If you own a European car, don t go there they charge me for brakes and they didn t put any of the electric connection. No rotors and lowest quality brake parts. MY tires all black due to the quality of the product and they still charge me The same money I pay for high-quality stuff. When I call them, they willing to not charge me for label, but I m forced to purchase the part which means I m gonna be the same situation.

Mario, Rachel and crew members were very friendly polite and professional make me feel welcome. A little too pricey almost $1000 for alternator, and New battery,.. just got car back so far is running good , let see in a week

How do you not put in the caliper bolts! This place is ridiculous! They have no clue what they are doing! I spent a ton of money on breaks, clappers and tires. Never again!!!!!! I learned my lesson . If I could give negative starts I would. -5 stars. Pay the extra money and get breaks done right somewhere else.

Had my car repaired for 2 tires and shocks . For the amount of money I paid I do not like the way I was treated . I was charged $945. I was basically yelled at after waiting more than 3 hours in shop for simply asking when they think they were going to finish up . When I left I felt so bad about the service I received I did not even want to have my tires rotated by these people. I gladly went to mavis and received much better treatment and care to finish my car repairs .

My husband had just left anther shop for new tires they checked over the car there as well but The inspection machine was down there so he went to Firestone for the inspection .He was told 45 mins so he left. Hes get a call within 10 mins yeh guy tells him he need windshield wipers , now it was raining so we know my wipers were just fine before this. He goes back to Firestone only to see my wipers have been torn.they failed my cars inspection because of this. He was upset and told them the wipers were in fine working condition before this. When he told them he was going to make a formal complaint he was told good luck , I m the manager here and the joke is on him then a different guy Rob said it wasn t going to end well for him he had just has a multi point inspection done at another place 35 mins before hw went too Firestone there were no issues there. also my daughter works for Toyota and they didn t do the NYSI there only because the car needed tires that s the only thing that needed to be fixed to pass. so your telling me 2 other places looked at the car and missed the wipers that cleared the window just fine till they touched the car ?! Then they want to quote him $65 plus tax to replace the wipers there to pass inspection! $65 for wipers! Come on! Then they also scratched my wheel ! beware of them the manger is not manger material ! I should have read the reviews before trusting them ! Multiple. People have complained about ripped/damaged wipers and not passing inspection because of this and other shady reasons. They must be struggling to get business there that they need to damage perfectly good parts to make money. Mind you this car is 3 years old way under mileage also well maintained. Beware! Stay away! Very unprofessional and not about customer satisfaction what so ever!

I don't feel the service on my work vehicle was performed as required in the standard maintenance contract for this van. My vehicle was supposed to have a tire rotation and was billed accordingly. However, I was in the lobby the whole time during this maintenance and never heard the sound in the service shop of an impact nut lug removing my van's tires. Also, I had a low tire warning before the service. This was never addressed either. Bad service. I've been to this Firestone location many times to service my work vehicle but will never go there again!

My boyfriend took his car here for inspection. His car is three years old. Says it wouldn t pass bc of a ruptured tire. He had zero knowledge of any rupture to his tire. Then proceeded to tell him he needed all kinds of filters and they offered a deal on the tires because they re having a special. He kindly declined. We took it to a local mechanic who confirm there s absolutely nothing wrong with his car and he does not need anything that they said he needed. So won t ever be going here again.

Just want to start off by saying excellent customer service. I value that in a car repair shop, may of been a little expensive for my blown out tire but they were able to change it right away, I didn t have to wait , the lounge area was clean and neat , the sun was shining , I was drinking my coffee , but overall I do recommend

Best customer service Anthony and Rachel were so patient with my concerns. Got me in right away. I had a mix up called an entirely different store. They got me on track and updated me on the correct number and information i needed. We have been coming to the Selden Firestone for years. Absolutely love them. This Firestone, gets the job done but has multiple times recommended a service that I turn down, and then upon a subsequent visit say that service was never needed, it doesn t give me confidence that they have the customers best interest in mind.

Doesn t even deserve a star-I went there to get my car inspected, I was a aware that one of the break lights wasn t working, aside from that I know for a fact the car was fine. However, I went in as a first (and definitely last) client and I was mortified with the excessive bill. They tried to charge $1900 with extra unnecessary and false damages the car had . I paid the $37 and took my business elsewhere. The claims were false and I was correct, the only thing wrong with my car was my break lights. Money hungry business, unfortunately places like this takes advantage of females.

I love this place and their team. I always have a good experience and the team is so nice. This time, I needed an oil change but also had my tire pressure show up as an issue a few days before the service appt. One was extra bad and I figured it needed to be replaced.Mario was great, called to let me know I needed to replace it, and the cost. When I picked up my car, I heard he had actually went to another location to pick up the tire my car needed so I could still get it fixed today. Really went above and beyond If that was the case!!Services: Tires, Oil change

My go to place for affordable oil changes and NYS inspections. They take or match competitor coupons. Always check prices and coupons on Mavis and Goodyear. Also check firestone's website for coupons. They have 50% off oil changes for Covid front line workers. You can send those coupons to your phone. They always do a courtesy check which includes checking fluids, tire pressure, wipers, tires and brakes. They do not tell you you need things when you do not which happened to me at 2 different pep boys. I always drop car off and pick up when it's done but they do have a waiting room with wifi, snack machine, coffee n TV.

Took 4 and half hours for an oil change that was ridiculous will not be going back there anymore and didn't even give me a discount for waiting that long

Mario is such a good guy! He was very helpful and kind to us during our quick visit. He taught us some things we didn't know about our car and helped fix out problem VERY quickly. We needed some assistance with our license plate and stickers and he was nice to talk with for the short time we were there. Gotta love friendly people and when they bring a good attitude to the work environment. Thank you again, Mario!

