My mate and I came in for our oil change and the team here are amazing. All super friendly and efficient. We got the works done and it didn't take them long at all. I recommend this location to anyone near or far.

Got a state inspection done. There was one car inside and 2 cars in front of me, I waited maybe an hour and a half to get in and another 30 mins for my inspection to be done. Happy with the service. Be prepared to wait a reasonable amount of time when you go because I think they're a lot of people s choice for state inspections.

For starters, I waited almost two hours for 3 state inspections in front of me. Second, took off my inspection sticker before it passed. Third, they looked for any minor detail they could to fail me even though I have a newer truck with no faults.(ie-a high beam where you don t need it in NYS). They intentionally messed with a cracked taillight and when I drove back to my home the cover was gone. Lastly, they removed an object of sentimental value to me and did not put it back-will never go here again save yourself time and go elsewhere.

I had an inspection done takes about a half an hour. Get there about half hour or better before they open though because they line up for inspections. There were three vehicles in line when I got there at 7:15 and they open at 7:30

The same staff members refuse service hours before closing because they think they won't get done in time. These are also the same people who forgot to tighten the wheel on my mother's jeep (yes it did come off) and they left an oil wrench underneath my hood; luckily no damage. I also went to three Valvoline locations in one day (57, 31 and 11) with nobody on as an inspector at 2 and the Liverpool location refusing to serve me well over an hour before closing (mind you it was a reinspection; 5 mins to check a horn; they did the original). I've spent thousands with them but they have caused too much wasted time, money and I don't trust them anymore so I'll certainly be going elsewhere going forward and advising others of the same. #Valvoline

Super nice staff, quick service times. Went in today for an inspection, and the power went out mid service. Staff continuously checked in with me (i chose to wait for power to come back on) and make sure i was comfortable. Clean shop as well.

I used to have basic services done here due to my old place being sold and service declined. I hated one guy who worked for you on route 57 in Liverpool and I went elsewhere due to his lack of customer service skills. He seemed angry and was short tempered with me. I took my business elsewhere because of him. The woman who was there yesterday was great! Thorough, effective, efficient and friendly. No complaints about this location now.Well done

I ve never seen anywhere take an hour to inspect each car in line. I got there at 10:20 and was not inspected until after 3:00 and to make it more fun the car in front of me actually took well over an hour after I had to sit there and watch the employees let the customer clean 6 bags of trash out of their car for around 20 minutes instead of sending her back out into the parking lot to clean it out. I will never be using Valvoline for any of their services again they are not managed well at all

First time going to this location for a quick oil change and will be my last. They searched everything they could find to add more expensive charges. My car had recently passed inspection with another reputable mechanic shop but I was told here that my brake lights were out??? Really not sure how my car could pass inspection. I agreed to have them replace brake lights. I exited my vehicle so that I could unlock my trunk so that they could replace brake lights. After I opened my trunk I had bag of laundry, blanket and few other stuff in the trunk which was exposed to the staff. So when the staff finished all maintenance work on the car ryan and the one who replaced my brake lights female who wore glasses were laughing uncontrollably non stop. So i paid for my services drove a bit down the road then pulled over to park so that I could secure the trunk only to find one of my bras pulled out of the laundry bag and strung over the top of the laundry bag that's when I figured out what they were laughing about. But the joke is on them because of there unprofessional and amateur behavior I will never set foot on this place ever again I will go back to my trusted professional mechanic I have trusted for years. Shame on the staff there the price I paidwas not worth a dime based on the extremely poor customer experience and extremely rude and immature behavior .

They were fast and efficient. Never had a problem here. They are over the top courteous which is a lost art in today's service industry. They explain everything and make life easy. You could complain about the price but they save you tons of time and time is money. Going somewhere else, taking up twice the time and having to sit in a filthy waiting room to save a few bucks is your prerogative but I recommend this quick service!!

Excellent service! Very friendly crew - they had a lot to do and were quick & efficient but didn't cut corners like some of the other Valvoline stations I've gone to.

