Its a shame that I took my car here yesterday because an emission system problem ive been having for couple days brand new car and they werent able to fix it. Not only did I waste my time coming to brooklyn but also wasted my money. If you guys cant fix it just let me know. Brought it again to bayridge honda hopefully they do the right thing but I doubt it. Want to say thanks to kevin and jason for being professional but issue wasnt resolved. Update bayridge honda couldnt fix it told me I needed an appointment because they were very busy. Towed my vehicle back to honda of staten island where its currently being repaired once again. Kevin again called me stated they had found the problem with my car and provided me with a loaner. Still disappointed as I had to wait a week or so for a loaner and waste money. Thank you again and hopefully my car gets fixed asap second time around. Update again got my car couple days ago running smoothly no problems as of yet. Thank you Kevin and also for removing two small scratches on my car.

For the most part service was ok. I came in because the engine cover on the undercarriage of my car fell off on my highway trip to Buffalo. When technician had the car on the lift much more was discovered. End result was over $5000 in work including new tires. Although my 2016 Fit had only 20K mileage, there are many trips that are over 200 round trip. I need reliable, safe vehicle.I left the car and picked it up the next day. On the way home I noticed the tire indicator on. I called the service department to see if this was to be expected and if the vehicle was safe. I was told I'd get a call back. It never was, but I needed to leave for one of my 200 mile trips (I did tell that to the rep assisting me). The weather was terrible, heavy rains. I was confident in my newly worked on car. When I was ready to come home, I was greeted by my car with a very flat driver's side (new) tire. Luckily I was able to get assistance to get my donut on and travel home concerned about safety on a long highway drive.I never heard from the Honda person about my concern and hopefully Monday my tire can be safely put back (although it will take time for me to trust it). I hope whatever else was done to my car was nice done right, especially since I can't see what was done without crawling under the car. Not happy.

My vehicle was towed to Honda of Staten Island's Service Department by AAA on Sunday, August 6 after it broke down while I was passing through S.I. The entire time Honda of S.I. had my vehicle, they could not provide an expected completion date for my service. On August 11, I was told that my car was ready for pick up... Yay! But a short time later, I received another call saying that well, actually, it wasn't... Their bad. A specific tool was needed for my repair that they didn't have on hand, and it was expected within a week. That turned out to be false.Despite the length of time I was without my vehicle (which ended up being nearly a month), I was never offered a loaner and had to inquire about one; according to my service advisor, I was put on a list, but kept getting told that the dealership only has 10 and none had come back. I asked if the reason for the loaners not coming back was because others were experiencing long wait times for their vehicles as well, and my service advisor, Jason, said yes, that he'd even had clients who had waited months for their repairs to be completed. That was shocking to hear.On August 30, I was told that they still did not have the tool and they hoped to have it by the next week. But on August 31, my service advisor called to inform me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. The morning of September 1, as I approached my vehicle to drive home, I immediately noticed that a piece of the door trim was missing. No one had informed me of this. When I confronted both my service advisor and the manager on duty, they first said they hadn't been sure whether the damage occurred while the car was in their possession, then blamed it on recent car break-ins they'd experienced in their lot. Jason assured me he would order the part and call me when it was ready to be installed, asking for my patience as the Labor Day holiday was coming up.I received no follow up from Jason until I left messages for him on September 11 and 12. On September 12, he called me back to say the part was "on order", and it was quite apparent that the part had not been ordered until I reached out. He blamed it on someone else dropping the ball, which is really disappointing, since he'd personally assured me on September 1 that he would take care of it. Jason had presented himself as being sympathetic to my situation and wanting to provide excellent customer service, but between him NOT alerting me to the damage to my car (which he admitted he should have done) and then basically lying to cover his behind about not ordering the part as he'd promised, I cannot bring myself to say anything positive about the service I received. And let's not forget that, because of this missing part, the interior of my car door has been exposed to the elements for an extended period of time... But clearly, Honda of S.I. doesn't care one bit.I only had my vehicle taken here to avoid an additional cost of having it towed elsewhere; I now regret not spending the extra money. My time and peace of mind are worth way more. Avoid this service center if you can. Once I get this part, I plan to never deal with any of these folks ever again.

