Clean Parking lot, friendly staff. I would have given 5 stars . But.. The employee helping me looked up the headlight i needed for the make and model of my vehicle and pulled it from the shelf for me. After looking at it, i said "im pretty Sure that's not the right light". Yet he continued to insist it was. So i bought it, went outside to change the bulb and BAM! Bobs your uncle.. it was indeed the wrong bulb. Which then turned intothe need to walk back in and return it for the correct item.

Im doing something different in this review, Im rating this store from 2 points of view, first as a customer and secondly as an employee! Im an older shade tree mechanic and motorcyclist with quite a few years under my belt and having purchased a decent amount of parts and needed supplies for my cars and motorcycles here at this location, I can easily say this store is clean and very well lit, there is a very decent amount of inventory, fair pricing,and the big difference here is that everyone I have had the pleasure to have dealt with is extremely friendly and very helpfull and unlike quite a few other businesses the crew here actually care about what they do! The second part of this review is from me as a current employee of the past 10 months. I got hired this past March and from the start every single person here has been helpfull and an absolute joy to work with! Ive worked for many automotive warehouse/stores over the years to name a few,,Ehrlichs, Wheels, Napa, Big A auto, Agars Motorcraft,Clifton Park Toyota,Pffeifers speed parts, and probably a few I have missed . there were some good folks that I had the pleasure of working with there as well, but not on the same level as Autozone! For the first time in many years, working here really does feel like a true family and I actually feel good every day I come to work! I cant say enough about our staff and how much they help everyone and in some cases bend over backwards and go far and beyond to help me as an employee and more importantly our customers as well.

One day I was driving back from vacation and on the way my car got heated up and somehow I ended up here. The assistant manager Gerard and one of the staff member was so supportive to me that I am unable describe in words. My family and was able to get home with all the kinds and support. We are so grateful for the support we received. The support was beyond imaginable. Thanks a lot Gerard.

Great place to do business with! Needed windshield wipers. The representative at the store made a reasonable recommendation based on my need and installed them on the spot. The buying/installation process was quick and easy! I will continue to be a returning customer.

Your team member Austin is an example of SUPERB customer service, he assisted with the part and installation consultation I needed to make sure I had lights on for an upcoming night trip. He is a great asset to your company !!

I drove to this location last month because a different Auto Zone didn't have one of the windshield wiper sizes I needed for my car. This was a somewhat different experience from the previous store. I was impressed with the inventory, the staff person's knowledge re: the wiper brands I'd considered, and the spontaneous offer to install both wipers on-site. He didn't try to up-sell me, or push other auto products. The store is clean and well-organized, I was greeted courteously, and it was a completely satisfactory experience. I'll definitely return to this location for my car supplies.Update 2022: Went in looking for a back support for my driver's seat after a nasty fall & injury. The employee that helped me realized that I couldn't bend over far enough to grab & check out the different models, so stayed & assisted me. Another good experience!Update 1 year later same great service re: assistance with product selection, and a full on-site install. A shout-out to Junior for his courtesy, patience, and his persistence with a resistant rear wiper.

Needed a quick fix when the piece to screw in my license plate broke. I called to make sure they had what I needed. Darrell was so helpful and even helped me attach it to my car right then.

The employees were helpful and polite and ensured I had the correct part for my car. They even installed it free of charge. Another store was unable to verify that I was buying the correct part and consequently I ended up with the wrong item and wasted my time and went longer without the part I needed.

I won't come back to this location again. That I promise, needed help on one simple and quick thing and got treated as a bother and had to wait at least +20 minutes for help on the one thing.. Insult to injury the person that helped me had no idea what they were doing let alone how to do what I needed help with (checking my battery).. Got treated better at the location in Watervliet which is where I'll be taking my business from now on if I need anything.

Just got some help from Ben about some wiper blades. Dude is juggling like 3 people at once and still rushed to help me. I was blown away by his care and attitude. Hope this place treats him well. He really knows his stuff.

The only place in the area that rented the tool I need. But the tool was broken. It was partly my fault for not double checking in the store--make sure you check the obvious stuff. So 4 stars because it's a free rental anyway and the problem can be rectified. Cost me about 1 hour extra in the end. I'm happy they offer the tool.

Best autoparts store in the 518, told me the right part for me car, ensured me that it would work and guess what . It sure did. Christoper and the other guy were extremely helpful, unbelievably respectful and also extremely caring. I assure and definitely will tell everyone from now on to go and get their autoparts from them, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

The sales person there was very helpful and even had one of the employees install my battery that I purchased and it was not as simple as changing a light bulb but the Autozone employee was patience and intelligent and the courtesy in which that it was done. Priceless.

This place is ok. Avoid Matt at all costs he's an idiot. Josh, Lee and Andy are always helpful. Sadly Josh has left but also so has Matt most who work there now are very helpful

The people working there are not happy to help me out. I tried looking for a cap that would fit my oil cartridge and when I asked one of the employees they told me it was in aisle 1. I kept looking for it and had no hope finding it. I asked the same employee and he said it should be there and never helped me on finding it. I won t be returning again and will instead spend my money at advanced auto.

The two geniuses working the last time I went in were screwing around on the ladder in the back while getting my part off of the shelf. Of course, I received the wrong part as a result. When I brought the part in an hour later to return it, the woman who appeared to be in charge told me she could not accept it because it appeared to have been "on the car". This half-wit couldn't understand the fact that the part could not have been put on my car because it was not for my car! The two stooges were unapologetic and rude about the ordeal. I returned the part with no hassle at a different AutoZone location. Avoid this store.

I'm am from Vermont my windshield wipers stopped working properly I stopped at Autozone in Latham N.Y. the 2 gentlemen inside helped me out it was cold weather and the guy still came out and helped every step of the way it was OCT 25, 2016 I was very pleased with the help they offered very friendly and showed perfect work ethics Autozone couldn't have hired better people THANK YOU so much ANDREW and DAN of Latham N.Y. Autozone you should be up for a raise and or promotion someday and again THANK YOU FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE

I purchased a headlight bulb and because my husband is away on a military deployment, i quired with Jim, the person on duty if he could be kind enough to install it for me, as I did not know how, nor did I probably have any tools for it. His response was "we dont do that", taking absolutely no concern that I would have to drive home with inadequate headlights, and with blatant disregard for me as a customer in need of assistance. I will no longer patronize that Latham NY location due to this unsatisfactory experience.

I wa having problems with the rear directionals on my Toyota 4Runner and was told by Northway Toyota that it was definitely a problem with wire corrosion and that after they tried to clean the contacts up it was no use and I would have to buy 2 brand new light units at $360 plus labor. Lets to the math and see that as a DIYselfer the $800 they wanted for 2 turn signals was not acceptable so this Friday I stopped in the Auto Zone in Latham where Shawn helped me find some electrical contact cleaner and bulb grease I was able to get one side working, Saturday I removed the other unit from the car and drove it down to Auto Zone again and this time Scott was there to help me brainstorm and troubleshoot. Shawn was there again and the help from the both of them was amazing. They dug out wire brushes and screw drivers and helped me find hidden places that needed to be cleaned and they pitched in too. Ultimately it was to no avail and I have to order a new unit but I saved a ton with their aid. Thanks Guys!