I had to make an unexpected car trip at the last minute. I have been to this same Valvoline before with good results. I thought I had better go in today since I needed the oil changed before this trip. It had to be done super fast and my car checked over before my trip. I pulled in, a care in the bay in front of me just finishing. I was waved up. Explained I was in a super hurry. I had a female attendant, super fast, super confident, checked everything in the check list. Changed my oil, filter, checked all other fluids, tires, air. I had a couple things that will need attention from my mechanic that I did not know about, but was greatly appreciated being advised. They did an excellent job. So glad I went there. I'll gladly be back again. THANK YOU VALVOLINE

The staff at Valvoline were awesome! I had called beforehand to ask about wait time and pricing. The woman who answered was very friendly and helpful. Told me exactly how much it would cost and even sent me a coupon for $15 off my oil change. There was no wait time. I got right in and out. They even told me the oil cap wasn't tightened properly after the last oil change. Can't thank you guys enough! Very very happy with the service and highly recommend!

You cant go wrong with these guys! They went above and beyond for me today. I appreciate their understanding as to health issues. They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, and very polite! I will continue to do business when necessary with Valvoline for sure!

I'm a master mechanic and not accustomed to having someone else service my vehicle. I came for an oil change, tire rotation, state inspection and an air filter. These guys and gals did a great job! They followed procedure, made their call outs during the service and were courteous and friendly. I was impressed and wanted to share my experience. Thank you to the crew!

Quite busy but 30 min did the trick. Good or bad they check alot while there changin the oil. Didn't know whether to trust them or not. They checked cabin air filter , showed me it was bad. Ok change jeese 50 bucks seems high . On the other hand i requested an air filter and they showed me it was like new. So may be trustworthy, but pricy. I had a 20 dollar voucher si i figured may b 50 out of pocket darn more like 100 . I work near courtland see valvoline signs all over 40 oil change, somehow all syracuse area locations more like 60 bucks go figure. And you know over 5 ots you pay for the extra qt. My advice get a quote before you pull in

Only took about an hour waiting in line on a weekday to get serviced. There is an valvoline app that gives you estimated wait times of all their locations in the area. It is not accurate for this location. I stopped there because the app said 5 minutes. The service itself was very good but they really try to force their extra services down your throat as soon as you get in there. The employees were clearly exhausted. It was obvious they were doing the best they could and that anything negative in my experience could be attributed solely to their corporate overlords.

Not only were they professional and skilled at the work, but the employees here went so far above and beyond, I will never go anywhere else! I went alone with my toddler and had to get an oil change and inspection. They handled the oil change quickly and when I needed to leave the vehicle with my daughter for the inspection, they did everything they could to be kind and helpful. They had a nice grassy area where we sat, they offered to bring me a chair so I didnt need to sit on the ground, waited patiently for me to pull out the stroller, and even drove my car around for me so we didn't need to walk out by the road. Matt, in particular, told me about his brand new baby daughter and was just so incredibly kind and understanding. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They could have done none of these things and been perfectly acceptable, but each and every person I worked with went out of their way to be extra helpful and friendly.Service: Oil change

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation earlier today and I couldn't believe how friendly the service people here were. Usually, taking your car to the shop for maintenance is a hassle and mechanics aren't always the nicest of people but my experience here was the total opposite of what I'm used to. Johana did a great job answering my questions and made me feel like a valued customer. I will definitely be returning whenever I need service in the future!

This is the first quick change oil place I have ever been to that doesn't try to upsell you on every possible thing. During these times of covid it's nice just to sit in your car and not have to get out and wait in a waiting room.The cameras are nice because you can see what they are doing under your car. Always in and out in under 20 minutes which is great. If you have the app they frequently send coupons which is a plus. The guys and gals are always friendly.

Love the staff at this particular Valvoline. They are very nice and efficient. And I know when they tell me things are possibly wrong with my car they are not just trying to make money because most of the things they tell me aren't even Services they offer they're just trying to be nice. They're pretty efficient and always seem to have enough people working.

They unplugged a sensor to check the air filter while doing an oil change and then did not plug it back in correctly!! This led to the vehicle loosing power and then stalling while driving 65mph on the highway and disabling the vehicle in traffic with our 4 kids in there! It was incredibly dangerous and we had to call 911 for the safety of our kids, us, and other drivers. We were on the way home (out of state) and had to instead end up paying for a hotel, towing, and the service to find and fix the problem that night. We also had to miss work the next day due to the delay. It was an extremely stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable situation. We trusted this company and all of this could have been avoided had the mechanic been more careful and made sure he fully plugged a simple sensor back in! I really hope they learn from this and don't put anyone else's children in danger!!Service: Oil change
