Came with my Dad to pick up his new camper, every single person we interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He had a great experience coming to look at their inventory, and working with MJ was great. Came back to make the purchase and it was a very smooth process. Complete and in depth walk through inside and out of the camper and an explanation of how everything works. Would highly recommend Wilkins.

Wilkins RV was our last chance to get a camper this season as we have been to Camping World and a few other's and couldn't find one that suited our needs and after dealing with Camping Worlds lying/pushy staff we didn't think we would find anything. We'll we arrived at Wilkins and was meet by Sarah and let me tell you she was a fresh of breath air. She was very professional and she knew her ins and outs of that place and provided exceptional customer service. She wasn't pushy and understood exactly what we were looking for. She helped us land the Camper that checked all of our boxes and we couldn't be more happier that we were able to have Sarah as our salesperson. And out of every other place we shopped Wilkins atmosphere was definitely the best.

We had a great positive experience with buying our travel trailer at Wilkins RV. Sarah our sales agent was fantastic and helpful always responding quickly to texts and questions. She was very kind and patient throughout the whole buying process. The financing went smoothly because Jason there was organized and guided us through all of that wonderfully. When we picked up the trailer Noah gave us a great detail overview on how things worked in the trailer. Overall A+ experience it s so nice to walk in a place and see so many employees smiling and friendly.

My husband and I recently purchased a fifth wheel from Wilkins in Nichols New York. We never once felt pressured to make a purchase or view RV s that we were not there to look at. Sarah was extremely friendly and patient as we had lots of questions about the RV. During our walk through of the RV we purchased, two small issues were noted and they immediately ordered the necessary items to fix the problem. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, knowledge, and customer service.

My wife and I purchased a used travel trailer recently. Colton was our salesman, he was nothing but helpful, patient, and extremely informative. Unfortunately we ran into an electrical issue almost immediately upon arriving home with the camper. Contacted the wilkins team and they jumped into it right away and fixed the issues. Our entire experience at the nichols wilkins location is nothing short of 10/10. Thankyou everyone there from sales to finance and the service department for making everything work out perfectly.

Holly, thank you for your ignorance while talking to my husband about the octane... you asked how we liked the 2 toy haulers and we said no! You weren't interested in hearing what we had to say, why ask? All you said was its used! No, there's a difference between used and abused. You should be embarrassed at the condition of octane... mice, cut wires, leaking windows, unsafe stairs, everywhere you look something needs to be replaced or repaired, not just cosmetically... and not just delam and used like you said, like we are idiots. We are loyal wilkins customers, we have owned multiple campers of all kinds! I'm soo glad we drove 2 hours to this and then you were the icing on the cake. We walked away with a trade and cash in hand, you sure blew it!Also, I specifically asked (2 weeks prior) for the unit of interest to be inside so we could go through it with power and be warm with our small child... nope couldn't even do that after I was told yes. NO EXCUSES! Terrible experience. (Hunter was nice and accommodating though, ty)

We worked with MJ during our recent purchase of our camper. EVERYONE at Wilkins is so warm and friendly. Customer Service is definitely a priority for them and in todays world often times is a lost art. If your in the market for an RV we highly recommend them!

They've had my refrigerator for 8 months. Warranty company paid for a brand new one it came in damaged. Won't return phone calls over $2,000 from warranty companies and I have no refrigerator. Very poor way to operate a business.

My husband and I worked with MJ Barton on finding a camper that had everything we wanted. He was very patient and helpful as we came back 3 times until we got exactly what we asked for! Highly recommend!

I was quoted $1800 for paint protection. It was not even done, but then was charged $2045 for it. Even had another professional come to my unit to confirm it had not been done. All Brian from Wilkins could say was well they said it was. I was quoted $300 for plates that I specifically said I didn t want as it was going to be a stationary unit. Not only did I end up with plates I was charged $495 for them. With other RV places around I would highly recommend to stay far away from Wilkins RV. If I had time to wait for an ordered unit I would have went with Meyers.Brent,I did email you over a month ago. I even included copies of everything. No response back!

I went to Wilkens RV in Nichols, NY. I spoke to salesman MJ Barton. I had already performed my research and knew what I was looking for. When I saw the Jayco Bungalow, it sold itself. When I made an appointment to show the unit to my wife, MJ told me he would have the unit unlocked, slides out and ready to show. When we arrived, MJ was too busy and had Hunter show us the unit, however, the unit was locked, slides in and a dead battery. Hunter apologized for the inconvenience and I told him HE had nothing to apologize for. Hunter went through the trouble and time to open the camper up for us to see.We then met with Brian Williams and agreed to purchase the camper and scheduled the walk-through at 9am and delivery for 1 pm on Friday ( about a week later). On the afternoon before the delivery date, MJ Barton called me and said the we should show up around 2pm on Friday for the walkthrough and couldn't give me a time (or date) for the delivery as our appointment was not scheduled correctly.I told him that I already had two friends that were meeting me at our campground with heavy equipment to place the new camper into our site (very tight fit). MJ apologized for the changes but there was nothing he could do. I told MJ that if the original times and dates that were scheduled and promised to me were not honored, to cancel my purchase immediately. He called me back a few minutes later and was able to "give" me back our original dates and times. When we showed up on Friday, we were greeted warmly and told that MJ was on the phone but he would join us during the walk-through. When we started the walk-through, clearly we were unexpected as the gentleman the "showed" us the camper had never been in this Bungalow before and really wasn't sure how everything worked or located. He was honest about it and clearly embarrassed as he struggled to complete the walk-through with us. MJ Barton never showed up as promised. As we already had a destination camper, I didn't have a lot of concerns and we felt bad that this gentleman was put in this situation. We then met with Brian Williams (who treated us great throughout the process) and signed the papers the he had already prepared for us. After being there on the "closing" date for more than two hours, MJ was too busy to step away from his cubicle to greet us or even introduce himself to my wife.MJ Barton did absolutely nothing to make this experience pleasant as other than 45 minutes on the first day we met, I never saw him again. Now, about three weeks later, I still haven't heard from him and am sure I never will. He knew this was an easy sale so why waste any time or effort as his commission was coming anyway. Well I hope anyone that reads this can read between the lines and ask for a salesperson that will treat you with respect and curtesy that you deserve!Shout out to Brian Williams and Hunter (who should have got (100% of this commission) for treating us great when we were continuously neglected by MJ Barton.

