My daughter was buying her 1st car on her own. The experience was incredible! The team at Great Lakes Honda definitely are true professionals and a class act. Our Product Knowledge Expert-Matt Nurod went above and beyond to make certain she was fit in a suitable, comfortable vehicle that not only met her needs, but she could maintain within her budget. In addition, Brandy Young, Sales Mgr., also was very present during our time on site and took a personal interest in making certain the financial arrangements were comfortable for her to maintain and worked diligently along side with Matt to make this happen. Even at the point of finalization, Erin in Finance genuinely encouraged and reassured my daughter.As a business owner myself, I must say the customer service was OUTSTANDING,! Working with Danielle was wonderful! I was looking for a more dependable vehicle that was an upgrade from my previous suv. She found me the best fit to meet what exactly what I was looking for and got me on the road with it that very same day. Things moved in a timely manner and she was so welcoming and accommodating. I would go to her again for any other vehicle purchase and will always recommend her to others as well. I d give her more than 5 stars if I could!

I first would like to say that without help from Chris milks the sales manager I would have not of been able to get the car for the right price he reached out and let me know about the deal so Firstly thank you Chris! Wesam was my salesman and he did a great job at explaining everything and making me feel comfortable. Mike also helped get me the best deal possible and I am very appreciative. Great lakes has a amazing team and I seriously suggest others to not hesitate to do business with them!!!!

This was my first time buying a car from Great Lake Honda City. The moment I walked in I was immediately greeted by the staff. I was assisted by a car salesman named Chezarae Gonzalez aka Chez . He was very friendly and answered all my questions concerning the car I wanted to look at. He helped me get through the purchase process quickly as well as Elizabeth Bilinski. Very good experience at Great Lakes Honda.Our sales person, Dave, was very helpful and easy to work with. It took awhile to reach a deal but both Dave and the sales manager, Michael worked with us to reach a deal without high pressure.We re very happy with the sales experience!Katie in the business office was also very easy to work with, explaining the possible add on packages but no high pressure to accept. We really appreciate that.Overall, we definitely recommend GLH!

I ve been working with Kellen and Charlie for the last few weeks. This will be my 4th vehicle lease with Great Lakes Honda City. This experience has topped any previous time I have had been here. Kellen went above and beyond to keep me updated, work around my busy schedule, and made for a very stress free process. We had to wait a couple weeks for my vehicle to come in and when it finally did I swear Kellen was just as excited as I was! He even sent me a picture. Charlie made the finance paperwork super easy, and even saved me a little off my monthly payment! Kellen has an amazing energy and every time I ve come in to complete a step he has been happy and helpful. It honestly felt like talking to a good friend. I definitely recommend asking for Kellen when you come in for your next vehicle!

Updating my review but leaving it at 5 stars! Kellen was great at making the process as fast and efficient as possible. Came in with concerns regarding my lease and walked away feeling confident and having a better understanding as a relatively new leaser. I didn t have the pleasure of working with him last time but he set me up with a fair deal, keeping my future interests in mind which is always so appreciated! If you re looking for someone with confidence, personality, and top tier knowledge, ask for Kellen!!!

My vehicle had an unexpected mechanical issue. I left it with no appointment on a Sunday night. I heard from service Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday regarding the issue and the plan to fix it.I was provided a loaner. On Thursday afternoon I was notified my car was ready for pickup.The service was outstanding as it always has been. Sean kept in touch with me throughoit the process and he is one of the reasons I have bought 3 vehicles there and recommended Great Lakes Honda to many friends.

My experience at Great Lakes Honda was 10/10. I highly recommend Chezarae Gonzalez Chez . He was so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He s not the typical car salesman you encounter. Great Lakes Honda City just put me in the seat of my new 2024 Honda Pilot! This is my 3rd Pilot and I really wanted the Obsidian Blue Elite this time. Great Lakes Honda City reached out across the network of dealerships to find one for me in Ohio. They located an exact match, took delivery right here in Syracuse, and secured great rate financing. The day of delivery was quite the experience from negotiating a super fair price, to a great deal on the extra protections, topped off with true patience going over every detail of the car before wishing me the best as I drove out of the heated showroom. I had the best experience at Great Lakes Honda City leasing my first car! Everyone was friendly and offered refreshments as soon as we walked in the door. The salesman I worked with (Matt) was very easy to talk to and work with. He answered all my questions. What he didn't know he was not afraid to say so and would ask the right person to get the answer. He addressed any concerns I had and made sure I left a happy customer. He followed up even after I took possession of the vehicle to make sure all work that I was promised was getting done. I am still waiting for my second key but I trust that will be taken care of soon. The service department was equally accommodating. A touch up that was missed was taken care of quickly and at my convenience.

