Kevin and the crew are awesome at this location. They ve been amazing with every issue I ve encountered with my car since moving back up here. They re extremely professional, courteous and they show the issue to you prior to doing anything which I appreciate that they don t try to pull the wool over their customers eyes. I will always bring my cars to them and I will send anyone to them who needs work done too. Thank you guys for taking care of my Kona yesterday too. She s running so amazing!

These guys are incredible and reliable. Kevin and crew have always gone the extra mile for me., no pun intended. I stopped there once when they were closed, I was 10 minutes late and didn t have an appointment, They came out and looked at it for free and saved my life! Had I driven on it the way it was, I would have died on the highway they fixed the issue the next day!

I was there last Saturday for an inspection. I called in a short notice and they right away scheduled me in for that following Sat per my request. Very pleased with their service and professionalism of the staff.Much appreciated. Roya Ross

I had an appointment at 3pm, and didn't get out until almost 6pm. I was patient, and they kept on saying they were busy and shorthanded. The only other simple task I asked them to do was to check the air in my tires. When I got in the car, the low tire pressure gauge went on immediately. I went back in and spoke to someone who apparently was a manager; he said it takes awhile for it to register. Three days later, I filled my tires up and the light went out. My last visit to Midas. At least this one.

Very accommodating, called today for inspection and they said bring it right in. From arrival to departure less than an hour. Friendly staff and clean waiting area. Bewitched and I dream of Jeannie on the TV a bonus!

Great team and great service here at Midas! Was told an hour wait for my inspection but they got it in and out within 25 minutes! Also I was expecting to pay $21 but it was only $11! Kevin Bheem the manager was very helpful, I needed a set of tires to pass inspection, I was really short on time due to doctor's appointments and he went out.of his way to take care of it right away. I was literally in and out with a fresh inspection and new tires. Thanks Kevin!

Had a appointment at a specific time . Waited 35 minutes for the car even to get inside the garage. Then I was there for a hour and 45 minutes for a inspection for a brand new car .

I have a credit card for Midas/Mavis that allows me to charge car repairs, out them on a promotion & spread the cost over 5 or 6 months in paying it off. Midas, the State St Schenectady location, is across the street from Mavis. The E. Greenbush Midas store, ask for Dave, he is honest & works with people on the costs. I live in Schenectady , but my auntie lives in Watervliet, so if I need car repairs & I am visiting her there, I use the E. Greenbush location.

Excellent service was fast and knowledgeable able. They showed me the proablem which I thought itbwas something elese and fixed it all around both sides of the vehicle. My car is a whole diffrent car. The lounge was clean the coffee was good. Not sure what to say but I know Midas on state st,Schenectady NY knocked it out the park for me. My Car runs so much better.

Great transparency! My drive belt was very worn and they pulled it out and showed it to me. Another local shop passed me for inspection a year ago which means I was duped and driving around dangerously unbeknownst. Also, they have 6 month interest free finance options available for those who don't deal in interest but have an imminent car need. We came to this business for ten years. At first they were great. Good work, qualitatively done and at a reasonable price. Now however, things have changed. Brought my car in April for an emissions code. They fixed it, for $500. 1 week later the check engine light came back on. Brought it back. Witnessed the staff arguing heatedly with another gentleman for the same exact problem. He had brought in his car for a check engine light, and it came right back on again and again. We still had them complete the service a second time. However, the check engine light came on AGAIN, not even 6 hours after having been in their shop. Emissions is an environmental issue, as well as an expensive fix in a tight inflated economic time. Every time this code came on, it was the same exact code. The service man argued that they kept finding new things to fix, but how did they miss it when they ve inspected it more than twice, and charged me $500?? As other people appear to be having the same issue, and publicly, I have to imagine they re charging inflated prices to do little to no work, and then have you return again and again. Every business eventually declines and degrades. Sadly this Midas no longer has the golden touch. Stay away for the safety of your wallet, and yourself and your loved ones on the road. UPDATE: we had the car inspected by a 3rd party mechanic. He confirmed that absolutely no work had been done, and the car was still in disrepair. Stay away from this location.

I bought a tire from them four months ago. They guaranteed me 45,000 miles. Less than 10,000 miles, this what it did. They said they can t do nothing for me because I didn t have roadside assistance. I said I ain t get the roadside assistance because I was expecting to do the 45,000 miles, by then I would ve just bought two new sets of tires. They response was it s nothing I can do for you. I will never go back to them again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had been out of state when my NY state inspection came up for renewal and was trying to find a shop that would do it ASAP as I needed my car for a work trip that week. I was brushed off by several shops or told that there was a 2 week wait but when I called Midas, they assured me they would be able to help. I asked if they would be able to take me that day, as soon as possible and they were able to fit me in mid- morning. They were so understanding and helped me feel at ease immediately. The staff was very friendly and the process was quick and easy. I plan to do business here from now on.

Everytime I go, I end up having to come back a second time in the same week because they never fully fix things. I will also NEVER understand why they schedule appointments just to have you wait 1-2 hours before actually being able to take you in.

so the first big snowfall of the year I was slippin and a-slidin skiddin and a gliding all over the road it was a really scary time but luckily I pulled smoothly into this nice midas's parking lot, I was immediately greeted with warm smiling faces and they were very attentive and receptive to my needs they had the tires I need immediately in stock so I didn't have to wait around at all after I sat down the immediately drove my car into the bay and put those brand new tires on my vehicle I am really happy and really pleased of how conscientious and courteous the workers were at this location I decided to post a review because they had a big postcard basically encouraging me to leave a good favorable review on Google

Everything was perfect! My car was not safe to drive (muffler issue from a hit and run) I had to wait for parts to come in once they were in my car was worked on pretty quickly. Kevin was awesome! Great communication honest and friendly. My car is now safe again to drive thank you so much! I highly recommend these guys!

There is a 5 star bathroom at this Midas location. See pictures. Very clean and does not smell. Waiting area is also very well maintained.

Needed an inspection really bad. I had trouble due to my own complications to find the place but was treated with so much respect when having to call three times and was helped to find them. Thank god for that! Then when I got there was delighted with how great the whole transaction process was to get my car inspected. This place will definitely be number one on my list to go to for any of my car needs. I appreciate and thank everyone there.Service: Vehicle Inspection

The bathroom had no tissue or paper towel. The floor was clean but toilet was not. I was told they give no military discount until I showed them a code for it on my phone. My overall experience has been satisfying. The mechanical services as well as the customer service this location provides is genuine and professional. I recommend Midas because they are flexible, reliable, and courteous. I will definitely do more business.
