Recently bought a ram truck from southern, all I can say is ignore the bad reviews. Truck has been really good, had one small issue which was resolved as soon as they could get the truck in at no cost to myself. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy one of these beautiful rigs

Matt and his crew are the best. They went above & beyond with taking care of any issues I had with my truck. Customer service is second to none. I will definitely buy again and strongly recommend to anybody in the market for a truck.

I don t normally do these reviews but I had to for these guys. First off, my buying experience was great. Matt made it super easy and quick. The service that Matt and his crew provide is top notch. I can honestly say when I need another truck they are the only place I d go. 10/10 recommend

By far the best buying experience I ve ever had!! Matt was very responsive and answered every question I had. After a run around with the bank he personally delivered the truck to my front door 2 hours from his shop at about 9:30pm. Highly recommend!!! I will definitely be a repeat customer

This was hands down the smoothest most enjoyable buying experience I've ever had! Being in the automotive industry since 2005 as a former service tech and currently in the customer service side of things ive seen the in's and out's of this business and i can 100% tell you without a doubt Matt and his sales/service team blew me away with how i was treated! They offer premium products at a more then reasonable price and every vehicle is meticulously gone through with a fine tooth comb! Matt answered all my questions that i had and has extensive knowledge on not only the truck that i purchased but all of of the "big 3" american diesel manufacturers that are sold and serviced at Southern Diesel's facility. If you are looking to purchase a truck in or even outside of New York state i would recommend Southern Diesel to anyone!

Matt went above and beyond for me. The truck had a couple minor things that I noticed. He got them fixed the next day and brought the truck down to me, an hour away, to demo for a few days. Top notch customer service! Highly Recommend!

This is long overdue. My experience with Southern Diesel Truck Company was the best I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I was greeted by a very kind and professional receptionist who showed complete interest in my purchase. Matt was more than accommodating to my needs. I did not spend hours haggling over price...his trucks are already priced fair. He added some extras and offered to exchange options on the truck that I wasn't so sure about. He did not try to sell me options for packages that I didn't need. There was nothing difficult about this buying experience. Matt was polite and very knowledgeable. He answered many questions for me with detailed explanation. I have serviced my truck at his garage. This was also a very good experience. The work was done quickly and again the price was good. I will return for future service and I will be a loyal truck buying customer, for sure! Thanks to all at Southern Diesel!

This was possibly the best experience I've had buying a vehicle. Matt was great to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and prompt. I originally saw my truck on the internet, and when I saw it in person it was everything it was advertised to be, and more. Matt worked with me to add on and change everything I wanted, while still maintaining a great and fair price. I have been casually looking for the right truck for 4 years and this truck has completely fulfilled my expectations. I have already taken it on a long trip hauling my horses to a competition and it was great. I highly recommend Southern Diesel Trucks.

This revew is long overdue as I purchased my truck almost two years ago. I really should have sat down a wrote this review because they deserve it. Matt the owner is one of the best people I have met. He was extremely easy to work with. I spotted a truck online and decided to make the call. I spoke to Matt at length about the truck I was interested in(2014 F250). He was very knowledgeable about the product. I am very nitpicky when it comes to vehicles. During our conversation I expressed concern about driving 3 hours to look at a truck that was beat up. Matt took the time to send me a video of every single imperfection on the truck he could find. I drove out to look at the truck, it was amazing. When I finally sat down to make a deal, working with Matt was easy. When you talk to Matt your speaking with the owner, sales manager and shop foreman all at once. Nobody is trying to screw you over. I highly recommend this shop and will be returning soon. If you find something you like on his website Give him a call ASAP. One downside to good stock and great prices is the trucks sell FAST.

Great buying experience! Matt is a solid guy and honest! He's very knowledgeable about diesels and very easy to work with! Worked with me big time on the price and I couldn't be happier with the truck!! Any questions I have I just email him and he gets right back to me. Awesome place with awesome people! I will definitely be a return customer!

After going to several local dealerships in Albany NY I started looking for something used. I almost bought a similar truck out of PA which would have been a 16 hour trip. Before I pulled the trigger I remembered these guys. Matt is very knowledgeable when it comes to the aftermarket truck world. He sent me a personal YouTube video walk through of the truck I think 6 minutes long. I never went to their shop which was around a 3 hour drive 1 way. We finalized the deal and they delivered the truck 2 days later to my house no extra charge. Matt added a after market Head unit to the truck and unfortunately upon delivery it started having issues. He offered to drive out New Years Eve to come take a look at it and swap out the unit. They have been very responsive to questions since the purchase .

I bought a 2015 F-350 with around 100k miles from SO. diesel.I've waited about 3 months to Leave review. so I can completely and accurately give the best possible review.I have bought used vehicles before and nothing comes close to southern diesel truck Co.You get what you pay for and more, these guys take the time & effort To thoroughly Inspect, repair, detail, each of their vehicles. On top of that it seem to me like everyone of their trucks looks like it was right out of an off-road magazine with either a slight lift and tires or other type of customization that made the truck more uniqueObviously most important thing about finding a vehicle is the customer service and Matt at Southern Deisel is the best. I was able to work with Matt on price point and a general idea of what kind of truck I was looking for with a few customizations I wanted. Within a week he called me up told me they had the truck ready. Also keep in mind I am buying out of state as PA resident, So having already drove four hours one way, Matt said that he could deliver the truck. So he did and for a really great price.When using southern diesel truck company for your next truck purchase you get the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and of course the best Diesel trucks!I've put 13k miles since my purchase and never had a truck run and look so good!!!!. I'll be recommending and using southern diesel for future truck purchases.

