Brought in my other half's vehicle for a total brake job. Brakes are very smooth, like a brand new vehicle. Excellent service and good prices. I'm sure I will be bringing other vehicles here as well.

Our car broke down late at night, and all shops were closed. We were able to make an appointment online with Family Auto after hours for the next morning. He charged us $300 less than the estimate from another mechanic. Family-run shop, great explanation of what was wrong. The part we needed was 300 miles away, so he fixed the wire instead of replacing the part, which in the end was all that needed to be done to fix it. Not only did they save us money, they were so friendly and honest that I would recommend them to anyone! They are like mechanics used to be figuring out what the problem is rather than how much they can charge you for. Amazing service! Bonus if you speak Italian! Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Every experience dealing with this shop has been above and beyond. I've taken all of my vehicles here for services big and small over the past 8 years and they've done the best at pricing repairs or services. No other shop compares in my area.

Brought my truck to Family Auto thinking I needed a new wheel bearing but it turned out to be a faulty tire. The guys at Family Auto were honest and upfront. I highly recommend them for any auto repair you have. They definitely saved me money. I m confident that had I brought my truck to some other repair shop they might have just replaced my wheel bearings without finding the real issue.

Found out my brake lights weren't working and this was recommended to me by the Auto Parts store. Drove up and they were able to go right to work. After about an hour, it was fixed -- for a very reasonable price.

My son found this garage a few weeks ago and I m so glad he did !! I ve been to a lot of different garages in the Schenectady area and this was the first garage that didn t talk down to me or try to talk me into things I didn t need he took his time with me and explained things he Wasn t rushed it s a great garage !!!!!Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil changeServices: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Called for an inspection told me come right in . of course i failed haha i needed an O2 sensor got the part and fixed it next day . Got my inspection and passed awesome customer service real cool ppl . Definitely recommend.