I've been coming here for the last 2.5 years and have always been satisfied however today, I was blown away!! I had my two small children with me and waited for my car to be serviced. It was pouring out and when my car was ready, the manager, Patrick, told me to stay inside while he brought my car to the front door/entrance so my kids wouldn't get wet. Thank you so much, this chivalrous gesture completely exceeded customer expectations!!

Overall TERRIBLE experience. First time going here and definitely will be my last. First off, I made an 8am appointment and I called around 1pm to ask about how the car was doing since I figured this would be sufficient time. I was told that they had not even started working on my car yet. Secondly, my car was not ready to be picked up until 6pm. What's the point in making an appointment if they will take 10 hours to have my car be ready for pickup? Next, the mechanic who rung me up was EXTREMELY rude when I asked questions about what had been done to my car. I was immediately told a price without him conversing with me about what was done to my car in those 10 hours or even showing me the already printed receipt with the mechanic's notes. I had agreed with the mechanic in the morning for 2 new tires (4 if needed, I was told that I would be given a call if the other 2 tires needed to be replaced.. i did not receive a call), an oil change, and for them to check out my headlight that had moisture built up behind the lens. When I asked about the other 2 tires, i was told "I don't know i didn't work on your car, but i'm going to assume that they obviously would have checked and replaced it if needed". Next, when i asked about my headlight I was told "Again i don't know if they checked or not because i did not work on your car. but its not on the receipt so obviously they didn't." An attitude was given to me throughout the entire transaction. Although I do understand that he was not my mechanic, his attitude was not needed especially considering that the morning mechanic had specified to me that he would examine my headlight and the need for 4 new tires as previously mentioned and that someone would give me a call to discuss it before anything was done. Obviously there is very poor communication between the mechanics of this establishment. I am extremely disappointed in this establishment.

Very courteous. Went in for an oil change and an engine check. The manager walked me through some things that required work but stressed that nothing was needed immediately except one of my tires. Luckily, he pointed out that I had a warranty on it. I authorized the work and was going to settle in for about a 5 hour wait (I didn't have a ride home). One of the mechanics ended up driving me home. I was so appreciative. It was definitely above and beyond. Highly recommend everyone there.

Went for NY state annual inspection. Failed me for windshield wiper blades which function properly. So I educated them for something else that can be failed for inspection and cost more to fix. What a joke. Went to another shop, passed all tests at the same day.Furthermore, the paper they gave to me and the email they sent to me are for a different vehicle which belongs to my mother.My family won t go there anymore, so save your money. They are gonna hunt more from the remain customers.

I saw on the website that they had $20 off $100 for card holders. I've had a card through a sister company that is valid at Firestone, and I know the service I need to get done costs close to a ballpark of $180-ish. Transmission fluid exchange. It's about that time for my car to change the fluid. I called this location to get it done and they just flat out refused. They claimed liability. Meanwhile, another competitor just gor me in with no issue at all. I'm just going to stop coming here. The few times I did in the past, they made me wait incredibly long periods of time regardless of having an appointment or not. For the transmission service, they insisted I go to a specialty shop, which I'm not interested in. I suspect pay offs to just send people to a shop where they'll attempt to upsell you services when all I need is the exchange per my manufacturer. I never had this issue prior to moving back to my home town, so needless to say, this Firestone has been a massive let down.

After multiple issues and nothing but misery from my usual car servicer MAVIS SELDEN I took my to FIRESTONE SELDEN to have a new run installed and the cracked one removed. A small project for sure but-I can t describe enough how accommodating the two people inside were towards me. Sadly I did not get their names. But they made my day-their care and attention to detail on such a small project really impressed me.-Mavis treated me like a wet dog left out in the cold-Firestone treated me like I was a cherished family memberService: Tires

I had a full day ahead, and I was annoyed because I couldn t find anyone to fix my flat tire. With my spare donut on, I drove into Firestone. I was out in about 30 minutes with my tire honestly repaired and a bill under $30The guys were so nice and efficient.I know car service. I spent my summers working for my dad at his stations. I changed tires, sold cigarettes and soda, pumped gasoline, and learned customer service. My dad would have given Firestone 5 stars and he was the toughest boss I ve ever had. Thank you for turning my busy day around. I would recommend this business to everyone including myself-I will now be a regular customer.

I was a little nervous about getting my tesla inspected since I know there are some special considerations about lifting them. They did a great job and seemed very comfortable doing an inspection. Recommend if you have an EV and need an inspection! Also very nice at the front desk.

I was concerned about my rear brakes. The representative clearly assured me he checked all 4 brakes and they were in pretty good condition. It will be sometime before I need to change them. In this day of scam for make extra money, I was elated to find he did not try to just make a sale. My vehicle drives and sounds better after the oil change. I asked if any discount existed, I knew it did cause I had a coupon on my phone and he readily applied a $10 discount. By the way, I really like the face lift/new decor in the store.

Not the mechanics to trust. Up sales junk that you don t need. Oh, hundred bucks for wipers? Seriously are you that desperate. Apparently I am not the only customer you try to scam. How are you still in business.

There are very few car places that have received a positive review (from me) but I am happy to say that I will be adding Firestone to the list. I had a flat on Saturday and brought my car to Firestone on Sunday. I was told that there would be a wait of about an hour and a half which I understood. It was a Sunday and not many places are conducting business. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how short the wait actually was. Not only did they take me in quickly but they were honest and repaired my tire rather than trying to sell me a new one. They made suggestions regarding my other tires but did not ask me to make any purchases. I have experienced horrible customer service associated within the automobile industry so I am delighted to be able to write an optimistic review when it comes to the folks at the Firestone in Selden. If you are looking for a genuine team, head on down to Firestone.