Colton helped us to find the right first camper for us. He listened to what we we were looking for and made wonderful suggestions. We were able to purchase our first camper and couldn t be happier. It did take a bit of time to get everything finalized with all the review of the camper. The hitch installation young man was amazing. He made sure we each did the hands on hooking and unhooking and watched, giving suggestions for pulling and backing up. We felt like we were ready to start our adventure with all of our questions answered. We will shop at Wilkins again when we are ready to upgrade. Thank Wilkins for a great experience

Wife and I stopped in and found a couple campers we liked on one of their "Grand Opening" days in Nichols. Went back to decide between the couple we liked after we decided to go for it. This trip did not leave a good taste i must say. Web site said open till 8 PM, show up at 10 mins to 6 after a 40 mins drive only to be told they were closing in ten. NO warm hey come back tomorrow or hey since you drove 40 mins I'll spend a few mins with you since our site says * PM. Wife got a number to someone in the company who was absolutely wonderful and couldn't apologize enough about how we were treated. We set up a day and approximate time we would be down and she set us up with a salesman who knew what had happened. Needless to say the staff was as wonderful as they were the first weekend we stopped in, guess we can chalk the bad night up to one bad salesman. MJ was very knowledgeable on all the travel trailers we wanted to see. Once we made our decision and it came time to work on pricing we got a deal that nobody could touch. Had some extras thrown in for out troubles. The finance guy was great, even having to do their normal add on sales pitches. Over all super friendly and knowledgeable group they have there. Worked with us on pick up time and day, especially since they don't normally do Saturday pickups and that was all we could make work. Walk trough was great, the guy who did it with us had more knowledge than i could get out of him over the hour or two we spent with them. I did have to change the height of my ball as they had it set a bit too high but that was easy enough for me and sometimes stuff like that needs to be adjusted after an initial drive. All round a great experience and great company to deal with. Best part was never did we have a single person we dealt with who was any kind of pressure sales type person. They gave their knowledge, opinions, views and others experiences and left it at that. Time comes to change we wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Stopped to look at a new camper. They had just taken over. Salesman was helpful and answered any questions we had. Service department was good and easy to work with. No pressure on sales pitch and didn't try to rush us into something we didn't need. Walked out owners of a new to us camper.

If I had a business in need of a salesman, I'd definitely hire Colton Lounsbury no matter what the cost. We visited Wilkins RV in Nichols, NY, looking for a camper to live in for the summer and light enough to pull with a half-ton Ford when traveling. Colton's knowledge of the products and his dynamic personality impressed us from the very beginning. He went over and above to put us in the right unit. We have the camper home and are getting settled in. The Sporttrek Touring 343VIK Edition is a high-quality unit that has an abundance of storage and all the amenities anyone could ever want. This is our fourth camper, and we could not be happier. Thanks, Colton for all you did. See you soon for that bar-b-que we promised.

First time buyer here- Horrible communication bad service in the service department. Things they said they were going to fix they didn't fix all of them. The paper work said it needed new tires and they didn't put new tires on. They blew a fuse when hooking it to my truck and had to get another fuse took and hour for that. My new truck had predrilled hole for a fifth wheel hitch and they still drilled new holes. They only good experience was Jack the demo guy he was very thorough and knowledgeable.I will never recommend going here. The whole experience was not very good they do not communicate well at all.

The salesman Colton was fabulous and he found me exactly what I wanted. The person I dealt with after him, MJ, not so much. (The only reason I dealt with him is because Colton was off on the day I went in to look at the camper Colton called me about) On the paperwork he (MJ) took credit as being the salesperson and after the sale he called & texted and pretty much said we were liars about what we said the condition of our trade was in (NOT true & we purchased the trade-in from Wilkens). I have NEVER been treated like that EVER. If this is what Wilkens has turned into....I will NEVER purchase another camper from them again! With that being said.... the rest of the staff was great!

We were first time RV buyers and Jim s was the perfect place for us. Our salesperson MJ was honest, educational and great! From the minute we walked in from the minute we left with our TT we felt we had the support of the entire staff of Jim s. They Answered every question and made sure we were leaving comfortable and ready for the road. Great experience!
