Our car was overheating as my husband and I were traveling to Schenectady from New York City on a Friday afternoon and we broke down at the Capital Region Welcome Center off 87-North. We called Next Level and explained what was happening. The fact that they were able to see us that day was amazing enough, but they were actually able to find and fix the problem in time for us to celebrate our grandson's graduation that evening. Kevin and Bebe went out of their way to help us and we can't thank them enough for saving our trip -- not to mention our car!

If I could give 6 stars I would. We were traveling across NY when our car stopped going. When everyone else in the area said theycouldn't look at it for 3 to 5 days, Kevin listened to what was happening, said he had an idea and offered that we could tow it over that day "but no promises". The next day, he let us know what was going on and said he thought he could get it done that day, though he'd have to send his wife to Albany to get the parts from a Subaru dealer. While working on all the cars he already had scheduled, he and his crew still managed to get ours fixed and ready to go. They even worked a couple hours overtime just to help us get on the road back to Wisconsin. He was truly a professional, showed us everything he did (and did some extra inspections to make sure it was in good shape for the trip) and didn't gouge us at all. I wish he were here in Wisconsin!Service: Transmission

I was referred to them by my dad some time ago. All was well until I wanted to get a different vehicle looked at. Earlier this week I made an appointment with his wife for 5pm on February, 17th. I was going to be a couple of minutes late so I called to inform them. His wife told me she called me around 4pm and that I would need to reschedule for the following Tuesday b/c a car is stuck on the lift. I told her I wish she would've left a voicemail or sent a text so that I would've known who called due to not answering numbers I don't recognize (unwanted contact). I got off from work early just to make it to this appointment. I know a car being stuck is inevitable, my issue was her not leaving a voicemail, text or at least apologizing when I made that statement. I felt dismissed. I was going to make another appointment but chose not to and went with a different shop b/c communication is a huge deal to me and this is time sensitive. Learn from this or not, just sharing my experience.

THE BEST CAR PLACE I'VE BEEN TO WITH STOCK AND MODIFIED TRACK CARS. The staff are passionate about cars of all kinds. The tech's there own JDM and rare cars who aren't afraid to get into a nerdy conversation. This is a real shop I'm so glad I found after looking for garage across three states.Kevin and his team was awesome in understanding the needs of my track Miata with mods. He recommended services and alternatives to non-functioning parts. He even took a stab at repairing an existing mod part. When the part was warped, we worked on an alternative.I cannot recommend this place enough. Even took my partners stock beater Honda Civic and turned it into a beast.Services: Exhaust, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance

Kevin is a BMW master mechanic, if you need someone to take care of your car he's more than capable. He's very fair and honest, two traits you'll never find at a dealership. He will take care of your car like it's his own and give you great customer service with a friendly smile.

If you have a car and are in need of help in Schenectady, Next Level Auto should be your first choice.My car broke down for what I thought was an issue with the battery and had it towed to a nearby AutoZone. Thankfully, the AutoZone people were kind enough to diagnose the problem as an issue with the automator, which they couldn't repair, so they called up Kevin from Next Level for me.I can't even describe how great the customer service is. Kevin talked to the members at AutoZone to allow me to keep my car in their parking lot for the evening, and he would personally bring the car in himself in the morning so I wouldn't have to worry about getting it towed through my insurance. That next morning, he brought the car in and kept me updated on the process, informing me that he was trying to find the automator my car used from the vendors he worked with. He got me two different options, all within budget, and as soon as we figured which route to go with, he had my car fixed by the late afternoon.You can trust your car with Kevin. I really wish I had a mechanic like him in my hometown! Next Level Auto is great.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Engine repair

Experts that know your vehicle's capabilities!! Wouldn't allow you to modify if it wasn't good for the car. Suggests the right way to do things.Fairly priced for the work being done.

Snapped an axle on my Acura. Kevin installed 2 new axles for me and I got my car back the day after. Cheap prices and fast labor... I can tell they're very knowledgeable and they don't rob you like other shops. I definitely recommend this shop.

Highly recommend Next Level Auto, as they were great and took good care of my Lexus, I had a really bad exhaust leak and the guys at Next Level Auto were able to weld in a new exhaust in 45 minutes and my Lexus soo quiet now I can t even hear it haha, thanks again very much I ll definitely be back again!

Called Kevin telling him I needed my brakes down he fit me in his schedule and even stayed open an hour later just because I got out of work when he s supposed to close, kept me updated with what s going on with my car.. definitely will and did recommended him to friends

This place is phenomenal. I love my car dont trust it with just anyone. This place is honest and most importantly professional. Did wonderful work on my for a affordable price. I hardly recommend this place. My car runs perfect.

Poor service, will keep u waiting 3 days for a diagnosis then will lie to u about stuff that s wrong with your car also will quote you an outrageous price that s irrelevant to the job, very unprofessional, will not use again

The owner let me know what the problem was and fixed it for a good price, he also let me know and showed me other issues so that I would be aware, I was very satisfied and look forward to doing more business with them