Took my car to this Honda repair shop and it is an understatement that these guys know nothing about their own cars. I asked to check the leak and give me an estimate, they end up damaging the car, engine, radiator, the car does not move and the told me they about 3k for diagnoses fee and I have to tow the car out of their garage. Then they have the nerve to send me a storage fee of 6k. Long story, I took them to the court and I am not lawyer and they have lots of experience in courts. They did not need a lawyer. Also, the held my plates from 8/2022.My best advise, stay away, these people have no business ethics and they will make as much as as they can.

Samer Moussa is the best service adviser, I dealt with two other advisers before meeting him and in my opinion he was the best, he explains everything with knowledge & detail! One thing I also like is that he shows you what services your car needs, such as transmission flush service, Brake fluid services exc with reasonings why one might need the services. I put my trust with him, the manager should be proud of him, congrats on having such an outstanding young man like him! See you guys real soon!

Horrible After passed the inspection, I drove my car here for drive shaft recall. I got the call from the service center, they said my wheel speed sensor is bad. I need to pay $500 to repair it. I m sure it didn t have any problem before. It must the mechanic damaged it. After that, my ABS signal light is always on because of the damaged speed sensor. If I know they will damage my car, I must won t come here for recall!

Was at the service location to service my leased vehicle for the first time.My service advisor was GEORGE HUANG. Absolutely no manners, was asking him questions about the service he didn t like that and goes to me - ok go ahead i will let you speak first with sarcastic smile. So i didnt pay attention. Then end of the service when i have to sign the paperwork he goes - I DONT LIKE WHEN PEOPLE SPEAK OVER ME . I dont know why he had to say that, was completely rude and unprofessional shame on honda hiring people like this off the street. If i could give 0 stars i would. Thank your GEORGE HUANG.

Went to Honda of Staten Island for an oil change on my 2024 Honda civic and they clearly don t know what they are doing they almost made me blow my engine. The filter fell out and the oil poured out right afterwards. Terrible service. Extremely unprofessional. If I could give zero stars I would. Honda you need to have more professional workers working on the cars.

My experience at the Honda of Staten Island Service Center , this dealership was terrible, the service is very poor and the customer service adviser spoke to me in a disrespectful manner, on top of that my car that has been there for over 4 days, did not get the repairs done, plus my right front fender had a few scratches from the facility. When I inquired about my car I was yelled at and disrespected by Marc Brown. His attitude towards me had drastically changed, compared with how he had dealt with the customers ahead of me. I felt targeted as if it s because of my ethnicity (Asian) and female. He had a few customers before me and I assure you this was not his demeanor. I highly strongly don t .. DO NOT recommend this dealership for not even used parts.

I bought my first car online. I was just curious and wanted to make sure my car was fine. I went to the Honda repair shop. Ask a staff member to check if anything is wrong with it. After 30 minutes, he came back. The car was fine, but he told me there were a couple things wrong with it that needed fixing. I m thinking it s not that much, maybe $600 or $500, but it cost me almost $1500. I was only lucky because I had my stimulus check. Every six months, I get my oil changed. They always want to charge me an arm and a leg or find something they can add on. Especially when brakes wear out five months later, they cost at least $500. When I need an oil change again, they come back with something else; they say my brakes need changing again. If they don t get me with that, they say I need replacement sway bars or ripped axle replacements that cost well over $2000, and then they throw extra stuff at me too. Showing the cooling and other stuff that needs to be recommended while I decline the offer. I just did the oil change. I went to another person who s non-Honda for a second opinion, and they said I don t have any issues.

This place has really gone downhill. Not what it used to be unfortunately. They will keep your car all day long and not do any work to it. Claiming to have looked at it and fixed the issue, when looking back they lied to us. Shady shady people working here they charge outrages hourly rates and managers will argue with you if you call them out on their unprofessionalism. Whoever owns this place should re consider who he has working there.

