I don t usually write reviews, but was compelled to say that Marty and Jimmy of Custom Car Tunes are two great and honest guys my car alarm wasn t working took it there and they fixed it no problem and did a great job. I would recommend going to Custom Car Tunes if you want it done right Tommy Honda element 2006.

It's pretty insane how great these guys are, definitely a hidden gem in Staten Island highly recommend these guys to do just about anything to your car or truck

I purchased and had installed a remote starter for my wife's car about 11 years ago under the previous owner. I went to Car Tune Customs yesterday (2/16/21) because the remote starter was not functioning correctly. I told them how long ago I had the work done. They fixed it in about 1/2 hour. I asked how much for the repair and was told, NO CHARGE! This was incredible. I have never been to a place like this before. If you need anything done that this company can do, go there and no place else. It was the most wonderful experience I have ever had with any vendor in my life. Hands down, the best. Thank you for your wonderful experience.

I had my first car tinted out here. Beautiful job. I also had my remote start alarm done here as well. Great job. They also did my car speakers too. If you re sensing a theme her it s because they do great work. I already have an appointment for them to add remote start to my new car. Cant wait to go back

Had a great experience. Had a stock radio swapped out for a radio with Apple car play. Not only did they take me right in after they got all the parts in stock but they did a great job with the install. I highly recommend them for any of your car audio needs. I m going to try and bring my car back to them by the end of the year to have them swap out my car speakers all around.

Called in for a 2019 Harley Streetglide stock radio flash. I got there about an hour and half earlier than appointment and the guys took care of me right away. Not only that but also gave me some tips regarding installing the sound system myself. Nice and clean shop. Price was half of other location I called for the same job. Done nice and quick.

Called to have a basic remote start installed on my brand new car. They gave me the most expensive quote over dealership quotes of $375 for a basic plug/ play kit and if I wanted a phone app feature it would be $350 extra. Very outrageous pricing for a subpar small place and basic installation. Go to jersey of Brooklyn if in the same region or even dealership. Definitely wouldn t recommend this place to anyone and do the reviews. Others have mentioned similar remarks.

my car remote fob was damaged my water, so I could not start up my car while the alarm was on. The guy came to my house promptly, disabled and remove my alarm in half hour, now i can use my car again! he charged me $160 for house service, this is very fair price. I am very satisfied. Great Job!

First time shopping here yesterday. Cool employees and very accommodating. I needed an empty speaker box for 2 12 inch speakers and although they didn't have one available they dismantled a box they had in store just to make the sale. Very clutch. Box was awesome and was just what I was looking for.

I am a first time customer of CAR TUNE CUSTOMS. I have an Audi S5 convertible It came from the factory with out a remote start So I was looking at buying one of the high end compstar kits. I inquired at several places even the dealer.I spoke to CAR TUNE they told me since I already have a proximity remote and alarm I didnt need that particular compstar kit all i needed was an add on remote start which brought down the price significantly!!! Nowhere else I inquired including the dealer mentioned that to me. (Car tune customs) they are good guys!! They will give you good price and a great job I recommend them if your looking to do custom work to your vehicles

Jimmy, I don't write a lot of reviews. Usually I'll only take the time if I'm seriously disappointed with my purchase or the service I receive.But in your case, I'm so impressed, I have to tell whoever is looking to upgrade their ride... you MUST see Jimmy and his crew.The installation of my new nav and audio system looks like it was installed at the factory. Absolutely clean and perfect. And the sound is incredible. Not overly "bass-y", but perfectly balanced, just like I asked.The work was finished exactly when promised (which was faster than I expected), and the price was more than fair - especially considering the quality of your work. You can definitely charge more and no one would complain.My father-in-law just bought a new Huyndai. He's going to need an alarm and remote starter installed. I'm sending him your way. Expect a call from "Vito". (I told him what I paid for my install, so don't go raising your prices just yet ;)Thanks again for everything!-Rob

I researched alot of places to have a new sound system installed in my classic car. After visiting Car Tune Customs and speaking with Jimmy I knew I came to the right place. They did a great job. I highly recommend them

I brought my car here in 2020.I have a Lexus LS430. The subwoofer was gone. It happens to have a 16 ohm resistance which is rare in car audio. I was told that they would put in an Audiopipe subwoofer with dual 4ohm voice coils wired in series. Today I had that subwoofer removed because it was tripping the amplifier safety protection. After putting in a factory speaker, I found that what was installed in my car was a single 4 ohm voice coils speaker. Not good. Now with a 16 ohm speaker the system sounds the way it was meant to without tripping a safety.

I brought my son's car to have new speakers and a sound system installed. Car Tunes was very professional, courteous, and got the job done perfectly! The stereo is amazing and the experience was great! Highly recommended!!

installed my stereo in vintage 66 Chevy, gave me an estimate that was very fair. I ordered my stereo on line and got an appointment as soon as the piece was delivered.. they installed the radio with no problems and it looks like it came from the factory..work was done faster than estimated and the cost reflected the quicker time..very happy with the work ..will use again for other projects..Jimmy was very personable and his staff did a nice job

I had an appointment I was on time and so were they. There very nice people very experienced they know what there talking about nice & clean job had no problems and my stereo sounds amazing. Very respectful thanks guys

Had a full audio upgrade here. Every time I've dealt with this shop something has gone wrong. First, they forgot to order my speakers. Second, they ordered my new head unit, but never told me it came in. When I called looking for it, they said it's been there on the shelf. I scheduled install and that morning they called and said they had to give it to someone else but mine was on Express delivery. It did come in that afternoon. After installing, I noticed am/FM didnt work. I didnt rush bac k as it's not that important. When I did take it back it was fixed but the next day unit shut down for over heating. Turns out insulation was disturbed and car heater warmed radio too much. They fixed that. Now the steering wheel control for up and down station selection only works intermittently. I'm tired of having to keep going back. The only saving grace is I'm temp out of work so I have the time. Otherwise I'd still have am/FM issue, but then again everything else would be working

Have had a few instillations on my Jeep here. Very neat job on wiring off-road lights and about to make a front bumper change. Very satisfied with their work.

Okay so mechanics, car folks and stuff have a reputation for being dishonest. However Jimmy is a straight up transparent honest guy. His crew is very communicative and pretty straight forward as well. If he can't fix something he'll let u know, instead of being greedy, ripping you off and disappointing. Got and installed a new radio from them, wasn't disappointed with the service or professionalism and I've been going back ever since.Victoria (Toyota Matrix)

Can't say enough good things about these guys. The installed a Alpine double din with Nav into my 2006 maxima. They were reasonable on price and took care of the job with precision and efficiency. They only had my car ready to roll in no time. Highly recommend using Car Tune Customs to anyone looking to hook up their system.

Amazing job putting in a new touch screen stereo system into my 06' TL. If you want to go somewhere you can trust and not have to worry about your car definitely go here very knowledgeable staff. Can't wait to go back for future projects.

Very expensive for nothing to talk about work. If you want to change like two lightbulbs on your car and you want to put decent bulbs in... it will cost you around $85 . Wow. In reality it should be like $30 thank God for the Internet .... saving people millions
