I was charged and over charged for little things like windshield wipers when I had literally just replaced them 2 weeks ago, knowing I was buying the car off of the lease...I had an invoice from the service department in Staten Island of little things that were being charged to me and all of the prices were 10-20 dollars higher than your invoice. I was not happy at all...Victoria was wonderful...

WOW! Everything was absolutely AMAZING. This was the most seamless experience we have ever had leasing a car. Everyone is straightforward and transparent which you do not see nowadays. Thank you Tim, David and John! You all have been fantastic. Our new Tiguan is gorgeous. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Appointment scheduled for 9:30am for an oil change, dropped car off at 9:15am. Asked consultant how long the oil change would take to which they told me "hour and a half to 2 hours". I needed to pickup my kids from school and needed the car back at by 1:30. I called at 12:30 because I still hadn't heard anything about my car - the person who picked up was very rude and rushing me off the phone and just told me everyone was at lunch. I walked back to the dealership service center to ask for my car, ready or not. During my 15 minute walk back to the dealership I received the diagnostic report telling me what my car needs/might need in the future. To me, this seemed like my car wasn't even looked at until I called to check on the status. Long story short I wound up getting my oil change and car on time (1:30p), but it took twice as long as what I was told. It's an oil change - it takes 30 minutes at most. Also, if my diagnostic report was done earlier like it should have been, I may have opted for some of the additional items needing to be done, but not at 1:10pm when I needed it back 20 minutes later. Needless to say you lost out on that business and I won't be returning now.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Island Volkswagen, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I have worked with this dealership many times over the years. When I was ready to lease a car before the birth of my first child, I came all the way back to Staten Island to do it.My first mistake was expecting the sales team to actually care about the work they do.I leased an electric vehicle after being told time and time again that I could charge anywhere and would always have access to a charger. Lies.Then, to top it off, I was not shown how to connect the charger nor was I given my registration at the time of pick up. While the dealership did refund the cost of the ticket, their lack of ownership and oversight shows what poor customer service they really have.I will never lease a car with this dealership again and I wish I had been told about alternatives to an all electric when I told the dealership my circumstances.I did my research and then I went to the experts and found them to be beyond lacking.

Told service department that water pools under windshield its not draining out. I'm afraid it's going to eventually rust out. Service told me they cannot do anything because they don't want to cause bigger problems.
