I use this shop 8 years ago to rebuild my Chevy avalanche transmission they did a excellent job at and affordable rate and gave me little over a year warranty on the part and labor. I have to recommend them thinking about taking a next vehicle there for them to check out for me.

These guys are magicians. I brought my 2008 Audi tt 3.2 quatro to 2 different mechanics before discovering this shop and they made my ride worse than it was when I got there. I was about to sell my car and a friend of mine recommended Sal at Gibralter transmissions. I was hesitant at first because this is a franchise and you know how much more franchises charge for even the simplest repairs. I told Sal my car issues and after a quick diagnosis he told me the part we need to change and gave me a price quote which pleasantly surprised me. I waited 3 months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure That the problems didn t reappear. Thank you Sal and his professional crew. I have and would recommend this place to anyone with any mechanic issues.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical
