer. I went for a wheel alignment so obviously its shaking. I felt dismissed not interested in going there again

Nobody likes to pay a high repair bill , but this place is very honest and the father who helps out is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet . I went there to change my brakes and fix the fuse on my radio. They called me and they said that one of my tires was so bad that it could have exploded while I was driving and it needed to be changed as soon as possible. They gave me a quote and I told them to fix all three items that. They called me that the car was ready. When I came to pick it up, they give me invoice stating that all the work was completed that I went to look at my car before paying and I saw that the tires all looked old as if they were not changed when I asked Sam who is owner or manager about it he told me he was going to ask one of the mechanics. At that moment one of the mechanics came out of the shop and told me that he changed two tires on my car instead of one. I told him that all four tires my old Michelin tires and as per their invoice they put new Goodyear tires on my car.so Sam came out with me and walked around the car and said that all the tires were indeed old and it looked as if they did not change the tires as previously stated on the phone and on the invoice. He apologized and said that he will take those items off of the invoice that but he told me that he gave. me fuse for free. That would mean that my radio was working.so I went to the car and turned it on to check if the radio was. working and it was not. I went back into the store and I asked him why the fuse was not fixed. He apologized and said that they must have forgotten it and asked if I could come back tomorrow to fix the tire and the fuse. Quiting Sam "we are all humans and make mistakes" that to which I said to him that "we do make mistakes but we don't charge people for them ". Terrible place: either they charge money for services they do not provide it or they are clueless. I'm not even sure what is worse. Don't waste your money

I've been a customer since 2011, I could never take my car anywhere else.Any and every issue I have had with my 2001 Nissan Sentra has been completely fixed at an affordable price. Pete gives it to you straight, and his guys work hard to get your car back on the road same day. They've done such a great job keeping my car running that it has saved me thousands of dollars by not having to purchase a new car. Definitely recommend you stop in.

The only mechanics I trust. Pete and Sam along with their staff are honest and professional. We all as car owners experience car troubles and it could be quite unnerving .That's when NY Tire Company steps in with a strong handshake and reassuring smile. Leave it up to these guys, they will get you back on the road at a very fair price. I go to no other place for my car needs.

This is a great company, a family run business that is very professional, courteous and helpful! The price was half of what dealer would have charged for my 2018 bmw. The father is a gem along with his sons. They are open early, dropped my car off in the morning to replace a tire run flat picked car up that afternoon. No hiddenn costs and was just a very pleasant experience. I am looking forward in doing business with them again. They are my new go to shop. I am a woman and most times places like to take advantage, these men are honest and it was a real pleasure to deal with them!

Fast service but way overpriced for flat repairs. I had two nails in one tire was charged $25 for plugging both holes. For that price there are plenty of shops that would have removed the tire off of the wheel, patched the holes, remounted and balanced the tire which is a proper flat repair. Plugging tires is normally the cheap fix since the tire is not taken off the rim. Would not recommend this place for flat repairs.

Friendly and efficient service with knowledgeable staff. I ve used them for my inspection, oil change and tire installation. No complaints for any of the services. Prices are pretty reasonable.

Excellent and immediate service. I recently started bringing my car (2003 Saab) to New York Tire Company and Service Center after my previous mechanic closed. I am so happy to have found them - they have been able to expertly service my car on various issues and have been great to work with.

Rip off they don't know how to diagnose problems such as my key switch I had to figure it out on my own before they charged me almost 300 dollars for (wiring)a job that I didn't need . Also change stablalizer links ,but they diets need to be change it was my tie rodes charge me 90 then tried to convince me that my car suspension was good when it really wasn't ... I know when my car is A1 and at the time it was no where near it . I found myself getting out of character twice curse them out and all I don't go for the swindling PERIOD ! On top of that guy change my struts which I had a warranty for through there company and the guy acted like he was doing me a favor by replacing them when in reality he had no choice because it's part of my warranty .. not for the fake mind games . They act nice and friendly but really will rape your pockets if you don't go in there knowing what your talking about . If u do go here and I would recommend anyone there , but don't let them tell u anything other then what's pertaining to the problem you came for . Lately I've been doing all the work on my car myself it's common sence and a little time out your day ...... WAKE UP PEOPLE MECHANICS ARE THEY MOST NOTORIOUS CON-ARTIST ON THE PLANET .

I can t believe this. A door on my car was not closing properly. They said it was fixed, it stopped working in a day. When I looked inside the locking mechanism, they just stuck some paper in there and something that looked like glue. This is the second time I ve come here for my tire needs. I most recently went in to replace a flat tire. The shop displayed excellent customer service. They listened to me and helped me find the right tire that was also in my budget. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. I would definitely come back for all my tire needs.
