2 stars because overall getting the car safe and sound to where it needed to be always happened. However in the manner they did it was completely unprofessional. Starting with the timing and finding where you are at to tow it took longer than the eta that was given every time. Then the driver drives like a maniac as well as having an attitude the entire time making it seem like a burden to do his job. Also the fact with the 1st encounter I had to help the guy myself by driving up his truck to secure it when I would ve had no problem about it but the guy was just flat out rude. Then the dispatch was even worse with answering the phone as if I was her child calling for money with nothing but complete unprofessional and disregarding tone from her. Lastly when my car was brought somewhere the guy left the tire leaning against the curb which it didn t do anything to my car nor do I think it would ve but it just shows a lack of awareness and respect for someone s vehicle. Mainly what I want to point out is that I dealt with them towing my car 3x in the past week and each time has been the same experience so it seems they have no intention to change we can only pray they do.

Unbelievably unprofessional and awful service. I requested help with a flat tire. I was told a driver would be over in an hour. Just before the hour was up, the driver called to say he'd be a little late. He had to pick up a tool and then he'd head over. An hour after the initial estimated arrival time, he still hadn't appeared so I called him back. He told me he was working on another service and would be over after he finished. I asked for an estimate of how long he'd be, he said he was jumping somebody's car and would be over right after. An hour after that, still nothing. So I called him again. First call went to voicemail. Called a few minutes later, immediately sent to voicemail. I decided to sit tight. He'd only do that if he was right around the corner, right? Shortly after that he marked the service as completed. He never showed up. I called him again to see what was going on. Got sent to voicemail over and over. On the fifth call or so he picked up, yelled at me to stop calling, and immediately hung up. After stringing me along and leaving me waiting for over three hours, I did not expect to be yelled at on top of everything. Incredible.

Very nice working with their driver Bobby who towed my One-Ton Dodge Dually with ease. Made great conversation with not just myself but my grandfather. Down to Earth guy who knows what he s doing.

Mother needed a tow and had been receiving spam calls all day she must ve received two calls at the same time thinking it was a billing company and told them she s at work and call them later. Apparently she didn t realize it was this towing company and she hung up the phone. When they arrived they didn t even open her car to check to see if it was unlocked. He has his radio up SUPER loud and was just chillin in his truck. When I asked him if he was here to tow my moms car he told me she gave me an attitude on the phone so i checked her car off as completed MIND YOU he didn t even get out the car AT ALL I just seen him pull up and ran outside to hand him the key like I was told to do. He told me he doesn t know why her phone was doing that and that it didn t apply to him so he wasn t towing her car because of her attitude. She tried to apologize on NUMEROUS occasions that it was a mistake she thought he was someone else and each time he said no because of her hanging up the phone. Before I could even get off the phone with my mom he drove off and ignored me . WORST COMPANY EVERService: Car towing

Felt it necessary to make it known that one of the drivers forced me off the road yesterday in the small town of Trumansburg when he "didn't see" me driving down Main street, even though my low beams and fog lights were on. The dispatcher who I spoke with to complain thought it was funny and laughed and laughed when telling me he saw the tape from the guys truck and the guy said he just "zoned out." This driver could have not only caused an accident, but hurt myself, my passenger, other drivers and even pedestrians as it's such a small well traveled area. Well done val-U auto.

The price for a tow was 2� cheaper than the other 3 places I called when my car died going up route 13. They quoted me a price for the tow and stuck to it even though it ended up being more challenging than anticipated. The woman I spoke with on the phone was so nice, she kept me up to speed on where the driver was and how long until my car was brought to my house. The gentleman who towed my car was very sweet, he apologized for being later than I was told ( there was a snow storm). He was very cautious when unloading my vehicle, he even repositioned it because he could tell I was nervous about where he had initially put it, I didn't even ask him to. I will use Val-U touring only, from now on. Thank you guys so much.

This company will do everything in their power to scam you over not take care of customer relationships. Simply they take your money and leave you high and dry. They have damaged vehicles during tows and are well known in owego for doing shady business. Many better quality tow or repair companies to use. Call Charlie's towing in ithaca as they are way more experienced and stand by the work they do. Unlike Valu auto.owners son is also very rude disrespectful and has no problem with bigotry. Seriously dont use this company

Perfectly good tow service, shouldn't have towed my car. Police tell you to tow a car, you ask why, you ask who's car it is, you try to contact the owner. You don't make an opportunistic buck off your community

They work hard at providing service at a quality price, there guys are helping tow people who are stranded or in need of repair, they do honest work.

Waited 6 hours for them to arrive. Absolutely insane.
