Thank you! I booked an appointment online that was super easy. When I got to the shop they were ready to take me and were extremely pleasant.I came in for an oil change and had a feeling there was more that needed to be done. The team not only explained step by step what they found, but also walked me around my car and pointed everything out.The team also provided an in depth explanation of what was crucial and what could wait and why in an easy to understand manner.I am so happy I finally found a new mechanic!Love this team!

This place is truly a gem, Jack, Max and Nadeem really went above and beyond to take care of me and my car. Their attention to detail and expertise is truly commendable. It's so important to find a mechanic you can trust. I even arrived late for my appointment and they still worked with me. I can t recommended this place and staff enough!!!

Had a great 1st time experience at Mavis & Iwill definitely be back & will recommend to anyone looking for a new car repair shop. The staff was helpful, friendly & honest. I couldn't ask for more.

The guys here were great! They worked incredibly fast to fix and repair my rear driver-side tire and reprogram my TPMS system with great customer service to boot.

Came in to get rear brake pads and they told me I needed front as well which was an additional $600 and possibly more once they took them off (depending on blah blah blah). They said the rear was metal to metal which I knew, but they said the front was only at 10% which needed to be changed. I knew that was incorrect because I had just had them looked at during an oil change but I didn t argue with them. Just took my car and left. Went down the street and they said my front brake pads were at 70-80% and they aren t even close to needing to be changed. I walked out paying less than half of what mavis wanted.Also when I was in the waiting area, a guy came in with a nail in his tire, waited, paid, tipped the mechanic, got his car back, left, then came back 15 minutes later saying they didn t even get the nail out. He looked at me and said I don t think they even looked at my car .I have no idea what s going on here, but there s definitely a pattern. Oh and they also told me I needed a new battery (I didn t, I just got it replaced). Giving 2 stars because the front desk person was nice but otherwise these guys are either blatantly ripping people off or there s a serious disconnect between the staff.

This place has been amazing for me every time I come here. Richie sadman and Ally as well as Nick been amazing with me when it came to taking care of my car needs and did it very quickly so I could make it to my friends dinner. Have been coming here for about 3 yrs and so far it's been nothing but good for me. :)

Rishi, was very nice today. I came for balancing my tires and they took me right away. Very polite and friendly yet professional! Very happy with MAVIS!While o was waiting for my balancing tires, I was seating in the waiting area and watched some news. Highly recommend to stop by if you got any issue or just need some service your 4 wheels babe :)

These guys are the best. I needed a favor. I dropped a battery pack deep into the engine bay. I was panicking about driving the car. I just showed up there hoping for help. 3-4 guys came out and discussed the best way to get the battery pack out. They ended up taking off the tire and the guy was able to barely reach it from under the car. They didn t want any money for helping me out. How nice. There are still good people out there and a few of them are at Mavis in Long Beach! Thanks guys!

I made an appointment for my car to be inspected. Amazing!!! The receptionist was very friendly. They took my car right away to be inspected. It was so fast. I have been coming here for a few years & I m always satisfied. Thank you!!!

LB Mavis is my go-to for maintenance! The staff is friendly, helpful, and honest. They will always make you feel comfortable while you wait, and treat you with compassion when a huge repair needs to be done. Owning a 13 year old car on the pot-holey streets of Long Beach can be rough, but Mavis is always there to help.

Came in with a flat tire. The Long Beach Mavis Team was very professional and helpful. Unfortunately they were not able to order the tires I needed but they put on my spare free of charge and sent me on my way. I appreciated all their help!

These guys couldnt be better. I went to another garage for a flat, they told me it was fixed and sent me on my way. Less than 3 hours later it was flat again. I went to Mavis in LB, they went out of their way to find the issue, fix the flat, and were so accomodating. Highly recommend!

A huge rock hit my tire on the side of the road and tore my tire badly. I drove to this mavis to get my tire fixed. They did it within an hour! I have never had something done this fast for me. I really appreciate the staff in helping me out with replacing my tire. Saved the day!

Unfortunately I ve had three nails in my brand new tires in 6months. Unbelievable BUT rich and his team have never let me down. I ve never waited more than 3 minutes to speak to someone and they ve fixed my tires in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them for service .

I took my car for full inspection and came back worse after spending 2k n taking it back twice. And it still came back bad. Took it to another mechanic and still needs Roeders n breaks wheel alignment. Another 800. Mavis said they checked everything n car was safe to go cross country. Thanks for a complete nightmare mavis

This is my third time here within the year and I came today, 10/27/2023, for two reasons (fix a flat and NY State Inspection). I dropped my car off at 8:05 AM - it was ready by 10:20 AM. The staff mechanic and manager who helped me today were very accommodating. I couldn't believe the quick turnaround! I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely come back again!!!

I have used Mavis in Long Beach several times for services such as: Tire replacements, oil change, NY Inspection and most recently a battery replacement. Mavis of Long Beach CRASHED my car into their garage door while backing out my car. They gave me a poor excuse the garage door malfunctioned, meanwhile they left the door halfway down and backed my 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe into it damaging the paint, tailgate bracket and shattering the rear window. The store manager attempted to repair the glass scheduling Safelight to replace the glass without my authorization. A week later I am still working with corporate who is haggling me on the warranted repairs and barely covering the cost of my rental during the repairs. They have still not sent me the incident report and I had to come out of pocket for the repairs and the rental due to their continued delay. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. The manager is incompetent and Mavis corporate staff are sticklers.