Gino in the collision center is wonderful. I was hit in the back of my car by another driver. Gino kept me informed every stepof the way. He gave me a loaner for the 2 days it took for repairs. Honda City recently was sold by the Townsends and has been rebranded by the new owners as Great Lakes Honda City. Recently, after my vehicle was totaled, I found myself in need of buying a new one. I conducted a lot of research to narrow down the list of what I wanted and Great Lakes Honda City had what I was looking for.My father established us as a purchasing family at Honda City over 20 years ago. I had also, years ago, introduced my best friend to Honda City and he and his family had become faithful buyers from them. Recently he told me about a bad experience he had there when looking to buy a new car from them. We were waiting to be seated for dinner while he was telling me about his experience when a stranger, who had overheard the conversation, felt compelled to chime in with his own bad experiences. I decided I would still give Great Lakes Honda City a try because of the history my family and I have had with the company.Walking into the salesroom floor felt daunting. There were about 3 times as many people on the sales floor than there were the last time I purchased a vehicle there. I felt like we consumers were cattle being led to the slaughter. It was so impersonal.The prices were not unreasonable, but I personally needed them to move the needle just a little bit. I would have been happy even if it was just $100 but they were not willing to budge 1 cent. Nothing mattered to them, not the fact that my family and I had been doing business there for over 20 years. Not that we have referred dozens of people to them over the years, who have become new customers for them.The salesperson sat right across from me and gave me a moment to think things over and proceeded to go through his cellphone while waiting for me to make up my mind. It was at this time I decided to look around to see what other people were experiencing and it looked pretty miserable to me. I decided that I deserved better. I thanked the salesperson, stood up to leave and he didn t care that I was on my way out the door. That s because there would be another person right behind me to occupy that seat.It is all a numbers game to Great Lakes Honda City. Like I said, they have decent prices, and the salesperson even told me that they price their vehicles to sell and if it s not me it would be someone else. In the past, working with the Townsends was great. Like the old show Cheers, it was nice to go where everyone knows your name. In the past, I was treated like a person and not a number. I was dealing with a single person for most of the process. Under the new regime, everyone is basically passed around from one person to another like a ragdoll. I am saddened by what has become of Honda City. That being said, this really is no longer the place for me. If you value great customer service, I suggest going elsewhere.

I have had great service people here and they have been nothing but nice. Especially Ron. He is the nicest guy I have encountered here and always explains everything. However, every time I bring my car in when something goes wrong, that is not normal maintenance, they claim nothing is found. My car has been there about 10 times in the past year. The last time my vehicle was in was for a state inspection and when I went to pick up my vehicle, they were very rude and snippy with me. I had just walked in the door and got greeted with attitude. I will not be going back for service after how I was treated.

Professional, courteous, attentive, responsive, responsible, and pleasant service as always. I have chosen to come here for years now ever since Steve first helped with fixing a rare problem with my car that no other dealership had been able to diagnose and fix, as I had written in another review. I was very impressed then, and still impressed now with the service from this dealership, particularly because I can always count on Steve to manage to deliver the best timely solutions for every situation.

Not happy, not satisfied at all!! I got home parked my car, everything was fine.. later on.. headed to pick-up my nephew and guys from his highschool football team, got in my car.. and I'll be dog gone!!! Same problem was still there.. Reverse camera was still black with yellow lines!!!! OMG!!! Talk about disappointment!!! I called right away and spoke to the service mgr, who couldn't believe this happened either.. and now I'm headed back to the service department in the morning! stay tuned for results!!
