The staff at G&A Automotive are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable at servicing my Mercedes-Benz. They methodically approach any issue to avoid performing unnecessary services. It s always great dealing with Gary and he s always very accommodating to scheduling a service and/or emergency. Very pleased and highly recommended.

I ve know Gary for about 30 years. Have followed him to all his locations. One of the most honest and caring guys I know. Always patient and always explains everything to his customers. He has very good mechanics working for him as well. I m glad to call Gary a friend as well. If you want something done correctly then G-n-A is the place to go.

Gary, thank you for your professionalism and excellent service...my inspection was done within 15 - 20 minutes. I have recommended you to friends and family for not only vehicle inspection but for auto repairs. Again, thanks, you just inherited a new customer.

Was looking for a place to do a NYS inspection and gave them a cal at around 11am, once I arrived around 11:41 Gary was nice enough to let me get the inspection without an appointment. I was there for 20 minutes max, and was able to get to work on time. He was very nice and professional, his staff was also quick and effective. Highly recommend going here, but making an appointment is preferred. However, they do inspections later in the day unlike many places around the area. By far my favorite place to go and if any mechanical issues with my vehicles come up I ll happily drive 45 minutes to come here.

Local, family owned and operated, father-son business. Gary, the owner, is knowledgeable and straightforward with repairs and pricings. I was given options for repairing my vehicle. Gary professionally presented the car's current issues, never trying to upsell me. If you are looking for a skilled and trusting mechanic shop for your vehicle, I'd highly recommend G & A Automotive. Gary and his staff are very helpful. They diagnose the issue with your car and provide updates on the progress. They have successfully fixed my car in the past and are always available when there's a problem with my car.

Kind, professional, and thorough, Gary is hands down the best mechanic experience I've had. He took time to explain everything in detail and made sure everything was perfect. Great job. Called mid job to check in and ended up getting more care for my car done slightly ahead of schedule. Gary was polite and accommodating on the phone when scheduling an inspection. Upon parking, one of the workers came up to us and said they can take the car in immediately for the inspection, already knowing what we were there for. The whole process took about 10 mins, it was definitely one of the best services we've received. Well worth the 50 minute drive and I'm glad I chose this place out of all the other plenty automotive businesses in the area!

Despite the distance of an hour's journey from my home, the service I receive here remains unparalleled and is certainly worth the commute.Gary, the man at the helm, is a beacon of honesty and kindness. His genuine care for his customers is evident in every interaction, instilling a sense of trust and comfort that is so crucial in this line of work. I couldn t have had a better experience here. They took my car in as a super last minute inspection appointment right before they closed and ended up fixing two lights in order to have my car pass even as we passed closing time. I had purchased a car out of state so I needed a New York State Inspection. I looked online and found this place which is minutes from my house. I called and spoke to Gary who was very pleasant on the phone (you really don't get that these days). He asked me if I wanted to bring it by that day, but I had plans so I stopped by the next day and he had me out in less than 20 minutes. Very professional and I'll be bringing my cars to Gary for regular maintenance.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Great! Called based on prior reviews, and took me right in when every other place in Nanuet had a few hours of wait time or required an appointment. Are there prices a bit on the high side? Maybe. But the customer service and care was well worth it and Gary provided options to me before committing to anything putting the choice in my hands. Definitely a go to service for Rockland County and didn't want to rush me out. Very cordial and he mentioned a few other recommendations for car care that I hadn't considered and didn't pressure me to ask them to do it. Gary and his team are top notch, moved to Rockland about a year ago and was searching for places for an oil change, etc and he s been great every time I have visited.