Great buying experience! We were able to make a deal over the phone and he had the truck shipped to me. We did everything via email and phone. His communication was great and he made it an efficient process. I love the truck. It was a great find at a great price. Ask for Matt Talamo, he's somebody I would buy from again!

First off, Matt is one of the most professional and considerate business owners I have ever met. His character speaks for itself. Long story short, I was on my way to sell my truck to him and ended up snapping a cv shaft. I called Matt and said I'm sorry I won't make it because of the situation I am in. He said well where are you, ill come tow your truck to my shop. I said wow, really? So he proceeded to drive his own personal truck an hour a way with a flat trailer, towed my truck to his shop, and fixed it for me at a very good price. I recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone I know. His trucks are top notch and when I bought a truck from him he put exhaust, toolbox and undercoated it all for free.

I don t know much about diesels. I had shopped around a bit through all the dealerships and websites for a 2500 ram diesel, but the prices were pretty high.Then I came to southern diesel. I knew they sold mostly custom trucks that had been modified for performance, but was pleasantly surprised to find a plane Jane work truck equipped exactly the way I needed.I called and spoke with Matt Talamo. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. He didn t mind taking time from his schedule and talking at great lengths with me and explaining several things that were concerning me. He was an honest, straight shooting professional. I m extremely impressed all the way around with his outfit and how they do things. I got my first diesel there and I plan on buying my second and third. Southern Diesel is the way to go!

Everything seemed great at first when my friend bought the truck then not a month later the transmission practically explodes. Calls up the shop and they refuse to help or work on it. Don't know if that's standard business practice in their eyes. But it sure as hell is a good way to lose customers and make people run from your business.

You did the deal a our 72 hrs I guess you already seld it in march according to what y told us but you revers the down payment payment back to owe account never recommend any one to do business

Great looking trucks, talented staff, great prices. Did not end up buying the truck I drove, my wife said it was to long for her to ever drive. If she is driving and we need to parellel park, we trade seats and I do it, in her focus! I do keep an eye on the inventory and would be happy to get my next vehicle there, and certainly the undercoating. I went to High school with Matt, he's always been a stand up guy in my opinion. Also might be the cleanest garage I have ever been in, and I am an electrician who has turned over newly built ones to constomers.

We bought our truck here and couldn't be happier with the service we received or the quality of the truck. The owner is very knowledgeable about the trucks he sells and the industry in general. I would and do recommend friends and family members to go here if they want great service and a top of line used truck.

They will say anything to sell you the vehicle, after that say your hail Mary's once you leave their dealershipbecause then it becomes your problem. They do NOT inspect the vehicles to any state standards. Once you go to complete the inspection process you'll find out they use USED parts to get you through your warranty.They are a bunch of freaking liars!!!! Run, Run, Run from all these positive reviews....

I bought a 2011 f250 from Matt . About 2 months later the DEF went south , I called Matt and he said to bring it up and he would install a new DEF housing at no cost . Mind you the warranty was off by then . Well I took the truck back to his shop and two mechanics met me at the door ,Said bring it in .OK those guys had the job done in 20 minutes and I was simply amazed at how fast they had that job done .They are experts at what they do . Simply put if you are going to buy a diesel truck and you go anywhere else you are waisting money and time .

I have had nothing but a good transaction with Matt and Southern Diesel Truck Co. It's hard to go somewhere and deal directly with the owner of a company who will actually take the time to sit and have a conversation. They have been nothing but accommodating, I'd even say they've gone above and beyond. If you're in the market to buy, This is the place.

Well this an early post...Matt the boss is a great guy ..very affiable and easy going ..i may have been a bit too turned up tho ..lol.. but hey i was excited...anyway purchasing a 2014 lifted 1500 GMC Sierra..love the road scenery for 5 hrs on the way up ..read a couple of bad posts about the dealership..but hey everyone has a different opinion always ..i will keep you guys informed once i take delivery..

I purchased my truck from southern diesel and I have to say the buying experience is the best one I ve ever had Matt went above and beyond to make sure that I was completely satisfied with my truck prior and after purchase words couldn t express my appreciation I am extremely happy with my new truck I would recommend southern diesel to anybody in the market hands down best place to buy a truck

Very u happy they will tell you what u want to here untill ur u buy it after that good luck after purchasing a over 30k dollar truck with used engine internals and held together with some good old gasket maker i had to dump 12k in to it for a motor an transmission. This place is a joke far from professional do yourself self a favor and buy new because the price they ask and with the money you will put into it ur better off

Soo if you dont end up buying a truck from here you'll probably end up like me ...wishing you did...matt is a great guy knowledgeable and very personable..... id reccomend them to anyone who wants a mint rust free truck....or you can just buy somewhere else and end up having them work on it anyway!!!!
