Today I had an outstanding experience with the Jiffy Lube team. I came in for a routine state inspection and tire rotation. The floor manager recommended catching up on some past-due maintenance that my vehicle needed, which I then said I could only do one (rear differential service). After returning to the waiting room, the manager pulled me back into the shop to show me the service he was doing for the differential, allowing me to see the difference in new fluid compared to what I was running on. I was extremely impressed with team today, thank you for restoring my vehicle trust with Jiffy Lube!

Update: after the owner response to my original review I reached out via email to discuss as requested. I have not had a response since my original email was sent. It has been over two weeks. I will update my review if I am contacted.Original post below:I ve been here many times for oil changes over the years. I bring my own oil and filter because they usually don t have the proper oil and filter for a BMW. Everything seemed to go smooth and my car was done quickly. Once I pulled away I noticed a hesitation when hitting the gas. As I pulled onto the road my car stalled and I was able to get it over to the side of the road. I walked back to Jiffy Lube and told them what happened. The technician was able to get it back into the shop. While he was bringing it back in it was hesitating and he agreed that something was wrong. He proceeded to do the oil change again but asked for me to watch so I know he did everything correctly. He removed my engine cover and I noticed it was all cracked. It was never cracked before, my car is practically new. I didn t question it at this point because I just wanted my car back on the road so he proceeded with the oil change. When it came time to put the filter back in he was having a hard time aligning it and getting the housing cap on so I offered to do it. I am experienced and have done my own oil changes many times. I was theorizing that the first time he might not have seated the filter properly which could cause hesitation in the engine. So I wanted to make sure it was 100% seated correctly. I got it in and the housing cap back on. He struggled to put my engine cover back on so I had to align it and snap it in to place. We started the car and he pulled it out of the bay. I told him if I had a hesitation when hitting the gas I would have it towed. Sure enough that s what happened. I had it towed to BMW at my own expense. They looked it over and found that the cover (because of improper installation) tugged a wire harness that connects to my spark plug. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was just a total waste of my day and money. I m extremely disappointed and will only be going to BMW for oil changes from now on.

Very courteous and attentive staff. Had oil change and to get to the oil drain you have to first remove a protective motor shield under vehicle. Mechanic even took the time to clean it thoroughly before reinstalling .Service staff also did a fantastic job vacuuming the carpeting . 5 star business I d recommend to anyone .

Stopped in for an oil change and a car wash. The service was very fast, clear to understand, helpful and EXTREMELY nice people work there. I was very overdue for my oil change and felt embarrassed, no one made me feel ashamed one bit. They were just fast, understanding and kind

I had just moved to town in February and needed an inspection. Not sure where to go, I decided to go somewhere with a recognizable name. What a great welcome to town I received by the entire staff at Jiffy Lube. They were kind, friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful in every way. I must make a special mention about Don. He was simply wonderful and was truly a great resource regarding the needs of my old European sports car. I will never go anywhere but Jiffy Lube in Queensbury NY for my oil changes, inspections, and any other service I need that they provide. Excellent service done by excellent people. Thank you to Don, and the entire staff at Jiffy Lube!

Jamie was very informative about much needed fluids for my Ram 1500. Initially came for my usual oil change, but was educated by him on other maintenace. We put an average 30,000 miles/yr. Mostly highway yet it's imperative to maintain.our truck with the proper service needs. Thank you for looking out Jamie.

My past experiences have been mixed. My most recent experience was very good. The service tech indicated that because of volume, wait time may be up to two hours. It only took an hour and a half. My vehicle failed the inspection because of faulty brakes but the service manager detailed the issue and offered recommendations on other issues needing attention. It was refreshing that he didn't try to oversell unnecessary service. Simply put, I trusted the staff and would recommend to a friend.

This was the best service I've ever had at Jiffy Lube. I believe the girls name was Courtney. She was so sweet and informative. Explained as much as she could about EVERYTHING I questioned her on to the best of her ability for me to understand. Love her!!

I called the Queensbury (Hoffman Car Wash) location on a Sunday to find out if I needed an appointment for a NYS vehicle safety inspection. I was told that these were performed on a "first come, first served" basis, so I didn't make an appointment. On the Tuesday morning following that call, I pulled into the (same) facility, and the employee who greeted me stated that "the inspection policy changed this morning (on that Tuesday), so now you need an appointment." This comment was made after I explained my Sunday call. My dashcam video of this conversation is the quintessential example of how not to treat a customer. Another repair facility got me in on the same day, so that's where my business will be going moving forward.

