I have been at Monro in Latham several times and every time I come here they have different managers and techs. They had a tech Josh who was very good, he was moved to the Guilderland store. Today Chris Simpson was the manager and he was very nice and personable, I asked to see my rear brakes that I had been told needed them and he obliged. The tech Sharmar was also very nice and he did my brakes. I am hoping Monro keeps both of them in Latham. They need consistency! People like to know and see the same people and develop a trust for the business! Please post a reply to my post.

Let me start this by stating I had a 8:00am appointment for an inspection on my 2024 Kia. I arrived at 7:50. The young lady name Trish was very kind, stated the techs had nor arrived.At 8:15 there were still no techs.At 8:30 I was told that the Tech ( Matt) was now due to arrive at 9:00!!!I returned at 8:45.Tech arrived at 9:01, took my car in, and then spent the next10 min talking to Jeremiah, and the Aramark man. 9:20 my car was done, however I'm not sure what he inspected as the only thing the tech did was scan the registration sticker!!

Come here if you have a fear of jiffy lube or another shop using an impact gun on your oil pan bolt, these guys do oil changes the right way and will make you feel at home while doing so!Awesome staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Was able to be squeezed in for the oil change 90 minutes to closing, done in less than an hour. Will definitely be back and recommending anyone in need of solid servicing here, thanks again guys!

Tony and his crew were amazing. They took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Great customer service on top of being skilled mechanics. They went above and beyond to take care of my vehicle. I highly recommend them.

I just had my oil changed here and the service was fantastic. They had me in and out in 30 minutes. Tony and Sloan were both very helpful. This place has a shockingly calm atmosphere for a shop, I will definitely be back.

My car was there for two weeks before it even got checked. Then an additional week to wait for a part.So three weeks in a shop all to fix an alternator then they try to charge me $700 to put a new battery in and labor when I didn t tell him to. so they took it out and I came with my own new battery after I paid the deductible the guy tells me good luck so now we waiting to see what else get messed up in the car because who tell somebody good luck..

I took my Pilot here and Tony is a beast. He found out exactly what was wrong with my car and actually showed me so I know he wasn't lying, unlike other shops I've been to that will try to sell you parts you really don't need. He's a very friendly and outgoing guy and the staff here are knowledgeable about the cars and service. Great shop!

Great experience. Van started to sound like a go kart while running errands nearby. Called and Josh said they could take a quick look. He got it right up on a lift to check out, found the issue (thankfully minor), and took care of it right away. Fair price. Clear explanation, showed me the issue. Really appreciate Josh fitting in the quick help.

Very friendly and very helpful! The guys didn t waste any time and went right to work. I was looking to get established with a new shop and me and my family will definitely will be returning for all of our auto service needs. My car broke down as I was in the area visiting. I took it into the shop. They are the only ones in the area that are open on a Sunday. They got me in and out with excellent service and also worked with me. Highly recommend.

Michael and his team are THE BEST. They saved me when I ran over a huge construction screw right before their shop closed. Super grateful for them for patching my tire, and for staying open a few minutes after close to help me out! 5 stars!!!

Mike R was professional, kind and knowledgable. Was told by another local shop where I got my oil changed the day before that my tires would pass inspection (I had my doubts). Mike showed me the wear and dry rot on the inside of tires. I couldnt have the tires replaced right then because I had somewhere to be. Called Mike around 4:30 the same day and he said to bring it right over. I appreciate his genuine and caring nature.

I had a great experience today when I brought my Kia forte in. The gentleman that helped me out was really nice and offered great service. I went in for an oil change and car inspection. All done within and hour. I will continue to bring my business to them 10/10.

Mike, the manager at Monroe, and his team were fantastic. Quickly and efficiently resolved the issue with my vehicle. Mike kept me updated and confirmed permission before making any changes. Highly recommend for your vehicle needs.

Took my car to Monroe in Latham and the guy said it was my two front axles it took him less than a hour to fix it drove my car home..The next day I drove my car two blocks from the house and the same problem happened ..I had to get it towers back to them..Which I really didn't want to do bit I paid 903$/for my car to get fix and it wasn't fixed properly!!! Not happy at all!! I am a 63 year old woman with mental problem on disability..Not very professional at all!!

EDIT: I made an appointment for an oil change at 5 PM. I showed up at about 445 and was told no problem- They could start my car then. I sat around, waiting for a little bit, wondering why it was taking so long. At about 5:35 I decided to ask if there was a problem with my car because I ve never had an oil change take this long. I was told by the two gentlemen that my drain plug was so tight we were afraid we were going to damage it taking it off . As we were speaking it came off. They showed me what it look like but it just looked like a a normal drain plug. I find it very hard to believe that they spent 45 minutes trying to get this drain plug off and then as soon as I walked in, they were able to get it off. Communication could be better

Chris at the counter was great. Very professional and courteous. I got very good service at a great price and they checked everything on my car. To make sure everything was good. My wait time on a tire rotation and oil change was only 20 minutes and they were very quick doing the work. I will be back.

Came in to get a safety inspection, they got me in and out pretty quick. They let me know that I had some front end issues that would need to be fixed. Good job guys
