After a harrowing experience loosing all power to my Yukon while driving on the expressway in the middle of three lanes of highway traffic and 2 hours of being stuck surrounded by moving vehicles, the experience at Staten Island gmc was a complete pleasure. After finding out that I needed a whole new engine from the manager Ken, the process couldn t be smoother. Ken was able to provide me with all the info I needed and a brand new loaner Yukon. Needing a whole new engine, I expected to be without my truck for at least a month. This was not the case. Ken and his team where able to get my truck back to me in two week and it has been running perfectly since. I would like to thank Ken and the mechanics who worked on my Yukon for doing an exceptional job. Keep up the great work guys.

The coupons are total scam and the service reception is a big LIAR! The rude (over-tanned, wrinkled) woman in the service area won t honor the coupon for oil change and tire rotation. Initially, she told me that the price for the oil change and tire rotation total is $89.95. I said I have a coupon then she said to show her. I showed her a coupon for $69.95 for both services and she said it s expired. Then I showed her a coupon for $10 off any service then suddenly she said that $89.95 is already with a coupon so she cannot apply the coupon anymore. I was so confused! Then I mentioned that when you make the appt. online it said $70 for both then she said - OK, go to the website and show me! - Whoa! What excellent people skill and service!May I add I m Asian, she s white. She looked at me and talked to me like I m beneath her. You know what I mean!Buick STATEN ISLAND- you need a better customer service person or you ll lose customers! I am not going back. Remember, you re not the only car sales and service center!

Had an 8am appointment but no one was there to receive my car.The mechanic opened the gate at 815. When I made my appointment a month earlier on the App, I specifically said state inspection & 7500 maintenance but when I arrived they said their state sticker machine was not working for about 2 weeks. The Service rep didn t call to confirm my service until 845am. Not sure why I got texts to confirm my appointment 10 times but no one called to say I couldn t get the inspection done. The mechanic said they can call another place. So now I inconveniently have to make a second appointment somewhere else. I have a reliable mechanic I use for my older cars and I think I will just go there for all my business unless it s covered by warranty.

Went to Island Buick/GMC to diagnose and address some issues on my 2016 Terrain. All they did was change the part i told them another shop said to replace and They changed some exhaust sensors that were already replaced, without permission! Then they offered a throttle bottle and fuel injection cleaning service which they higghhhly recommended to improve my mpg and and exhaust. The service rep highly recommended this and threw it into the list of things that should be completed and rushed me to make a decision, saying let me know now so i can tell the tech before he puts everything back together. They overcharged the hell out of the job that was charged to the warranty. Then they proceeded to overcharge all the out of pocket costs. And to add to the matter, they performed a 4-wheel alignment without my permission and charged double what i could have paid anywhere else!!!This place is a RIP-OFF!!!And then when i got my car back, none of the noises that i was concerned about was addressed! Only that of what another shop told me should be replaced. Do Not Bring your car for warranty or service work here! They also told me they would follow up with me because when i got my car back, it was making noises that it wasnt making when i brought it there!

Well, I brought my car in for water damage which turned into mold in my car. And they were only going to fix where the leak came from and not replace the rug which had mold damage. If it wasn t for the warranty rep that was there that day, I would not have had the rug changed. I got my car back after being at the dealership for 2 1/2 weeks and they didn t even bother to clean my car for me. The car still has a moldy smell, so I m not sure if they disinfected it properly either. I am susceptible to illness from mold, so I am hoping that there is not still mold damage in my car.

We came here today after multiple visits to other dealerships, including our previous one. Other dealerships gave us different answers and the runaround, but when we came here they were honest, direct, and made the process of finding the car we want so simple. It s so nice to find a dealership where even the GM cares enough about you to take time out of their day to make sure you re taken care of. Thank you, Jimmy! You re awesome! Edit-4weeks after purchaseI purchased a 2014 Chevy Silverado Hd from Island Buick a little over a month ago. The deal was made with the salesman agreeing to fix anything I found wrong with the truck when I took it home. Keep in mind, I live 1 1/2 hrs away and the deal was finalized on a Saturday night. The first thing I noticed was the smoke smell on the drive back home with my 8yr old. By the time we got home, my daughter s eyes were red and swollen and she had a cough. I didn t smell it on the test drive because a deodorizer was sprayed. The back door handle was broke, the front wheel hub needed to be replaced, driver seat needed to be fixed and the door stereo speakers were blown. I took the truck back the following Saturday with the list of issues needing to be fixed. The dealership kept it for two weeks before I finally received a call to pick up the truck. I drove another 1 1/2 (including tolls) to pick up my truck and the only thing fixed was the door handle and the driver seat. The smoke smell and stains were still evident. The wheel hub was not fixed and neither werethe door speakers. It s going on four weeks and I still don t have my truck. I m a start up small business, Bits N Pieces Cleanout Services, and everyday I m without my truck I m losing out on money. I purchased this truck with the sole intention to be used for my business, so I can pull a trailer. I ve lost out on three jobs so far and I m running out of patience.Update to original post .I had a great experience here, I would definitely recommend to come down here and shop for your next vehicle!!

I got a great deal on my 2018 Sierra SLT....loaded with every bell and whistle. Mike and Bruce treated me fairly and with respect. Very smooth transaction. Thanks.UPDATE 11-18-23. i took my 2022 silverado ZR2 in for an oil change and tire rotation. excellent service dept. ordered a part for a recall i didnt know about. service manager was very professional. mechanic was a good dude.
