Zimmies is another one of those hidden gems in Lockport that you really don't think about until you need them. If you need a tire leak repaired, tires mounted this is the place to go. BUT they are much more than just tires! The staff is amazing!! Forget about the chain stores for repairs. Support local business. You won't be disappointed with Zimmies!!

Excellent, honest, and very knowledgeable. I had some trouble with my tires and they explained my options to me. You can tell they re a well run business. I offered to pay for the service they performed quickly and efficiently but they said I won t be charged anything. They are considerate of your time and will give you a fair estimate of how long it will take them to do something. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I highly recommend them.

I Thank them for their patience with me as it was a hectic morning. They didn't make me feel terrible when waiting for me to make a decision as we are strapped for cash. But wouldn't let me leave unsafe as well. They tried going the extra mile for me even when I wasn't being the easiest at the moment. Normally I am not that customer but it was definitely a rough morning. They made it easier for me to get on with my day and that's all they wanted for me. Took my 2008 Scion tC in for a exhaust leak which almost killed me a few days prior. They were able to remedy the situation in it's entirety. I have not had any leaks and they most certainly went above and beyond on the job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area needing trustworthy work done for a great price. Long time Lockport local it's great to know we have this kinda quality support in our hometown! Do the job once and right at Zimmies!

They do good work. Just get there right when they open because they don't do appointments. First come first served... Good guys. My wife and I had one tire blowout on us and the other front one chewed and ready to go any time, and only one donut spare, while we were 50 miles or so from home, managed to get here without the 2nd tire going, and they took the car right in and took care of it without a wait. We were in and out in about half an hour. Salvaged the first vacation we'd had in years, kept it from turning into a total disaster. Definitely recommend them for your business.

Two new tires. After getting a flat late at night I took my car there in the morning, and they put two new tires on so quickly I was outta there in 45 minutes. Love that place.

These guys were awesome!! Fast, friendly service and easy on the wallet too!!! They fixed my truck in 3 hours. Plus the guy with red hair was super hot!!

Good confident no fuss service but what do you expect from a mechanic. I want honesty and good prices not humor and friends. Changed places and use them for home and work vehicles. They know their business and have been on that site for a long time. First come first serve with a small parking lot.Whatever...I need tires at a good price and they deliver. Ask for Doug.

I have been going to Zimmies for most of a lifetime and I have never had anything but good service at a reasonable price. Yes I know how to do most of the things that their shop mechanics do, I have rebuilt engines and transmission's, changeed tires , patched tires, but now most of the time I have them do it. They are quick and do everything you ask right the first time. I know at least three generations of the family and they have kept a consistent quality repair shop alive and growing. You should go there!

I won't take my cars anywhere else. I now live about 30-40 min away from Zimmies so taking my cars there is not convenient but I don't trust anyone else. They are honest and never try to take advantage. Everything is always done very quickly even when parts are needed. As a side note being a women I never feel talked down to or taken advantage of and I feel comfortable discussing options even though I know nothing about cars.

I set an appointment and it was within a few days (because they are so busy, but its worth it) They had my appointment first thing in the morning for an oil change and once I got there they already had my appointment pulled up and immediately put my car in the garage. I appreciate the fast paced working environment and I appreciate the professionalism.

I went there right about closing, not thinking, or looking at the hours posted right on the door! Needing help with tires and possible other issues, this man, Doug Zimmerman was so much of what so many other businesses are lacking. Outstanding customer service. He was helpful, kind and patient. I would recommend Zimmies tires all day, everyday.

Not worth the place. I only took in my car a couple of times and do not approve how they run their business. They basically assume they knew what is wrong and decided to "clean" my internal car parts, which did absolutely NOTHING! And before that, they missed some things that should have been caught and overcharged me. Just too pricey and do not approve the "First Come, First Serve" method and takes too long to find out what is wrong with the car.Another car was taken in repeatedly with several problems, which delays further and when returned, it was a complete screwed up! Blew the engine up when trying to replace oil filter. Returned again, the heater system no longer works. Returned again, the heater still not working and only blows out cold air. Never returning again!

Zimmies did a inspection on my vehicle a while back and gave it a pass for a dealer i purchased the car from. So once i noticed some concerns i was advised by the dealer ro returned to Zimmies because they knew my vehicle and i was under warranty. So i went in to zimmies about a leak and a noise. Doug the owner. Took my vehicle on a test ride. Came back and said he sees nor hears any issues with my vehicle. And sent me on my way. Now fast forward to 2018 and to get my car inspected only to fail on preexisting hundreds of dollars worth of issues that would have had to be seem if Zimmies had infact did a true inspection on this vehicle a year ago. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.Doug seems to be a great upfront kinda guy but he's a scammer. He just may know about cars but dont trust him. Prices are way to high. The wait is way to long. He's a fast talker and will soothe you but he's just as any other B.s shop they want your money and for you to return. Its one thing to scam and defraud people but your own community. People who Im pretty sure he himself as well as his son have known and grown up with. Its heartbreaking and sad. If you do or have gone to him and are infact unsatisfied dont be afraid to sue. The process is super easy and Lockport city judges are truly fair you will get your money back. Small claims under $5000 only cost $15 to file.

I was going to replace my upstream O2 sensor on my 1998 Toyota 4Runner myself only to discover the hold down nuts to be rusted really bad so decided not to even attempt to remove them because I couldn't take the chance of snapping the studs and ruining the catalytic converter. I first called Monroe Muffler and was told that they would most likely break the stud and I'd need a new cat installed... I called Zimmies based on so many positive reviews. I can't thank these guys enough for getting the job done with no drama and reasonable labor cost. I think I've found my new repair shop... Thanks Zimmies for saving me a major hassle!

unbelievable..I rebuild a lot of cars.After one, took the car to zimmie"s for an align ment, they screwed it up royal, gave me the wildest tale of what was wrong w/the car, I shook my head,told him the REAL facts of the matter,and told him money back, or I"m walking across the street to the BBB.I almost made it, cell rang, I got my money back.He blamed the botchjob on his employee. obviously.After that , went to Reber"s...good and honest

This place used to be a class act place. There customer service has always been good. Zimmies is partnered with nickel city auto. That is where there problem lies. Nickel city is so scummy they are literally putting a TERRIBLE image onto zimmies. If i can give any advice to zimmies, it would be drop your agreement with nickel city, regardless if you get business from them. They are killing your reputation.
