Finding a trustworthy mechanic is never easy, but with brake away, I was immediately put at ease. His prices were very reasonable, and he took the time to explain what work needed to be done and why, without making a lay person such as myself feel ignorant.He seemed to genuinely have a passion for mechanics and automotive engineering, and was happy to answer any questions I had.This isn t even mentioning the fact that his services are MOBILE ! So convenient let Travis at Brake Away know where your car will be parked and your vehicle will be serviced without having to take any time off.Great business to add to Ithaca and the surrounding areas. I wish it much success in the future!

I had brakes replace today with Brake Away and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. I absolutely love the convenience of having my brakes replaced at the comfort of my own home. I didn't have to waste time driving to a repair shop or waiting hours for my car to get serviced. Travis is very skilled and knowledgeable. He is attentive to my concerns, patiently answering all my questions, and ensuring that I was fully informed about the repair process. I am incredibly satisfied with the experience and will definitely utilize their services again in the future.

Service was outstanding. Brake Away Mobile came to my home, replaced my front and back brakes and rotors. Owner and worker were very polite and respectful. Price was fabulous and no overcharging. Greatest way to get your brakes done! They came to my place of business!!! No wasting time looking for a ride back and forth to a mechanic, no more loosing your car for a day or more because they don t have the parts. They arrived ON TIME, did front and rear brakes in less then 2 hours! I was able to get all my work done and was able to jump in my car and go. I also have to mention his professionalism. This is also great if you have small children at home, no more packing toys, snacks and having them bored sitting in a waiting room. I highly recommend this business and especially since he s local, he s not just a business he s a great guy who really cares!

Travis was wonderful! I contacted him through messages ( you can call, and get him through Facebook messenger) he got back to me within a couple hours and was literally at my house the next day. I requested my back brakes/rotors and an oil change. Not only did he get those done but he also cleaned out one of the calipers that was bound up. He will call you for payment over the phone and during this time in the world how much more convenient can that be. He is kind and so very professional- best decision I have made!

Excellent job. Convenient. The owner came to my house and did the brakes on my truck in my driveway. It's a genius idea to have a mobile brake service. He also does a lot more than just brakes. I will never take my vehicle to the shop again.

My fiance needed a starter changed in his truck in a hurry and Travis could not have been more accommodating and professional. They got here the very next day and took care of it for way less than I had expected.i will definitely be using them again in the future.

An absolute breeze going with brake away! I messaged them at 11am, by 1pm they were meeting me at work. They took care of everything then came and found me at work when they were finished. The customer service that was provided by Desire� was better than you would find in a store talking face to face with someone. Hands down the best service i've had with a mechanic, will deffinatley be comming back for any future needs!

Projects are established but never completed. Wasted a week or more just to have the owner tell me to take it somewhere else. Not recommended if you need something done within a certain timeframe.