Writing this review in case anything happens with the fall out of an angry unreasonable customer. I was there 12/4/23 around 1:30 pm where an unhappy customer was extremely rude to the entire staff and other customers. The staff was so professional level headed and honestly worked more with her than anyone should have. They have patience of a Saint. I would like to give a special shot out to the 4 main people helping tonight. Don, Melinda, Jamie, and Branden. They were so fantastic and treated all customers with some of the best customer service I've ever seen. This is truly one of the best places to get your car worked on. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Went in for safety inspection, watched them go under the hood with hand tools from the waiting area. Figured I'd have a look before I left, they opened the air filter housing presumably to try and sell me an air filter, but left half the screws out. I had to bring someone over who rummaged around in a toolbox until he found something that worked. Had I not checked I'd be driving around pulling unfiltered air into the engine. If you choose to have work done here please monitor what they do and check what they touch.

I went in for an inspection. They removed both my engine and cabin air filters and then attempted to upsell me those. Neither of those are part of the inspection. They did not ask me if I would like them checked before hand. They also did not pass my inspection due to torn wiper blades. I have since had my car inspected at another business and it passed with the same wiper blades. I would recommend you avoid this place of business.

Quick, professional and very friendly, this was a positive experience all the way around. We showed up last minute and they were able to get us right in for an inspection and oil change (two different vehicles), and when a mistake was made on their end they rectified it on the spot. Would highly recommend this location, thank you!

Recently went in for a NYS Inspection. Mine was expired. Within 5 mins, the man said my parking brake was going to fail me and if I wanted to back out of the Inspection, I could get that fixed first. He acted like he was doing me a favor, bc if you fail, they take off the expired sticker and give you only 10 days to fix the problem - or you'll be driving illegally. With a visually obvious lack of sticker, you are ticket-bait for police. Not knowing the cost to fix the parking brake, I elected to leave with my expired sticker intact. The employee was either lying or totally incompetent bc there was absolutely nothing wrong with my parking brake. I tested it on a slope a few days later and it worked perfectly. It passed Inspection a week later at Mavis.I feel like the Jiffy Lube employee didn't want to do the job and pegged me as a "clueless woman" who wouldn't know any better.Well, he got me off his back for that day.Definitely will not be going back to be insulted and lied to.

They have a great waiting room here. It's great because most times you do have to wait a bit. They do a bit of upsetting beyond what you've come in for. Their price is $10 more than several of garages in area for an oilchange.

The man checking in customs was extremely rude. He yelled that it was an hour to an hour and a half. When I backed up, he accused me of nearly hitting him. I doubt he has a clue how nasty he is.

I understand that NYS inspections aren't a huge money maker, but could you at least make it look like you take pride in your work. How you handle the little things says a lot about how you handle the big things.

Staff is super friendly ..However charging $55.00 for WIPER BLADES is ridiculous!!! (Had to pay that much for my inspection ) and I only had a tear at the end of my wiper that didn t affect clearing my window

The manager was very nice and cordial however the staff didn t know how to replace a blown headlamp. They told me I would have to remove many parts to be able to gain access to the headlamp. I left the store disappointed. I m a Jiffylube customer for many years. I visited YouTube and viewed a video which enabled me to replace the bulb in 5 minutes. Since my 2010 Silverado is a common vehicle I don t understand why they turned me away. Lack of training maybe? I any case I don t have a good feeling about returning to your store.

Prior to arriving for an inspection I checked all my light bulbs knowing I had just had an oil change and filter change. I was thinking this time they won t get me for any upsells. My mistake. They came and said I needed a front and rear wiper. I said no I don t I used them on the way in, It was raining. He told me if he didn t replace them I would fail the inspection. So my $21 inspection. Cost me $86.25. I love the 500% markup on wipers. This is absolutely ridiculous and very well be my last visit to Jiffy Lube.

Poorly organized. Several people arriving after me were serviced before. Even they noticed and commented. I asked specifically for synthetic blend. After an hour and a half when I went leave I asked and it wasn t done. I was informed that they could drain the oil they just put and put the requested oil in but I declined. I will be going else where next time

Not sure why I keep going back. Each experience experience I have had have been poor. Recently I got an oil change on my vehicle and the tech threw away parts that went inside of my oil filter housing. I found this out when I went to a different mechanic to have tires installed and an oil change at their establishment. The replacement parts cost me $70. The tech at this garage is a close friend, otherwise I would questioned the missing parts.Fast forward to this most recent experience. I asked one of the tech's at JL to make sure that those components dont get thrown out when they do my oil change. The tech replies, " thats impossible to do". At that time I insisted it happened and didnt want to argue, just wanted to make sure someone was looking out and aware. At this point the tech says, "Ive been a 20 year Master Tech at Toyota and Im telling you that cant happen and didnt happen here".This is what I have to say to Jiffy Lube. If you are going to have any of the tech crew talk with the customers, please educate at least one of them and make them your P.R. guy or gal.

Great people! Great service! The new guy at the computer is a bit intimidating to look at, but is funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was having a rough morning, so when he came out to talk about my car and said he was Julie my cruise director I couldn t help but laugh. I heard him getting screamed at on the phone by an obnoxious person and he was calm and professional. He taught me a lot about my new car. 5 stars plus!
