In June 2020, co-owner Nick Ruggiero, tinted windows on my front doors, rear doors and back window of my '17 Accord (see attached photos). Nick's professionalism, workmanship and price remain stellar, 14 months later.Why am I writing my review 14 months later?Today August 11, 2021 Morehead Honda called me saying that my Accord will fail its annual state inspection due to the tinted windows. The customer service rep at Morehead said the law had changed in the past year. (My tinted windows were installed two months prior to my 2020 NY state inspection at Morehead which passed:-). The law hadn't changed, but I wanted to verify that, so I called Nick at Eclipse Solar Control Products.Nick verified the law had not changed since 2017. He asked me where my inspection was taking place. When I told him Morehead Honda in Newburgh, he said he had business there and if my car was still there he would speak to the service manager on my behalf.Nick asked the service manager about their equipment's calibration, which could not be verified. It was showing 68% light passing through but state law requires at least 70% light passing through. My car will now PASS its 2021 NY State Inspection because Nick went out of his way to advocate for one of his customers.Service: Vehicle window tinting

Last month I made an appointment with Paul to remove my old tint and replace it with new tint. In the process my back window defrosters were damaged. When I asked for a refund he made good on it and even gave my car a jump when it died in his driveway. Appreciate how helpful and accommodating he was

Paul services vehicles in his personal garage and is a very knowledgeable professional. His rates are the cheapest around and work is the best around! I ll be recommending everyone I know to come here. Quick process depending on appointments and will definitely get you in and out in about an hour. On September 21, 2020, I went to see Paul based off of the positive reviews on here. Got my tints done for $240. He does business at his home, and he seems like a pleasant guy. He worked quickly on my car, and when he was done he told me that the air bubbles would disappear as the tint dries. I trusted his word and left. Later that day, I noticed that there was a tear in the driver's side tint. I contacted him about it and wanted to stop by. He questioned me a lot about it and initially wasn't going to take care of the issue. I finally asked him if there was an issue because I wanted to give him a good review online. He then told me to come over and replaced my driver's side tint. Turned out though, that the smaller windows on the driver's and passenger side were not cut to size either and there were visible gaps! I was pretty frustrated.He said he would be on vacation for two weeks and would take care of it when he got back. I contacted him today (10/13/2020) after his "vacation," and he said that he isn't sure when he will be back. So you are not sure when you will be back to follow through on your word and fix your mistakes? You are not sure when you will come back because you run a business? He was very unprofessional in this instance.To me, it doesn't matter if he makes a lot of money from this business or not. Character is your currency. I don't enjoy coming back repeatedly either to get tints replaced that should have been done more slowly and efficiently the first time.