Team here is great, dependable. Told me everything I need without the pressure of doing it here. Answered all my questions about the issue, told me all my options. Complementary wifi, coffee, water so I could work while I waited at the available tables. Clean single person bathrooms.

A good experience with my purchase. However a 25% restocking fee is such a ripoff. That's why people buy online.

I had a recall, I also wanted to bring car in for oil change and inspection. Was told I would get a call back because I was told I have to leave my car. I wanted to wait. I have a 2008 Honda CRV and have been consistent with my service with Honda since purchase with them. I was also being charged 95.00 for what. I will never know since I didn6get a call back. Cancelled my appointment. I would never have known about recall until I went in their site. Never got a notice about it.

This place is pure trash, and that disrespectful manager Jeff is going out of line!!! I over heard him calling Arabic people sand n***ers and scammers when I was trying to figure why my bill was so high!! When they ended up discounting my bill when they found I was right the employees starting giving me an attitude and it s not a good place to get service on your vehicle when they re ripping you off!!!! I m gonna contact the BBB and Department of Justice for the discrimination that goes on around here!!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement

just paid almost 1000 for brake fluid and brake pads. I was originally told the price was going to be 500 and then ended up paying 825 at the end, had to pay since labor was done. The tech helping me 100% took the opportunity to scam me (specially since im a young girl.) He did not make clear how much exactly I ll be paying and was taking advantage of me the whole way. Do not go to get your car done here. Any mechanic shop will do it for less. Just went for the usual oil change and this happened to be my last visit before my lease is up. He knew what he was doing. He got paid $320 for just his labor itself. Stay away!! The ones helping me prior were so much more helpful.Services: Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

This place definitely rips you off if you don t get a second opinion/ On a 2021 Honda with 12000 miles they said I needed break fluid change because they checked it and it was dirty. I asked several auto repair places about whether I need to change break fluid and they all laughed. Their prices are also jacked up compared to other businesses.

I've used this place in several occasion over the years since it's in close proximity to my home but lately the quality service has gone down the drain. I historically like to do schedule maintenance done at Honda to get reassurance that I'm getting quality service and they will alert me of any issues but that's not the case. I'm lucky if I get a simple oil change done. I practically had to beg for the multipoint inspection to be done because they said they were too busy. Then I asked for a report and they had to go back to the tech and asked them to put something together which felt was just him checking boxes to get me out of the way. Last but not least they said they don't perform any type of diagnostics on the weekend not even the basic "VISUAL" multipoint inspection but felt more like a glance. It was a total waste of my 2-3 hrs on a Sat. Morning. I would have a better experience at the local BP gas station and probably cheaper. I asked to speak to Service Manager Jeff and he was very dismissive and suggested that I wanted a closer look that I should pay an additional $150 fee for inspection and bring it during the week. Unfortunately I work Mon - Fri. and need my car to get to work not to mention I shouldn't have to pay extra for what should be included on basic Oil change "Multi point inspection". I've taken my 4 other cars to Honda of Princeton where the difference is night and day. The only thing is they are about 30 miles away which takes me an hour to get there but at least it's done right.Service: Oil change

Please people do not use Honda Service of SI to have your car repair go get a second or third opinion from other mechanic. The salesman who names rhymes with (Saniel) seemed straightforward and understanding, but that was all a tactic. They show a list of things you might need with the price but don t make it clear what the total price will be. After telling me I would have to leave my car overnight and and shuttles me home I get a call from Saniel and he tell me that I can pick up my car and the total will be $2,723 that was NOT the price he quoted me earlier. I went in for nys inspection and a oil change small repairs if necessary but NOT 2700 dollars worth $1913.75 was all labor. I had no choice but to pay to get my car back and they still didn t give me a nys inspection sticker due to car reset. I have to go back after I drive my car for 50 miles. This whole experience was BS and a very expensive lesson learned. I will never go back to honda money grubbing and I implore you to save yourself the frustration.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change
