I've been to this location a couple times. The first experience, I made an appointment, then when I showed up for the appointment, it had been cancelled with no communication. They made a new appointment and then it went fine from there.The second time, I decided to walk in for an oil change as making an appointment hadn't exactly worked out the first time. I get there and they tell me it will be a wait, appointments come first - which is fine, I totally get it, but they sounded like I was a total inconvenience. The wait ended up being about 2 hours and as it went on, I checked the website to see if they did have any appointments available. There was an opening coming up at about 11, so I claimed it to hold my spot in line (It was about 10 at this point). The shop manager came out about 10:30 - 10:45 to start the process to bring my car back, sees I made an appointment, and then makes a sarcastic comment about it. Which I don't get, because it was pretty much for the exact same time they were bringing me back anyway. After all that, my car started leaking oil. I took it to another shop and discovered the drain plug was never properly tightened.At this point I'll just save myself the headache and go elsewhere from now on.

Chuck was AMAZING. So thorough, explained everything, you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Robert was also great, actually everyone was pleasant and seem to really care about the customer, so very rare these days, would HIGHLY recommend pep boys in Lockport south transit!! Thank you again chuck!!!

Had rotors and pads replaced, plus one tie rod end (made an appointment). Manager was super nice, but I waited in the shop 6 hours (until close) and the car still wasn't 100% complete. Brakes were making noise and I was told to come back to finish sanding something another day. I didn't do that. My waisted hours cost me more than the repair. Had it finished somewhere that respected my time

Very easy to schedule an appointment online. They worked on my vehicle right away. I did not wait long at all. The staff treats you like family, very kind and easy going people. I will 100% return for service shall I ever need it. Highly recommend this business. Great service, fair prices, easy appointment scheduling

Totally scammed me!!! Took my car there yesterday 1/24/24 because it would not start. The guy Charles (chuck) was a total Jerk and tried to take advantage of me and told me I needed gas so I walked across the street to get the gas. After putting in the gas, waiting a little, then trying to start it, nothing happened he said its the alternator. He calls me 5 hours later and says I poked around the fuse box and got it to start somehow but I don t know what I did and still charges me a diagnostic fee of $107.99 for labor yet they never fixed my car. Today 1/25/24 my car broke down again!!! DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE!!!!

They took exceptional care of my BMW, after unexpectedly having to get a new set of tires . Their customer service and communication was also good, I will come to them again with any of my other vehicles in the future

I made an appt, for an inspection and showed up early, and was told the person who does inspections left early, I wasn t happy, that they didn t reach out to me, and let me know, and reluctantly made another appt for the inspection and oil change. I went in early again, they pulled me right in, knocked out the inspection and oil change and got me on my way, super quick. I m not one to do 2nd chances, ever! But the convenience of making the appt. online is super easy, and figured We ll see how it goes , I'm super happy I did, and will be going back for future work.

I took my car in because my tire pressure system was indicating low pressure. The service tech was able to find the problem and fixed my tire. It was completed quickly and I was on my way. I'm very pleased with the service I received. I will return if needed.

Overall a poor experience. It took total of 7 days and trips to three locations before I could find someone able to help me out in honoring a road hazard warranty claim.

Amazing service! Chuck was everything a service person should be! Attentive, knowledgeable, kind, understanding etc. because of him I will definitely be using Pepboys for all services they offer.

As long as Will is there, I won't be a customer! I've been going there for 10yrs. Rude,charged me $100 for half hour labor and I brought the part in. Kyle and the previous 2 service desk guys were much better. Every time I go I feel like I'm gonna get screwed over. If you want to be taken advantage of, then Will's the guy to deal with. I'll go back to 5 stars once he's gone.

Stopped by the day before to ask some questions and they got me a service appointment for the next day for the tire balance and alignment I was looking to get done. When I arrived for my appointment (10mins early) they took my car right back and started working on it, and they ended up finishing quicker then the time frame they originally quoted! The staff was extremely friendly and while I have a regular mechanic that I go to, I will absolutely be back for anything outside the scope of what they do.

Google says pep boy lockport is open and a tech said a month ago that they were open on sunday's. Ive tried calling random times since they "opened" this morning no answer.

I cannot say enough great things about all of the guys here. We have brought our cars here for years, and we have always been very well taken care of! They never do anything that isn't needed, are honest, and fair priced. It is really great to have somewhere we can actually trust!! That is a rare find these days!!

Would give it ZERO stars but google won't let me. Took may 1 year old car for an inspection and oil change. Didn't think much when the manager said he didn't know how much oil the car took so he put in 7 quarts. 2 days later error message on my car said too much oil and need to drain some. Called the storeto get that rectified and they said we are really busy. Give us a couple days. Google tells me how much oil should be in the car and why wouldn't that be something a place would know. Horrible customer service and the manager Will was very unhelpful.

The Pep Boys on S. Transit is a good place to take your vehicle in for any type of service . The Staff is kind & friendly & knows their stuff. Very helpful & great service. Will be back again for my vehicle needs.

Bought tires offline. Dropped off truck. They call me an hour later saying they don t have the correct tires and try and sell my tires for double the price of tires I ordered.

Very pricey for tires. Also took almost 3 hours just to get tires. Very dark in waiting room like no lights on. Never going back there.

Poor manager attitude Brandon who worked on my car was very kind and polite te. Wil the manager went on and on about how Carvanna didn't pay for thr last repair yet and how they were paying enough for parts. Had to return the car and ended up paying out of pocket for their mistake

Honest people.One of my valve stems was releasing air and I brought it to another shop who said it would take an hour and would cost $50.I stopped here and the employee came out and had it fixed in less than 10 seconds and didn't charge a dime. Simply tightened it with a screwdriver.Next time I need tires I will come here.

Workers are rude and sarcastic at the front desk. I could hear the workers cursing in the garage while they are working on peoples cars. I asked for the $20 coupon for an oil change and they refused to put it on. I had to get a manager who was sarcastic. Do not get an oil change from this place. They over charge and are rude. I am not planning on returning to this location ever. I had new tires put on the car and thru the whole process I felt like "I really should just ask for my car and leave now" I wish I did.
