I brought 2 cars in on Saturday for inspections and oil changes, dealt with Jonathan the manager, he was very polite and not pushy. I've had bad experiences with this location in the past but decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did!!! Thanks Jonathan!!!

Drained my transmission fluid instead of oil. Sent me out to drive with no transmission fluid. I would not recommend getting a simple oil change here.

Clueless high school kids working here. Try to sell you everything but the actual thing you re there for a simple oil change. Good luck talking to anyone that has common sense working there.

If they mess up on a repair, they will refuse to refund you. They said they flushed the coolant, doesn't look flushed to me. There's a reason why they have a claims department.

I don't usually go to these oil change places. I find they always try to up sell goods or services you may not need. I was in a rush, and my car was really in need of an oil change, so I bit the bullet. It was as expected expensive, and they tried to sell me services, but I declined. Things have changed a bit post covid, there's no longer a waiting room, and you spend the entire service in your vehicle. It was quick and simple, so I'm giving points for that.

Excellent place to get your oil changed when you don't need to visit your mechanic. They also do a multi check while you sit in the car. Which can be helpful in making sure your vehicle is safe.

Speedy oil change, exactly what you want when it has "oil change" in the name. Staff was polite, stay in the car while they change your oil and check fluids. They are willing to do extra if you want them to, or you can just take the oil change and run.

Hoping Valvoline resolves damage they did to my car. Will update shortly.Update: I got the runnaround from district manager, regional manager, then was dismissed and insulted by the store manager (who wasn't there that day).

They do an efficient job at what they do. But their attempt to upsell is almost extreme. You have to go in prepared to say no to almost everything. This makes it easily possible to miss something important that they suggest. Because of this very strong upsell, I would rather get my oil changes done somewhere else, for example, Mavis Tire in this area.

If this is the one near Chili's at The Mobil Mart on 6 I've been going here for years with all my family cars and never once had a problem. Clean, the staff is polite and I'm in and out no problem. For what it's worth I've done auto repair for many years so.....

Very clean place. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back here again. Also this location does NYS safety inspections on site. That is a big plus since a lot of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations that I have been to do not do the safety inspections . Give them a try. Oh by the way they are located in the Mobil Gas Station. Pull into the back for service.

Went in for an Inspection, came out spending 150 to fail anyway. They have a slick way of letting you know that services they offer will not affect your pass or fail if you do not accept the services. They try to get what they can out of you and then do the inspection. So car failed anyway and still had to pay. They tell me it's company policy that it's that way. It should be illegal. If you ever go for an inspection, just say no to all services, if you pass, you have the option to do them if you want, that was my mistake. They were polite though and just following "policy".

Valvoline at this location was absolutely terrible. Terrible service that costs up to $1400 in repairs to my car. Still waiting for my settlement to arrive since they never showed up in court. The geniuses at this location never put the oil cap filter back in my vehicle and had me drive for up to 2 weeks without it causing damages and issues to my car. This filter that is attached to the cap was misplaced when they initially finished the oil change and had it in the shop for 3 weeks without notifying me. They had 2 forms of communication to get a hold of me and still did not reach out to say something was missing. Went back to them and they confirmed the piece was in place and after another week of disrupted driving. There were way too many things that went wrong while driving my vehicle. A few times, the revs would drop so low it would shut the car off (I drive a manual BMW) and thank god this only happened once or twice at night coming home from work when not many people were on the road.After filing the claim in small claims court I won the case. Judge ruled in my favor since no representative from Valvoline showed up. I am still waiting 8 months later for my check to come in the mail.

Oil change was quick.. they try to upsell various useless products and services. I guess they didn t realize my F-150 Is brand new and has 8K miles. Won t be returning.

I have been going there for a couple of years to get inspections done, they take a long time to do anything and the last time I went they tell me that they can not complete the inspection because the lug nuts were stripped, but I know that he is the one who stripped them with a impact and I am the only person who works on my car so I know they were fine before he touched the car. I had to waste 2 hours fixing his screw up. He also continued to have a attitude about about. It is worth it to drive 2 minutes down the road to mavis.

Always willing to try and help. They work very hard and constant. I've been a patron on numerous occasions and never unhappy with my visit.While you are waiting you are given a comfortable place to sit, read, or just fancy yr cell phone. Thank you staff, I appreciate all your help/service.

Too w little long, but I guess that's just how long it takes. I failed my first inspection, so I had to pay and extra 10 after I fixed my car up.Overall very reasonable price.

Good option for fast oil change. Price may be higher than other options. They also check other things on your car. They showed me my air filter which was dirty so we changed that too for a reasonable additional price.

Efficient and quick service. The Manager is very knowledgeable and kind. Let me know what was going on with my car without pressuring me to buy services. Will be back soon and will recommend others to this store.

Way too slow. Took 45min to do an oil change with air filter. Wasn't even my car but it was sad to watch. The guy working seems angry he has to do his job. Lacks customer service. Pick a different location and save your self some time.

Sitting here at Valvoline listening to these guys trying to sell services and products to people that probably really don't need them. They're as bad as Mavis.So they tried to sell me some air filters "that i need ". NO. Then the synthetic oil sell. NO. Then comes the new wipers. I said they're fine and only a year old. NO. "Well if u dont buy new wipers, i cant pass your inspection." Ill bet if I bought either the filters or the oil, my wipers would have been fine. They werent ripped. But he said hed fail me. It needed to get done today and i had no time to argue. They lost a customer today. Stay away.

I wish I could include pictures. I went in for an oil change and they left the old gasket on my oil filter, then put the new one on. Needless to say I was leaking oil from my filter within a week and a half I had almost no oil left. Had to add oil in myself to make it to another valvoline. I ended up getting it fixed at the Peekskill location. They were wonderful, fast and apologetic. Had I had no experience with cars I wouldn t have thought to check. My engine could have seized. I m verry disscusted by the sheer ignorance.

Such a frustrating experience at this Valvoline. Workers were being especially aggressive when trying to upsell. Using a Groupon is almost not worth it considering how confused they were with handling the transaction. I recommend staying clear of this place.

My Wife went for an inspection and they told her the car needed a serpentine belt, which was replaced a few months prior. When they checked their records they came back and said oh yea, I see that. Okay not needed, I didn t look at it right!! I will not go there again.

Convenient, quick and polite. This place is great. They provide fast wifi while you wait. The waiting room is reminiscent of a 50s diner / drive in movie theater.

Right in, right out, had a coupon for $25 off a synthetic oil change, bada boom, guys are all polite and efficient. Doesn't get much better.
