I ve been using the services of Ernie and his crew for close to 20 years. I now live in North Rockland . And STILL take my cars to this shop in Spring Valley. I have 100% trust in them and here s why: I ve gone to Mavis for tires or an alignment for various reasons. On several occasions Midas recommended all brakes be replaced immediately. I took it to Ernie who advised that I still had approximately 12,000 miles left on the brakes. Mavis also told me I needed tires at one point which Ernie was also able to refute. I had 7 more months on those tires. Trust is the key word here. I trust complete auto.

Ernie and his crew are knowledgeable and professional and know their stuff. The facility is brand new and spacious with a beautiful waiting area. They have extra large bays to accommodate bigger vehicles such as my Mobile Office.Would highly recommend this place for all your vehicle repair needs.Services: Transmission, Vehicle Inspection

If your money is valuable to you avoid this shop! I went in for a safety inspection, after waiting an hour in the waiting room they came back with my vehicle that it's failed the safety inspection, for two reasons first they took off One lug nut out of each tire so they can show me it's missing, and they probably did it because they want to catch me to do a brake job by them, but someone who steel lug nuts I'm not trusting with my brakes, Subtotal this shop seems far away from being loyal and honest

I can't believe it has taken me this long to realize I should write a review. I live in Manhattan. In 2015 I bought a 2000 Toyota Corolla from a neighbor who used to teach in Spring Valley so she would use C.A.R. for maintenance, and recommended I stick with them because they know the car well. I have! Ernie is the best. The absolute best. He is honest and accommodating and his prices are WELL worth the Brooklyn Bridge toll. There is a body shop ON MY BLOCK, attached to the building I live in. I grew up in the building I live in and I know the owners of the body shop. Always a hello, sometimes a brief conversation. I STILL choose to travel 45 min to C.A.R. because Ernie's pricing is simply honest. The body shop guys charged me $100 for an old change. At the time, Ernie's price for an oil change was around $35. Ernie and his whole staff are always friendly. It's a pleasure to go there, and I am so thrilled that they had the resources for their recent expansion. This place is amazing. I was referred here and I had car issues that I really couldn't afford to fix. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious but I forgot the owner's name but he went above and beyond for me. It's hard to find a good genuine mechanic who's not trying to pull one over you. This place is worth every penny. I appreciate their professionalism and good work. Keep it up.

I recently bought a car from Complete Auto Repair. Earnie had patience with my indecisiveness and didn't push/manipulate me to buy anything. The transaction went very smooth. I had breaking issues with the car two months later, so he replaced three rotors at no charge. I highly recommend this Mechanic/Auto dealer.The entire staff there is very friendly as well.

Always nervous when going to mechanics. I try to do all my own mechanics at home, but this time I had an issue I could not figure out. Brought my 2005 f150 in, and they charged a very very reasonable diagnostic fee. I am replacing the part myself. These guys definitely have my trust. Friendly, honest and won't try to F you.

They said they did my brakes. I brought back the car seemed like the brakes never done. They said cause my car was old...it was a lie. Had to take the car to someone else to get my brakes actually fixed and working. They rip you off big time. They do not perform the work they say they will do. Their cars for sale are way over priced with major problems. Do not trust these people!

I have taken my '02 Honda Civic to CAR for many years now, and their mechanics have kept it in excellent condition. I recently drove it to Buffalo and back without any incidents, and am planning to drive to New Hampshire this week-end without any worries. As long as I can drive, I know that I can entrust my car to CAR.
